I love how everyone hated this theme when it first came out and now its well on its way to becoming a fan favorite.....

"So, is the moral behind Jestro's transformation going to be that if you have self-esteem issues, you're an evil villain that everyone hates, or is it "this is a guy that had self-esteem issues and turned evil, don't have self-esteem issues"?" I don't think there was a moral there. Jestro isn't even the main bad guy anyway, so he's not going to be as well-rounded. "Why is Clay telling Jestro to stop doing what he's doing? For all he knows, Jestro is just staring at a book or conjuring up fairy floss." Well, when you walk into a library and see the court jester, who shouldn't be there in the first place, waving a staff over a book that's talking to him, I think you would have ample reason to be suspicious. Oh, and sorry for coming in a little too harsh with my comment on Ninjago.

Seeing it on the 23rd in a new theater with reclining leather seats. Until then I'll be avoiding every Star Wars related thread here like the plague.

Fair enough, but let's say Lego discontinues Nexo Knights and replaces it with Zelda (Never going to happen, but whatever). Instead of a rift between Old School and New School Castle fans, there would be one between Pro-Fleshie and Anti-Fleshie fans. That's a whole nother can of worms, isn't it?

Just judging by your new profile pic, I can tell that somebody's already on the 2017 hype train! Be prepared to wait a long, long time before we hear anything new about Mushlord and co. In the meantime we can be annoyed that more summer details haven't been leaked, despite people having seen them.

Okay, my thoughts: The first episode was a little bit of a snoozer at the start. The announcers are horrible and the tournament idea seems dumb. However, The Book of Monsters makes a good impression right from the start, and Jestro turning against his own friend is a good way to depict his transformation. Merlok does not put up a good fight at all, and decides to kill himself when he probably didn't have to. Whatever. Jestro somehow survives a fall from several hundred feet, but was I really surprised? Clay is a pretty good main character and he's easy to root for. I like him. Lance starts out snobby but will obviously have some sort of "Change of Heart" by the end of the season. Macy seems pretty cool and not your stereotypical token female hero. Axl needs to stop with the food jokes. Not too much from Aaron in these two episodes, but you can tell that he's already hitting on Macy. Second episode is better, by a lot. The Book and Jestro have some hit or miss funny dialog, with the highlight being when Jestro conjures up the Book Keeper. After eating one of the evil books, TBOM tells Jestro to summon some monsters to attack the kingdom. Sparkz and his buddy appear here, although there is no sign of Infernox, our other Lava Golem. The monsters go and attack some stupid-looking robo-knights, who are kind of funny in their own way. After Merlok comes back from the dead as a hologram, he saves the day and the knights power up to kill all of the monsters. At this point the story should end, as the knights have ample opportunity to take out a fleeing Jestro and Book Keeper, but instead opt to pose heroically. Overall, despite my criticism I really like where this show is going. I can't wait to see the human-sized monsters when they show up, and judging by a short teaser before to show, Whiparella has a British accent . After watching this I can say that this had a better first two episodes than Chima and Ninjago, regardless of the nostalgia blinding the Ninjago stans.

Wel, Jestro conjured up two big monsters (Who seem to be friends). One was Sparkz and the other said his name as well, I just missed it. He's pretty much a lock to be in a summer set.

With all of this talk of the 2017 Nexo Knights stuff, should I go make a thread for it? Unless that would make the mods mad.

And also because they would become the coolest Big Bang baddies ever released if made.

Did you ever get a response from Lordofdragonss? I have no clue why he barely posted anything about the sets after just seeing them.

The question is....... when is the Mushlord arc? 2017? If so, how on earth did we get pictures over a year in advance?

So, It's time for another "Monster List" I just love doing these, I can't help myself. Wave 1 Jestro, The Book Of Monsters Lava Monsters: Moltor, Lavaria, Ash Attacker, Crust Smasher, Flame Thrower, Beast Master Scurriers: Scurrier 1, Scurrier 2 Lava Golems: Infernox, Sparkz Globlins: Globlin 1 Wave 2 Lava Monsters: Whiparella, Flama, Magmar, Guy who holds The Book Of Monsters, Bear Trap guy Scurriers: Scurrier 3 Lava Golems: Lava Golem with Skull-Head, Lava Golem with Club-Fists Globlins: Globlin 2 Wave 3? Mushlord Plant Monsters: Plant Monster with weed on head Judging by the current pattern, we have six regular lava monsters, two Scurrier variants, two lava golems, and a Globlin variant per wave. That means that there's a lava monster and a Scurrier that we haven't seen.

Yeah, but they would be fleshies.

I thought the Knight version of Macy was in the smaller set?

Well, they did give Mushlord and name, and every other named NK fig is in a set in this wave or the summer wave, so I fully expect these guys to come out in 2017. Also, we now have four evil factions of fantasy creatures in Castle: Skeletons, Trolls, Lava Monsters, Mushroom People. I just want more summer 2016 info to be leaked, I don't want to get sucked into 2017 yet!

That's uhh...... a very enlightening story ya got there, Robert. I'm right handed, but for some reason I'm left footed. I've been trying to teach myself how to throw a baseball left handed, but I can only get to around forty feet (By contrast, it goes about 220 feet from my right hand). I'm still working on it.

As I expected. I like it when I dream about Lego doing something and Lego doing just that. What other sets are there? How about the Village Raid?
