Done. Couldn't figure out how to have to logo directly appear on the thread, so I linked it.
-
It's in this thread, somewhere around page 50.

We have the set list and German prices, as well as character names. We also know that there will be at least two books to go along with this theme, and I would bank on a TV show.

Love the logo, it looks futuristic and medieval at the same time, but still looks good. I don't think that this is a Sci-Fi theme like others are saying. Anything that has "Knights" in the title will always be a Castle theme. Now that the logo is out, it won't be long before we get pictures........ At least two Lava Monsters. Lavaria and Moltor.

Sorry for the double post, but I want to know if others are having the same problem as me. I filled out a card at a stand that claimed to be running a raffle for some Lego store gift cards. However, a few days ago I was called by a "Travel Agent" who left a message in my inbox claiming that I had won a free cruise for filling out that card. She mentioned Brickfair by name. A few hours later, another telemarketer called who mentioned a similar scenario and once again brought up Brickfair. They both gave out different numbers. It seems that the Brickfair people sold my number to them. Anyone else having this problem?

[MOC] SPACASTLON - Space & Castle hybrid theme
BrickJagger replied to ___'s topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I really like how the first set looks but the second one has a little bit too much going on. Interesting concept though, and I admire the effort and detail you have put into these.- 3 replies

Nice little build! I like how you can choose to interpret what the structure is, it leaves room for imagination and that's what Lego is all about.

That's very strange. I know that Disney likes to keep a stranglehold on their rumors and products, but these are official pictures and came out only two weeks before the sets are going to. There aren't even any big spoilers in the sets, and if there were, what's the difference between getting spoilers in mid-August rather than early September for a movie that comes out in December? These sets look good but some of them aren't worth the hefty price tag (Tie fighter and Transporter, I'm looking at you). I'll probably get the Snow Speeder, Rey's Speeder and Kylo Ren's Shuttle.

Nice MOC and welcome to Eurobricks!

ROBO-Castles, that is. Oops! Here's something: Two guys that worked on TLM and the Ninjago TV show, Dan and Kevin Hageman, said that the new theme is Knights Nexo, not Nexo Knights. Just2Good was right..... Maybe these guys are working on that rumored TV show?

2016 action theme?
BrickJagger replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
It could be put into Action Themes, but there's a strong case for keeping it in Historic. If Nexo Knights is moved, Historic will have zero active themes and will turn into was the Pirate forum was for years: One post a week hopelessness. Action themes has Ninjago and Elves to keep it going, so we should keep NK in Historic to keep that section alive. -
Lego Ninjago 2016
BrickJagger replied to LegendsOfNinjago's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I would bet money that it is. If Chima, Ninjago, and Nexo Knights are the three Big Bangs, and the first two are connected, why wouldn't NK be? How many realms are there? 16? Lego could keep this going for a loooooong time. : P -
Lego Ninjago 2016
BrickJagger replied to LegendsOfNinjago's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
There's no way that the largest set is fifty bucks. The two largest sets are Misfort and Sky Shark, they just aren't listed. I noticed the same thing with Nexo Knights. In the first set number leak, there were eight regular sets. In the set name leak, only six are there, and Jestro's set is the biggest at only fifty bucks, implying that the other two are larger but for some reason aren't listed. Ninjago is making way for Nexo Knights next year, just like it did for Chima in 2013. I suspect that Lego made so many Ninjago sets this year because they were trying to keep Ninjago fans happy and introduce a new theme at the same time. -
Nice work!

Every EB "New Set" thread ever has started with speculation. This is gonna get merged.

Some will like it, others won't. I guess it's a matter of preference. Faefrost's post from two pages ago refects my thinking.
-
It sure is a catchy name for a TV series, no? ; )
-
Yeah, we should just rename this one. All of the loooong lotr and Castle threads of the past had tons of "nothing" before the lists came out, so why would this be any different?

2016 action theme?
BrickJagger replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Okay, so the Big Bang theme is called Nexo Knights, but it's a steampunk Castle theme. Guess that's the answer to our question. Set list is in the Castle 2016? (Soon to be renamed) thread. -
Nexo Knights? Time to rename this topic. ; ) ^ Since KK2 was in Historic Themes and this theme is basically KK3, it should stay here. Also, those Ultimate characters are not CCBS. They are figs with weapons. Since the largest set is only about 50 bucks, I suspect that we are missing a couple from this list. That robo-horse could fit the steampunk description, so maybe there is some of that. Two good armybuilders: The two smallest ones. The biggest set has a strange name. "Monster Masher": Nexo Knights vs monsters? Sorry for the endless stream of thoughts. : P

^ What did you expect to find? I can't find the post that said this (I'm on mobile) but someone said that this theme will be ruined because it's an going to be like an Action Theme. I disagree. Monster Fighters is a good example of an Action Theme done right, as it pleases fans of classic monsters as well as kids who want wacky vehicles and the like. Another good example is Pharoah's Quest. If this theme can appeal to both audiences, we have a success. I agree with idea that giving Castle more exposure is good for the theme becuase it will encourage designers to put more imagination and charm into their products. Once this theme ends (Not for at least three years), the next subtheme will probably lack fantasy, but the designers will be trying hard to replicate the success of the previous line, giving us good products for years to come.
