  3. That was awful...... I really had my hopes up last year and I thought that there was going to be an Fantasy Era revival..... This new sub theme is definitely not going to have mini-dolls, because Elves is still kicking (new wave next year) and I don't think Lego could justify having two girl-oriented fantasy themes and zero boy-oriented ones. Meanwhile, how many sets do you think we are going to get in the summer wave? Twelve sets are in this wave, so I would expect less for next summer.
  4. Didn't you just answer a question? Mine: Why aren't you able to make your own member title? Also, why do only certain people have member titles? That always confused me.
  5. Thank you to everyone who responded. Unfortunately, none of the proposed methods worked, but I was able to solve the problem. I put the included 1x2 flat onto the stuck piece and pushed sideways. The added height gave me more room to put my finger, and eventually the brick came out. My finger stung for quite a while, but it was worth it. Again, thanks guys.
  6. Went to BrickFair VA yesterday and got the following Castle sets (also got some other stuff): Axe Cart (2000) Vladek Encounter (2004) Fireball Catapault (2005) Troll Warrior (2008) The Knight (2008) Kingdoms Advent Calendar (2010) And that dang Goblin CMF that I spent countless hours trying to find.
  7. Today I bought set 8777 (Vladek Encounter) at Brickfair Virginia. I got home and started building the set, and I quickly noticed that the bricks were hard to separate once I attached them to the build. Long story short, I ended up with a black 2x1 stuck in the barding gap of the horse included. I couldn't pull it out and used a variety of methods to attempt to free the brick, including using a rubber band and a brick separator. Any suggestions?
  8. Prison Island? Hopefully it's some sort of mini-Alkatraz type thing.
  9. A little confused here. Since "Big Bang" ( That's not what it's actually going to be called ) is a Steampunkish Castle theme, it's going to stay in the Historic Themes forum, right? Or will it be moved here because of the Steampunk? (I'd like to keep it in Historic, but that's me) Regarding this list: Is Ninjago's first wave light next year so Lego can introduce "Big Bang" to customers? Maybe a bigger second wave?
  10. C4MS missed a couple of sets in this theme because they were hidden in the list, so by my count we have PT 1-8 and four HY's. I'm willing to bet that the PT's are regular sets and the HY's are figure packs. Twelve sets for the winter wave is pretty nice and keep in mind that we also are going to get a summer wave. PS shoutout to Robert8, I bought two KK2 sets today.
  11. This is the thread he was talking about. Also, I think that Mark Stafford is a set designer for this new theme. Here's the last comment he made on his bricklist : (Which was for a Chima set) "This and the Exo Suit are actually the only sets I designed in 2013/14. I had a bit a turbulent time in my personal life so they put me on forward planning, wait until you see the sets I can add next January! It theoretically could be anything, but we can narrow it down: When do the new sets come out? January. Was Stafford a principal designer for Chima and Ninjago? Yup. Discuss.
  12. OK, I was told that this new theme is Castle with heavy steampunk. Futuristic, but no Spaceships or anything. I'd say that this theme is 80 percent Castle, 20 percent Steampunk. I think we should merge this. Nothing new here.
  13. Fans PM OP and tell him to put everything in the first post.
