  8. I see what you mean. I have the same problems. So many ideas and far to less bricks to build it (and no money in my pocket to buy). I wish you all the best on the construction of your town and hope we will see its progress.
  9. Great idea to fill the gap. The front looks great. Mayby you should have made the building a little deeper, so there was more room for an interior and the back would have fitted better with TH.
  10. Hi Pandora. Yes that was one of the Paradisia sets i am going to use, the other will be this one No swing to, but that wil be my own construction. Some modifications wil be made, but i will leave it as original as posible.
  11. I am working on something simular, but my playground will come behind the modulars, in the garden area. Here is the first module. It was very simple to use the Friends set for this. There is also a Paradisia set i am thinking to use and wil include a slide, a swing, a sandbox, a seesaw (In Dutch a Wip). I hope i was of some help to you and looking forward on pictures of your project
  12. What a magnificent structure, and on flat roadplates as well. I gave my support whole heartly on Cuscoo to this project, and many thanks for the LDD. Now this would be a project worthy for TLG to follow up on.
  13. Well, taking about a very stunning peace of work. Very wel done there my friend.

  19. Very lovely work there JDW, a very good start indeed. Love what you did with what you've had. Now let us see what you can do with new, modern bricks my friend. By the way. Welcome back to Lego. You've been away to long.

  21. First of all, welcome to Eurobricks. And second...... Brilliant, brilliant. The fronts look spectacular. If these are your first MOC's, then i am very ancious to see the next ones.
  22. I have been away from the forum for a while, so i missed the launch if this topic. Reeding it hoever made me smile. So many opinions, good or bad. Made me remember all the negative attention to Pet Shop when the first pictures were published and how many turned 180 when the set was officialy released. I think many will do the same. I was quite pleased with it. It looked great and wil be an asset to my town. I must agree with those who dislike the `Limo`, on that part Lego could have come up with something a little better. The streched Limo would have been great here. I can´t wait until more details are published
  23. Great MOC. I hope the display was a succes. To me it is.
  24. Great layout. Love the bridge. My compliments to you.
  25. I guess i am an purist too. I have seen other brands too, but never got myself over and buying them. There is always something there that buggs me, don't know what that is. I realy like the freight train from BanBao, but is also costs about 100 Euro here in Holland and i don't like the battery holder/bottom plate from the BanBao locomotive. If i had the building instructions (tried to look for it on Internet, but could not find a good one) i would try to build this engine with Lego bricks (almost put original Lego there). The Enlighten sets look good, but can't be bought in Holland, only ordered in the US, that would mean al lot of shipping costs. Allthough i am not against other brands to enrich my train (or city) collection, i just does not seem abel to do so.
