2016 action theme?
BrickJagger replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Well, you could say RIP Lego Ninja 2011, but, judging by your profile picture, it turned out ok. I think that this "Futuristic Castles" concept could turn out quite well, as long as they insert some steampunk in there. -
According to the descriptions of the books, it will be "An activity book featuring the heroes, villains, vehicles, and locations from the top secret, NEW LEGO brand! With minifgure!" Don't think that describes the Big Bang Theory. Also, note the " Top Secret". Scooby-Doo and TBBT products are already out, so this is almost certainly Castle, since we aren't supposed to know about the existence of the line yet.

2016 action theme?
BrickJagger replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
^^ Yup, sounds like the Castle theme to me; in fact, my source even described the new Castle theme as being a "Big Bang Theme", so this would be that. Thanks for the link! -
Over in the Action themes forum, these two books were found: http://www.amazon.com/dp/0545905869/ and http://www.amazon.com/dp/0545905869/. Is this Castle? (Thank you Anchir for the link)

^ Yeah. March and July (for the first and second waves). That could be true, but the "July" sets usually start to show up in stores around May, and I have no idea why Lego would have sets come out in March and May. I think that he means January and July, but I'm not sure.
-
That's true, and I'm kind of surprised that he hasn't leaked a Castle set list for years despite leaking the 2007, 2008 and 2009 lists way back when. But.... I PM'ed him a few months ago and he told me that there will be a new Castle line next year, so, there's that.

Lego Ninjago 2016
BrickJagger replied to LegendsOfNinjago's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Yeah, Legomilk doesn't usually respond quickly, so you should hold out for a few more days. I asked him about the Castle stuff back in April, and I got a similar cryptic response, with the next replies being a few days after each other. -
Oooh, not bad. The wings could be bigger, but I like that it has the same type of non-licensed charm the Goblin does. I'll buy multiples of this one.
-
Strange, I've only seen maybe three or four spam topics in two years plus lurking here, but since April I've seen seven or eight. Maybe I wasn't looking in the right places, oh well. I think that the level of spam here is remarkably low for a site with 140k plus members and tens of thousands of viewers each day, props to the mods for keeping it that way. I'll admit that I've commented on spam threads before, there was one that rambled about Bob Dillon, the Boston Red Sox, and Cantaloupe (with a link to some sort of steroid) that was so funny that I couldn't resist. However, if some members have a problem with that, I won't do it anymore. Just my thoughts.

Mountain Rescue for the summer will be fun if true. I like how Lego has been bringing back their classic town sub themes like Arctic and Deep Sea and updating them. I think that they have pulled it off well. I hope that there will be a full scale mountain in that line as I need something like that on the outskirts of my city. Now all we need is an Outback sub theme in 2017 and we should be set.

Very nice build! Simple but effective!

Can't tell if that was serious or not, but let's not overreact here. My post was basically right under the one with that quote, so you would have to see that one to see mine. C'mon, really? I've now edited that post to clarify what I meant.
-
I like the new Falcon, but the X-Wing is just decent, as others have said. I have to admit that I'm a little disappointed that BB-8 can't roll, even though that would have made him oversized and clunky. I'm sure that we will see Stormtrooper battle-packs in January as well as Resistance ones to make up for the lack of them in this wave. On a side note, there are currently over 100 people reading this topic.
-
Sorry about that, I added the "Castles" in there after seeing AyliffeMakit's post to convey how I though it was obvious that they are talking about Castle.
-
So, basically, it's this: Quote Are you a visually creative Digital Art Director who can communicate funny, interesting and cool stories? Would you like to manage and execute highly conceptual and creative campaigns for a brand new Castle universe from the LEGO Group? We are launching a new home grown Castle line aimed at boys.

Lego Ninjago 2016
BrickJagger replied to LegendsOfNinjago's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Never mind. Ninjago is getting the airship pirates, not Castle. Castle is getting something equally as wacky though.... -

That wasn't referring to Ninjago, I don't think. *Flying Castles* -

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
BrickJagger replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Agreed. It's obvious that the upcoming TFA wave isn't going to be the only wave related to the movie. After all, there are no army builders in this wave, and since Lego makes tons of money off of battlepacks every year, and battle packs usually come out in January.......... TFA battlepacks! -
There's a Dimensions discussion thread already.

I hate to ask this, but why are the Middle Earth threads still pinned/open? Z said in June that it would be gone soon.
