It was a bug with prices in the official shop. It is fixed now, at least in Polish version.

This is mini diorama I made for Polish LUG contest. The task was to build scene from the Star Wars universe. It had to be scene from movies or extended universe. Additional requirement was to fit it in 16x16 studs. I managed to finish Santa Palpatine Workshop's basement from the last post. I love Star Wars, but I wasn't really into LEGO SW. I think it is changing now. I really enjoyed building Imperial part of this MOC. And I am starting to feel disturbing need of getting more classic Star Wars trilogy minifigs. Brick bounty is Boat Hull Large Middle 8 x 16 x 2 1/3 with 5 Holes, Item No: 95227 and Imperial flagship is older type Boat Hull Large Middle 8 x 16 x 2 1/3 with 8 or 9 Holes, Item No: 2560 so you won't be able to join them with brick 2x4, but the size is the same Note that Imperial Flagship hull is Dark Brown, and Brick Bount is Reddish Brown.

Merry Christmas Movie. How to Catch Santa Claus.
Kalais replied to alexsplanet's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Good job, neat animation. But you got there some oddly-looking distortions in the background - behind the figs. Maybe from some trick with smoothing animation? It looks kinda weird. -
Awesome, I like the dark atmoshpere here, great design!

Christmas is coming! This is perfect time for my Lego X-mas creation. I present the Santa’s Workshop... umm, I mean Santa Emperor Palpatine's Workshop. You have no idea who is he? Go away and come back when you gain some knowledge. Naaa, just kidding. I hope you know this gentleman. Alright, let's cut to the chase. Enjoy the pictures! Batmobile I built appeared in two films by Tim Burton - Batman (1989) and Batman Returns (1992). Batman (1989) along with The Dark Knight (2008) is one of my favorite movies with the guy in black suit. Lego 6059 goes to Space - Stronghold with M:Tron and Blacktron
Kalais replied to Kalais's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Thx guys! :) Yeah, I wished that too :) Hahaha, that's true. But I wanted to keep it in official sets theme. M:Trons were like space explorers with no weapons. Anyway, they can get help from my other MOC ;) -
Lego set 6059 Knight's Stronghold was released in 1990. As a child I was dreaming about it. It was a bit more realistic dream because it was much cheaper then big castles. I always knew parents won't buy me big castle. It was outrageous expansive in post-communist Poland with crazy exchange rates usd/zloty. But there was small hope for smaller and cheaper 6059... Well, in the end, I never get big castle nor 6059. I was so crazy to get those big doors, black castle panels and of course those awesome knights. Thx :) Umm, let me think, the parts come from: Pirate sets: - http://rebrickable.c...-pirates-i-1989 - http://rebrickable.c...l-soldiers-1989 - http://rebrickable.c...l-soldiers-1989 - http://rebrickable.c...irates-iii-2015 Maybe some more, I am not sure, I keep all parts sorted by type, not by set. Not pirate sets: - http://rebrickable.c...ter-police-2014 (even 1 "pirate" is from this set :) ) - http://rebrickable.c...lego-movie-2014 And of course many parts come from Bricklink/Ebay etc. Atm. I have more loose parts then set parts. I am not really collecting sets (with some exceptions for nostalgic old sets and the sets I really, really like :) ). I am buying new sets mainly for parts I need. Like those 2 "not pirate" above. As sets they are not really good in my opinion. But for the parts and price I paid they were very good addition to my collection :)
