  1. Thank you, I am always keen on expanding my repertoire of techniques. Thank you for the nice comment, mdae me happy. I will try to continue hurting you. ;-) One of the things I love about BoBS: It does not only have war and dark scenes but so much loveliness. I am quite happy with how the wooden dock turned out as well, thanks! Thank you so much - for our Dubloons... ehrm... King and country of course! Thank you, I will continue to keep Nova Terreli shine even brighter in the future. Thank you so much! I am quite happy with most of the minifigs, which I feel often lacked in many of my previous builds. What a nice comment, thank you so much! And thank you for noticing all those small details. I did my best. :-) Thank you. Half a year ago all I could think about were grey, brown and tan - now I love my orange, blue, green and purple. But as always credit goes to kabel for setting the general appearance and style of our beloved Nova Terreli. I just followed and executed. Wow, thank you! I've never been to a Lego convention, at least not since my childhood. Maybe. At least I am trying to not disassemble the build anytime soon. Well, that is until the next projects start requiring bricks. The minifigs won't last long on there I am afraid. I just hope another build won't claim the bricks too soon.
  2. That floor is really great, I love the design. Really cool how you took the same design to the wall as well. Cool build overall, but really, the floor stands out.
  3. I have fixed the tool to half the license price for all Sea Rat properties (rounded up). So instead of 25 DBs it's 13 DBs now. @Vedauwoo: I have also corrected all your licensing-fees in the database, could you please double-check and give me a quick note if something is still off?
  4. Really? Sea Rats only pay 50% for their licenses? Really? Wow, where can I sign up for YOUR nation? Jokes aside, I didn't know that. Please confirm, I will then correct both the tool and your entries to the database. All I could find in the rules searching for that right now was in the ship rules, that you pay full licenses for ships unlike for properties. I couldn't find anything in the property rules. So please give me a quick confirmation.
  5. Wonderful small build, and a great idea. Now get it going and make your invention big!
  6. This hurricane shows what LDD can be good for - great work. I usually am not a big fan of LDD, but you keep convincing me of the opposite. Thank you for that.
  7. The small vegetation-covered islands in the water are just lovely.
  8. What a great (expensive I guess?) and innovative technique for realistic cobblestones. The vegetation fits the style perfectly as well, and the sword is a cool addition.
  9. Unofficial Account Balance Calculation tool (ABC-Tool) What it does: * Add your earnings / spendings to the database * It calculates license-prices etc. based on game rules (e.g. 20% off on Commerce buildings for Eslandolans from April onwards) * It calculates the revenue based on the game rules (e.g. Monopolies) How to use it: 1. Register your account. I've kept it simple: No password, no email, no hard stuff. Just click register and you will get a 4-digit-PIN-code. Remember that one. 2. Add everything just like you did with Ska's forms: Freebuild-registration, properties, ships. Also add MRCA-results etc. Use "other" for anything that is not listed, e.g. duels. -> Please note that some of your builds are already in my database (see last screenshot for Ska as an example). Use this to add them to your balance with 1-click. 3. Check your monthly balances. Easy. Issues: Just let me know in here or via PM. I will be glad to help out. Examples: my stuff for February monthly overview: adding stuff: licensing a ship: licensing a property Checking what the database suggests:
  10. Great build at first sight, really fitting into Nova Terreli. The baseplate seems a bit flat and empty, but on the other hand it's the lawn in front of a chapel, so why not? At second sight there are many great details and inspiring techniques. The way you attached the roof from both the interior as well as with the small white slopes stands out. The mini-minifigs in the front are a nice addition; actually all the front is. Bell and tower roof are also really well done. My favourite part is the round windows, the way you integrated them with upside-down arches and just how you built them overall (which I couldn't figure out entirely yet). Really just a great build overall. Love it. Storywise I would love to have some more background on what the church is used for? Is it an assembly hall for weddings etc.? Or are people actually performing some kind of religion here? And of course: Some well deserved money from the city treasury of Nova Terreli - everyone else please feel free to claim your prize money as well.
  11. This is a well earned 20 DBs to Capt Wolf. Román will hand them over soon. This means: * The first educational property this month in Nova Terreli will earn the builder 15 DBs. * The second educational property will earn 10 DBs. * The next art&culture property will earn 10 DBs. * and some more minor prices
  12. Come one, we are still Elsandolans, not the Wild Beasts of the Barbarian Islands... :) Great storytelling and an excellent presentation, keep it up and don't let the MRCA get you down - I am rooting for you in the next one. You deserve some DBs.
  13. Well yes, BoBS officially has its best build so far. We are done here. Just plain out amazing.
  14. What a fantastic palace - did you just build that one to get the challenge started or is it an older already existing image? Anyways, I love it!
  15. The River Port, Nova Terreli, large commerce (license will follow) Please don't forget to earn some free money for building Education, Art & Culture in Nova Terreli!
  16. Great idea, some very nice techniques and a ver solid execution and top presentation. Excellent build overall. My only suggestion would be to make it a bit less sterile, some broken cobbles on the road, some wood on the roof not fitting perfectly, maybe one crippled weed-plant (which is a lot smaller than the rest) etc. That, however, is the only critique!
  17. Island: Nellisa Settlement: Nova Terreli Location: River Port Licence-Type: Commerce (large) Owner: Román Esteban Fontonajo Román Esteban Fontonajo had long ago realised that while sending ships across the open sea towards other islands was crucial to his family's success in the new world, upholding transport and trade on the island of Nellisa was almost equally as important. The River Port in Nova Terreli at the shores of the Terreli River has been and is till today the single most important transportation hub towards the inner parts of the island. Román had started setting up his warehouse and many other buildings a long while ago in the heart of the River Port and still controls most commerce going on. Every day of the week a lot is going on in the river port of the glorious city of Nova Terreli. People are loading and unloading goods to the ships, and trade at the market stands of the crowded streets. Románs uncle Raphael views the city from the balcony of the warehouse besides a business partner of the family. Two soldiers in the service of Queen Annetta from Corrington arrive in a small rowing boat. As always there is a helping hand, welcoming the guests to the River Port. Román's brother Rialto Espada watches carefully. The Oleander officer seems a bit lost at the customs office, paying his toll. Román does know the value of toll for both his and the city's pockets. A wagoner is bringing some cotton from the plantations. Of course he is drinking while driving, as everyone should do. However some people, according to the looks on their faces and the knife in the boat waiting for them, can't be up to no good. Románs eldest Juan Alfonso Fontonajo rides through the streets, heading towards an important meeting ... While Román himself and his wife Clarissa Raltessa watch the scenery from the roof of their warehouse. The Nova Terreli River Port is key to the success of the Fontonajo family and the city of Nova Terreli
  18. So... instead of discussing, how is the status on those Mardier MOCs? Really looking forward towards them! :-)
  19. I personally think you have improved a lot since you started building here. Looking at this MOC I fell that both the overall quality of the MOC as well as the presentation are just at a lot higher standard now. Great job, keep improving like that! My favourite parts are the dear heads and the wardrobe.
  20. This shows lots of creativity, and the execution is pretty amazing for a 10-year-old. My favourite parts are the "foam" at the bottom of the waterfall as well the way she arranged the leafs on the ground.
  21. Inspiring inspiration for any building-site I might set up in the future.
  22. So beautiful, what a way to get started here. I personally would love to see more of the garden on the roof, but overall the build is just amazing. Thank you!
  23. The colourscheme is just... brilliant! Amazing build overall, just lovely.
  24. Nice story accompanied by a great two-layered build. I really like the flair of the underground scene.
  25. The sails are just great, like them a lot!
