  1. Great I'm so excited to see, but how will you decide whether to choose the dragline or the radical. Because the radical is the most anticipated and maybe the most liked but the dragline will realisticly do much better than the radical in the competition. The radical isn't crap, it's really good but there are so many other vehicles in the competition that might fare better than the supercars, this year its going to be very difficult for any of the supercars to make the top 3, and to even get there you will have to beat the likings of jereon ottens amazing alfa romeo and lipkos hot rod, but we will have to wait and see the final pics of the radical before I can define that statement. And also the dragline is a huge scale moc, and in this competition it seems that the way to get lots of votes is to build a huge scale realistic moc with striking functions, which puts your dragline against that artic equalizer by desert752. It's quite difficult looking at a perspective that a supercar will get more votes than a well executed huge scale vehicle like that. It's a huge gamble for you to pick one of the other; if you enter the radical and say that you came 4th place, then you will be restless with the thought that you could have made the top 3 with the dragline. But if you entered the dragline you would feel that the radical was a waste and doesn't serve much purpose because you probably liked it a bit more than the drag line. Either way good luck in the competition, but the problem is that you might not feel that happy entering one over the other. It's like having 2 wifes.
  2. Great work jereon ottens, I still can't get my head round that sequential mechanism on the gearbox.
  3. You want a video? you got it, here is part 3: The drive https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWi9zD7o_Ik
  4. Thank you for the compliment, but like I pointed out in the description of the video, the video was rushed and I literally was going out somewhere after I filmed. And I did film it before but the video maker I normally use got deleted when my laptop broke, and had to upload the video from my phone! :0 I was also desperate for a 4th function, and I didn't like the collapsed suspension because when I designed the suspension, it was pretty stiff. But the battery box and gearbox plus many panels used for the bodywork changed that. And also the motorized suspension could act as a chassis control/ anti-bodyroll control (not that the car will be going fast enough to create bodyroll XD) but like osuharding1 says about functions like that, "it's a neat feature". Also the only other option was to make a convertible, but I wanted to do that after the competition. I can't remember of the top of my head what you're building, but I remember viewing a TC6 topic by you, and I think I liked it. So good luck as well, and thank you for the feedback!
  5. Genuinely staggering, such a huge vehicle. Looks absolutely amazing.
  6. Finally got this car uploaded and posted in the entry topic, what a relief. I was panicing that I wouldn't make the deadlines. Here are some pictures:
  7. Finally uploaded my entry for TC6

  8. 20. Lamborghini Huracan Hello all This is my entry for TC6, the lamborghini huracan. It originally started in life as a semi-completed chassis for my mclaren p1 mk2 moc, but was completely redesigned for a 4wd supercar chassis, and the easiest 4wd supercar I thought of building would be the new lamborghini huracan (I say easy, due to the likings of the bugatti veyron, nissan gtr, lambo aventador, audi r8 which are all 4wd.) Here are the functions: Motorized functions include: -1 XL motor for drive -1 Servo motor for steering -1 L motor for changing gears -1 M motor for raising the left rear pushrod (because the battery box creates a vast bias on the suspension) Manual functions: - opening hood - linear actuated scissor doors - adjustable aero: adjustable spoiler angle, adjustable front splitter - working front lights Specifications: - Flat 10 engine Max rpm: 121.7 (max output torque 17.4N.cm to the engine) - 1.3KG - 0.004HP - 28.2N.cm of torque to the wheels - 3.08HP per ton Also the car features a flat 10 engine, running at speeds of the XL motor. The chassis was intensely developed in a period of almost 2 months to enclose many variants of the car such as the gearbox, engine, various suspension types and such, and to stay completely rigid even when the roof and engine cover are removed. The car also has 30 degree independent suspension in the front, and pushrod suspension in the rear inspired by the lamborghini aventador. Here are some pictures of the car: Discussion Topic Video (part 1 specs): https://www.youtube....kgHiaCdR_M9EUpA Video (part 2 functions): https://www.youtube....kgHiaCdR_M9EUpA Video (part 3 The drive): https://www.youtube....kgHiaCdR_M9EUpA Sorry that the video is not good quality, it's because the video maker software I normally use for uploading ALL my youtube videos, got deleted when my laptop broke, and downloading it won't work because it corrupts my laptop. And If I eventually found a solution, I wouldn't make the competition deadlines. I hope you like it, and thank you for viewing it!
  9. wow that looks amazing, despite not being completed, I hope the front turns out as good as the back. You've got the proportions spot on, everything is even to the real radical rxc shape. Good job.
  10. Great, I was worried that you dropped out of the competition.
  11. oh no, that is the second contestant that has dropped out, that I would potentially vote for. But the dragline is still a masterpiece and a great build. I never expected you to build such a high standard moc like that. I would expect that from a famous builder like jorgeopesi or jurgen krooshop. But realisticly the drag line would turn out more realistic than the radical would, and because no one has built a dragline for this contest, it makes it unique and could gain more votes than the radical. Because entering a supercar in this competition is a gamble even for me as well, because of hotting up supercars like jereon ottens alfa romeo and lipko's hot rod. But still good luck, I have no doubt that the outcome will be great for you.
  12. I agree, there is no point saying a moc isn't on point, if you're not going to have the courtesy to explain what is wrong with it. It's like campaigning for president, but you have no reason why you should be president. It's just ridiculous :\
  13. That I think, is the best looking wheel loader I have ever seen. It looks huge, and because of that it enforces it's realistic looks. Great job jorgeopesi!
  14. Oh no, I was really looking forward to see the fruition of this moc.
  15. It's irrelevant now because I don't want to buy any more parts yet anyway.
  16. Filming is half done, the car is complete though, hopefully I can post some pics on brickshelf tomorrow. And hopefully I can get the video edited on Friday, thus uploaded. It's features are an xl motor for drive, l motor for the 3 speed sequential gearbox, servo for steering and 1 m motor for raising the left rear pushrod suspension because the battery box makes the suspension slant to the left, but the linear actuator keeps it lifted. Also it features rear pushrod suspension inspired by the aventador, front 20 degree independent suspension. Scissor doors, manually adjustable aerodynamics including the spoiler and front splitter. Opening hood, free revving engine: Flat 10, lights, 4wd and I hope to pioneer a custom launch control function for the huracan after TC6. But I have been fiddling with this car for so long, constantly repairing and swapping gearboxes, sorting out the drivetrain and chassis and making the body look as good as I can possibly make it, that I don't want to do any further mods otherwise I might have to change other components of the car, and that can be dragged on for days.
  17. That looks fantastic, You're definitely getting my vote because you put alot of hard work, time and dedication into this moc. And the turn out of this model speaks for itself. This is a great model.
  18. That just looks amazing, I'm really happy to see that your hard work has payed off.
  19. Lovely shots, and staggering creation.
  20. I was supposed to do the filming today, but I was very sick. Hopefully I can get it posted before Friday. My moc practically done, a few tweeks may happen to make it a bit better.
