  1. Speed Champions set 75895 mod. The new 1974 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.0 set in red. Still needs 2 red parts to finish and the stickers to go on. Notice in step 4 and 9 that 2 x 2 round bricks replaces the 1 x 2 bricks used in the lime green car to secure the axles. Also the instruction booklet is now half the size and no longer folded in the box.
  2. Speed Champions fix. Toy shop had 25% of store wide :) Porsche has clear backed stickers so a few colour rebuilds on the way.
  3. Looking at my SC MOC's in LDD most are between 180-220 pieces for a vehicle.
  4. Piece count has gone up from around 200 for the single car sets. Will that mean a bigger accessory piece. If so the price may go up to cover the increased pieces. :(
  5. My Ferrari Dealership Showroom at the Taupo Hobby Show. Roof removed for better viewing. Enjoy :)
  6. My LEGO Speed Champions layout at the Taupo Hobby Expo in New Zealand 13-14 July 2019. A quick video. Photos to follow.
  7. Hi, thanks for looking at all of my creations. The Speed Champions theme changed me from being a LEGO collector of 35 years to a LEGO MOC designer and builder. I enjoy sharing my creations with others.
  8. Love the look of your buses. I have an HO scale version built by Rapido in Canada (cost $NZ90) https://rapidotrains.com/ho-new-look-bus
  9. Built a DeLorean yesterday afternoon / evening in LDD. Imported into Stud.io so I could do a few tweaks and then render it. Uses the SC wheels, chassis and Technic bricks underneath. Only SNOT work is the rear tail lights. Inside not done yet. A work in progress. Enjoy :)
  10. Hi, no i never did build the Lancia Stratos. Here is a couple of angles for you. It is based on the latest 75890 Ferrari F40 set. Enjoy :)
  11. Having a play with stud.io and its in built render program for the first time as a change from LDD. A few pics of my recent designs. Enjoy :)
  12. Its great to hear that the Porsche 911 stickers are clear backed so you can make different colour versions on the base chassis
  13. 10 years ago I made parking spots on the road plates to fill in the gap between the modular's and the road surface. Using a tile as the white line. Also made parking meters. The green line became a bike lane. But now I have gone to 48 x 48 4 lane roads that can sit beside my MOC buildings with modular based footpaths or any of my modular's.
  14. Found this on you tube. Love the brick solution for the flames.
  15. I heard that LEGO had to drop a set or design and needed a quick replacement.
  16. Have been told it will arrive at my favourite toy shop at the end of July ;)
  17. Blurry photo is from LEGO catalog for second half of the year so it is not watermarked. Looks white to me.
  18. I believe that there will be another small SC set. A local toy shop owner who is also an AFOL told me of this awhile ago.
  19. I really like how you have done the stairs. Never seen that idea before.
  20. My solution to wider vehicles is to go to a 48 x 48 stud base plate for roads. Each lane is 10 studs wide.
