Hello. I'm the Dark Lord Sauron.

Looks like I correctly predicted that there would be water villains. The plant mini figures are very interesting, although some of them seem to have way too much detail to be feasible, such as the werewolf-tree and the tree-man. Looking forward to seeing more of the water monsters, but don't forget that we've also seen the water monster chef in addition to the new ones. You pretty much have to believe that the plants and water monsters are both coming next year because Lego definitely wouldn't reveal their bad guys for the third year of the theme, which could be the last, two years in advance. Can we get English descriptions?

How is the piece count only 898? A few changes: Lasers on Aaron's flyer are small swords Ash Attacker has Crust Smasher's helmet and sword Scurrier from the Rumble Blade is included and has fire on his head Prints on the flags are eagles Old book Shields Merlok looks like he was drawn on with a Sharpie

Would it still be yellow? The color is what made the set iconic, but I can't see Lego doing that in this day and age.

Any plant monsters we haven't seen? I know, I'm asking this again but no one answered the first time. Those new Nexo upgrades look incredible. I don't see why we wouldn't get them in a future sub theme. Those suits would be a perfect match with the dark blue/black bad guys.

Any new monsters we haven't already seen?

This is very, very impressive. Excellent work!

Never happening. People in this thread have been asking Lego to "Throw them a bone" for three years, and since Lotr has been removed for S@H, the site is gone and the message board was moved to classics. If that's not a enough to convince you, I don't know what is. It's dead. Very, very dead.

Looking at the picture again, the Chef seems to have elf ears.....

It's quite possible that they will put out a new 2013-stye theme to use for Middle Zealand in 2018. That year would also line up with when the Nexo Knights presumably go underwater, meaning that it's far away enough from a traditional Castle theme to warrant a "regular" one.
-
Errr..... is that one of the underwater guys? He doesn't fit with the Plant guys for sure.

Just a guess, but it's odd that there's a sixty dollar price gap, and I can't see Whiparella being in a cheap set.

And this also implies that people liked the 2013 Castle line. Who are we kidding? When the set pictures came out the people here ripped the them to shreds and then abandoned thread. Now that NK is out, people *here* hate it and talk about the "Good old days" , which includes Castle 2013, and say how much better it is. The same thing happened on this forum for themes we consider "Classics" today, such as Kingdoms and Fantasy Era. By Fantasy Era's third year people who talking about how it was a poor man's Lotr and couldn't wait for it to end. Ironically, the same people weren't satisfied with Lotr. Kingdoms was referred to as "Generic" and "Boring", and suddenly people were clamoring for Fantasy Era to come back. I'm ranting here to prove to everyone that the current opinions of people regarding themes should be taken with a grain of salt until years after the theme ends. The Historic themes forum as probably the biggest offender in this category.

Ava is obviously going to become a (good) witch at some point, due to her friendship with Merlok and her last name being "Prentice". Robin is Lloyd. Simple as that. This "New" Knight probably isn't going to be an addition to the original five. Lego always makes a big deal out of adding a new character to the roster in there in-house themes, making them the central character of a wave. See Lloyd, Fluminox etc. for further details. I noticed that DraikNova had some pretty inflated price predictions up thread. I'll make mine: Glob Lobber - $9.99 Thunder Mace - $19.99 Aero Hunter - $29.99 Seige Machine of Doom - $39.99 Tower Carrier - $59.99 Exclusive - $79.99 Lava Base - $119.99 Anxious to see what the exclusive is. Speaking of which, on Brickset there seems to be a new NK poly listed that has no name or picture..... wonder what it is.....

General Magmar's Siege Machine of Doom Possibly the best set name of all time, and contains exclusive General Magmar and Flama, the best Lava Monster. Bigger, taller, and more intimidating than the Evil Mobile, and the boarding ramp supposedly fits with the dimensions of The Fortrex.

That first bootleg set is hilarious. They just slapped a hover-horse onto the polybag bike and called it a day.

The light blue and gray one used in the arena in the first episode, where one of the Knights was training against the mech.

Felt like dropping in and sharing this. Stafford might be sharing some prototypes of Lotr sets from the eighties. Could be interesting.

LEGO Ideas Discussion
BrickJagger replied to The Real Indiana Jones's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Interesting stuff. What's more interesting is Stafford seemingly asking people if they want to see never-before seen prototypes, which I'm sure would get a yes from everyone here. -
^ Unfortunately large, detailed buildings just aren't going to sell as well as playable sets that "Swoosh" and shoot things. Since Nexo Knights is a clear example of the latter, there's a higher chance of a Castle-themed modular series, but don't be surprised if they just randomly bring Castle back for a wave or two in 2018 for the 40th anniversary. Remember, until NK is over "regular" Castle is in the same boat as Pirates. <-- Get it?
