  1. Many clever techniques, really looks superb. My favourite part is the addition of light green. And the small hut is lovely.
  2. The best AoE-representation in Lego I have seen so far. The nostalgia!
  3. Really neat build, just so fitting for the setting, love it.
  4. Why are some of the winners crossed out? Also wow, I really did not expect to be among the winners here! :-) Makes me really happy right now!
  5. I guess that's rather simple: In case MCTC does not, leadership will prevent the deal from happening. If leadership does not prevent the deal from happening MCTC either has the money already or has found a way to get the money. Also I don't see how this is benefitting only a few members? Everyone who has been building only two FBs per month would easily have 50 DBs by now. Yes, maybe the inactive members don't get a thing from that, but they shouldn't anyways (and probably don't want to). Also I'd rather have the benefit for one share than for no share at all... Even if I was the poorest of us all. But then again, who am I arguing with? :-)
  6. Fantastic colourscheme, the sails are great too. I really like how the ship looks like some kind or swimming fortress - just so strong. Great job.
  7. Maxim, I really don't understand your calculations? What about that is gaming the system? If the TC is willing to pay money to benefit its members - why not?
  8. I am willing to buy 10 shares. I am currently not 100% sure if I have enough money for 10, but I will have the money for eight shares 100% sure and most, most likely for 9 as well. Will double check at Saturday.
  9. I love the interior of the church, and a great topic to cover overall. Well done!
  10. Great to have this scene in Nova Terreli. I really like the action and detail, and also the rudimentary way of the market stands - just plain and simple business, as it's supposed to be in NT! The mayor approves.
  11. Fantastic. Those cocoa plants are just amazing, so much dedication into the research and the build. Also it really has a wildish flair, not like a flat plantation but rather like using and expanding on what is already there, like one would do on a newly discovered island. Just great.
  12. What a fantastic idea, and great execution as usual. Good to have your builds around here as well.
  13. What an excellent presentation of that scene, wonderful! The scene and the minifigs just seem so... realistic. Great, just great.
  14. Nice build, great rendering, the style fits really well, I like it a lot! I would have loved one or two close up shots, though.
  15. The Cotton Lady in Dragon's Teeth. Again.
  16. Disgustingly well done. Makes me sad, but a great build.
  17. Gorgeously beautiful. Definitely my all-time favourite so far from you. I would have loved to have that one in Nova Terreli, I guess Alberto da Pontelli has visited Nova Terreli before building his residence? But for real: Absolutely stunning! The colourscheme is lovely, and so many great building techniques on the gate, the fences, the lanterns and the statues. Just super amazing!
  18. LOL! But nicely executed as well. Good job, keep it up! :-)
  19. Listen up, brethren: Nova Terreli offers great rewards for Education, Art & Culture. Any members of all foreign nations are explicitly invited to build as well! (This time for real, so go ahead).
  20. Now you've teased me!
  21. Education, Art & Culture Nova Terreli, by many considered the solid cornerstone of Eslandola's success in Terraversa, is not only a center of trade and hard work, but also of scholarship and culture. Prove that to the world. Task for April: Build and license an "Education" propery in Nova Terreli AND/OR build and license an "Art & Culture" property in Nova Terreli. Reward: For the first licensed property in one of the two categories the city bank will pay 20 DBs. Taking into account the first monthly income that is 100% of licensing fees! => Price has been claimed by Capt Wolf For the first build in the other category the city bank will pay 15 DBs. For the second build in each of the categories the town bank will pay 10 DBs each - next month (in May). Every other property of the above licensed until the 24th of April will be rewarded with 5 DBs - next month (in May). Every other build concerning education or art & culture built in Nova Terreli in April will be rewarded with 2 DBs - next month (in May). To further incentivize quality a jury of me and three other people of my choice (who have not participated, so I will decide at the end of April) will select the best entry which will be rewarded with 15 DBs in May. Limitations: Open to members of all nations! Multiple entries per person explicitly allowed. License must be aquired to get the reward (else: only 2 DBs). Deadline is 30th of April (except for the 5 DB-ones, which has 23rd). You are not restricted to licensing them as "small". Rewards will not be higher for higher licenses, though. You are welcome to give me a message about your planned builds and ask if anyone else has yet announced his (or even send me VIPs). If until 24th of April in one of the categories no build has been submitted I might participate myself (before that I won't). Even though speed is an incentive here, quality is very important for Nova Terreli. If I think your build is far under your skills ("just some hastily done crap to earn those DBs") I will decline it. Don't be afraid, I don't expect anyone to be a master builder, nor will I decline anything where I can see the effort spent into it. Just in case... Possible scenario: * Kabel, as a Nova Terreli veteran, builds + licenses a school (education) and gets 20 DBs. * Bart takes the chance and builds a small opera (culture) and gets the 15 DBs. * Capt Wolf builds and licenses a library (education) and gets 10 DBs. * Phadeout builds and licenses a school (education) at April 22nd and gets 5 DBs.. * Bart builds and licenses a school (education) at April 22nd and gets 5 DBs.. * Faladrin builds (but does not license) a library (education) at April 23rd and gets 2 DBs. * Brickwolf builds and licenses a school (education) at April 29th and gets 2 DBs.. * KaiNRG takes the chance to earn 10 DBs for building and licensing a small theatre (culture),
  22. Well yes, that's how a king resides. :-)
  23. I think a change that might really be neccessary is a bonus malus system depending on the nation. Someone in this thread said sth. along the lines of "many Sea Rats have become traders" - sure, that is fine and possible, but not the original intention. It might look sth. like this: Corrington: Has the most scientifically advanced ships and gets a bonus on the strength of the hull (or maneuverability maybe, or speed or whatever will be new) -> (H) is one point higher than the original. Oleon: A true warrior nation, gets a bonus on gun ratings -> (G) is one point higher than the original Eslandola: A true merchant nation, gets a bonus on cargo -> ($) is one point higher than the original Sea Rats: Every Sea Rat at the seas is a fierce warrior, affecting the whole crew of the ship -> © is one point higher than the original Another way could be to add bonusses to the rolls from Ska (so whenever he rolls a trade in a city Eslandola has a slightly higher chance, whenever a ship is boarded the Sea Rats have a slightly higher chance, Oleon in pure naval combat, Corrington has a chance to safe a ship that is about to sink, or sth. like that). Those ratings would work for captured ships as well: Eslandola would always find a spot for more Cargo, Oleon would just add some bigger guns, Corrington would put some metal plates to the hull, and the Sea Rats crews would just be stronger than the previous crew. I really think such an addition would: * add to the strategic depth of the game a lot * differentiate the nations' approach to the game * make every ship attractive to at least one nation * (maybe create some overpowered scenarios, but that's what adaptions in the rules are for)
