This is cool! People keep making these "Warbird" MOCs, but I don't even remember him having one in the film. I'm sure he did, but what significance did it have? I guess my real question is why have there been so many of these MOCs but not very many accurately scaled Milano MOCs? That would be awesome. Anyway, great job on this. This is by far my favorite MOC of Rocket's ship that I've seen. God bless!

It's okay, BaronSat, everyone I meet criticizes my nose too. Great build.

I'm not familiar enough with Batman to know this... Why are all the villains in boxes? Are they just like wax figures? I love the lighting though.

This is so cute/tragic. I love it. I'm sure the soldiers did something to deserve this Kraken's wrath.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 14 Rumors and Discussion

Found Series 14 at a Walgreens store. There were about twenty bags, 5 of which were Squarefoot. Very odd. Wardancer, I didn't have any trouble feeling the ones I wanted. The Banshee's hair only has to be distinguished from the Spectre's hood. Their legs are pretty easy to find. Good luck! -

I) Shark Costume Person (TragicBanjo had a Hot Dog Costume guy as his avatar before Series 13 came out, so.... ) II) Evil Gnome (With the Series 13 Wizard's Hat) III) Satyr IV) Gingerbread Woman V) Snowman VI) Player 2 (I believe this has been suggested multiple times before.) VII) Female Galaxy Trooper VIII) Crusader type Knight IX) Female Mechanic X) Evil Alien (Recolored Series 13 Alien Trooper head) XI) Zeus type character. XII) Tower of London Beefeater (I liked that idea. So I stole it.) XIII) Magician (Houdini type. A straight jacket would be great) XIV) Tooth Fairy XV) Mannequin XVI) Airline Pilot -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 14 Rumors and Discussion

I've never noticed him on the moon... I really like some of these figs...I look forward to a normal series, but this is better than expected. -
I really like the way this is growing, I'm not a huge fan of Batman, but watching these threads has been quite entertaining. Are you planning to cover the "Big Ugly Rock Pieces" A.K.A. BURPS with brick built rock formations, to make it look a bit more natural? Also, do you plan to have a "roof" on this? Perhaps removable? Or maybe even...Wayne Manor? Godspeed

This is awesome. I notice the technic holes... Are you planning to build a modular version of the entirety of modern Rome?

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
Actor Builder replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Maybe this will help: I heard that there will be a Jar Jar Binks Battle Pack in December. $12.99 USD Three variations of Jar Jar Binks, a Midi-chlorian nanofig (New mold, yay!) and a flick fire missile rock. Discuss! -

Wow! I love this! So you modeled it after a certain plane? I'd love some build process shots, to see how it evolved in building. -
On one hand, I'm looking forward to pictures of these sets. On the other hand, I'm not at all looking forward to digging through pages of complaints about how terrible they are to actually find the pictures... Oh well. NEXO could be a derivative of the Latin word nexus, which pretty much means a closely bonded group, or strong connection. If this is the case then I would assume this theme centers around a team of a few heroes, like most action themes, and will not have many generic soldier minifigs. Sorry if this has already been discussed, I didn't read the entire thread.

just2good, I saw that you have two of the crazy scientist. Can you snap a picture of one with the headpiece on top of the headpiece, just to satisfy my twisted mind? Thanks -

Cool series! Very recognizable. What inspired you to make these?

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 14 Rumors and Discussion
Actor Builder replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I've resisted on commenting until the full series was released, so I could see them all, and I actually really like them. I love "The Fly". It's so perfect. The use of Davy Jones' claw does make me a bit sad, as it's not completely exclusive now (Different colour), but the use of it here is amazing. I loved the original "The Fly" film, and this figure is just great. I was really hoping he would have a fly arm, and the claw fits the bill for me. I also really like the Gargoyle, but that's because I just love gargoyles for some reason. Also, I seem to be in the minority, but I really like the scientist's head. It's different and fun and should provide some nice inspiration for mocs, using it as something other than a head. -

This is art. I love it immensely. Great job. -
No, I've heard of it. I've supported quite a few projects recently as well. When I saw the initial announcement I thought it was a weird choice. When I saw the finished set I thought that even more so. I like The Big Bang Theory, but I don't know how well a small bit of a film set translates into bricks. Yes, it's recognizable enough, but not really "cool". I figured that with licensed Ideas projects LEGO would mainly produce vehicles from films. The sitcom thing is just a surprise to me.
-
So LEGO does sitcoms now... I wonder then if a LEGO "Parks and Recreation" office could become something... LEGO does seem to like Mr. Chris Pratt. Anyway, this is a weird set to me. The only minifigures I actually found recognizable were Raj and Sheldon. For a show with such focus on characters, I would have hoped for better figures. As others have said, the apartment is also not very impressive. I feel it could have been made better by adding a black tile border. Maybe with "The Big Bang Theory" printed somewhere on it. To me the appeal of this set is just the printed parts and some other small objects. All that said, I like the show and plan to purchase the set.

I can think of a few other builds... Of course the Ectomobile, but then you could have a brick built mini Stay-Puf Marshmallow Man, a micro Ghostbuster HQ (I don't remember if that's it's real name), heck, considering the piece count in some of these "builds" LEGO might try to get away with a Proton Pack build, which would be disappointing....

I think two of my seven Nazis has that same problem. It doesn't bother me too much.
