  1. This is awesome! I love it! I think I'm inspired to make a version of my own. I actually like the 1 story look. It's cool. Great job.
  2. I was using the 1x1 round transparent yellow bricks that come with Star-Lord and Iron Man. I don't know exactly the reason it causes damage. Someone on Eurobricks posted about it, I don't remember who, so I checked my figures to see if he was right. Alas, he was and my Star-Lord's legs had stress fractures on the back. I think the member, whose name I forgot, said it had to do with the transparent pieces being made from a different kind of plastic than most bricks. Maybe he'll see this and enlighten us about it.
  3. Great build! A warning though: Sometimes the transparent pieces attached to minifigure legs can cause damage to the figure. It happened with my Star-Lord minifigure, and I was sad.
  4. He's so cute in a manly sort of way!
  5. I found a small Galaxy Squad set at Ollie's once. It wasn't a very good deal though. Just about $2 off, so I passed on it.
  6. Wow. That is all.
  7. I saw this when you first posted it, but I wasn't a member then, so I didn't comment. Now I can! Great build! I love Vladek as a character, and this build does him great justice. Good job.
  8. Thanks, I can read. I wouldn't want someone reading my draft, even if it only says "Draft".
  9. Why are we able to see these? I don't feel right looking at Tim Courtney's draft of a blog post...
  10. Wow! This looks great! This has become my favorite Work in Progress thread to watch, by the way.
  11. If this theme includes new book pieces that don't break themselves...I might actually like this. That big orange dude is my favorite.
  12. The reboot thing is a load of nonsense. It's still a reboot though.
  13. Thanks for that link, Xon67. Unfortunately he hasn't put up a LDD file for the chopper. Oh well. Another request I have is the Pig Cart Thingy from the Wild West Realm. I understand you are mostly doing Bricksburg though, so that request may not be relevant.
  14. That egg may be the only good thing I see. I hope that LEGO uses it in an architectural way sometime, seeing as I won't be buying these sets just for an egg. Perhaps the builds will be amazing and surprising. Maybe. Such odd minifigures, if you can call them that. I do enjoy playing around with different ways to use big fig and non traditional minifig parts though, so maybe these will prove useful there...
  15. -Men in Black -Planet of The Apes series (Original and new) -Gremlins (That would be funny) -Godzilla and King Kong team pack (Why not?) -Parks and Recreation -The Princess Bride -Gladiator (The film) -Columbo -Pablo Picasso Fun Pack (An open world based on his art would be hilarious.)
  16. I reverse built the apartment and put it next to the original, doors together. For the Pet Shop/Apartment, I built the second story to add to the original, and also built the third story again with quite a few modifications. Because of this I designed a smaller roof, since the third (Fourth and fifth, now) floor is sloped inwards. I used the extra pieces to make a one-story inverted-corner modular MOC. It's a hot dog restaurant. I may not be explaining all this very well. Eventually, I'll have to figure out how to post pictures here. Not a typo, I was ecstatic to find that price at a thrift store. I got it and the VW Camper for $20 together.
  17. "Most Humorous Posts Award"? Wha ha awesome! If you're taking requests, I'd love to see a good render of the Copper Chopper. The Helicopter, not the bikes. I tried to build one, but I could not get a good enough image for me to attempt building it. God Bless
  18. I would guess the Parisian Restaurant, just because it was released first, but there have been many exceptions to that logic. I love the Pet Shop though. I would recommend getting a second one and combing them if you have the money. I was lucky enough to find a second Pet Shop for just $10.
  19. That's exactly what I'm thinking. Also, normal clip pieces can attach to these axles, I believe, so I look forward to seeing what people use these for besides holding wheels.
  20. If the baby was the same size, shape and angle as a quiver then she could use Thorin's hairpiece.
  21. Hey, quick question: Does anybody know if the UCS Tumbler is in the same scale as the UCS Batmobile from the first Batman series? Thanks. Sorry if this is the wrong thread, I wasn't sure where to ask this.
