Not sure is this right forum, bu I guess it is kinda of "Everyday life in LEGO: The home of City, Friends and Modular Buildings". :) LEGO it not my only hobby. I spend a lot of my free time on mountain bikes. I love to ride in hard terrain, mountains etc. I managed to connect my two passions in 1 photo session. Enjoy! Maksym Kryvonis aka Crooked-nose, (1600 – 1648) was one of the Cossack leaders of Khmelnytsky Uprising. He also appears in "With Fire and Sword", a novel by Nobel-winning 19th century Polish author Henryk Sienkiewicz. My scene shows Kryvonis in the begining of battle against Polish Army near Żołte Wody in 1648. [SWEU] – Cat A- Rahn's Last Stand against the Dark Jedi
Kalais replied to Artizan's topic in Watto's Junkyard
I am late to the party ;) I see this is old topic but had to write - the characters are perfect. I remember playing this game for hours. I know every line from cutscenes lol, watched them like 23744985 times. SSD bridge is very nice designed too. Great job! -
I have 2 favourite sets, very, very, very small sets. 7200 for great minifigs and parts for MOCs. Also I got big sentiment for it. It was my 1st Star Wars set, a gift from friend. I was at Dark Age back then, but loved Star Wars. Still have it, in perfect condition. and 2-nd favourite set is: 75078 because it is infinite source of stormies :) And usefull parts from the ship too. Just hate those stud blasters. If the set come with regular minifig blaster it would be perfect. But it is still awesome.

Funny and good review :) I always wondered wouldn't those Shuttles (the 1 from the review and ucs) look better/more accurate in LBG instead of white? http://i.imgur.com/3MAHgD1.png

As MOCer, not sets collector I join to those who are disappointed with this set. I won't add anything new to the topic, I just agree - to many "small sets" in 1 big set, lack of one big structure. Also not looking as UCS quality. And no interesting/unique parts for MOCing. But there is 1 good thing. Saved money on not-buying this set ;)

Hello! This project took me around 1 month to finish. One month for 50'ish seconds movie. That includes 5 days of actual shooting. Thinking, planning, writing, editing, montage and of course building took the rest of that time. Warning! I suggest to watch movie before continue reading because text contains spoilers. Ah, and it might be worth to watch 2 times, because action is pretty fast and can be hard to notice all the flavors. [MOC] Emperor's Throne Room in Kenner Micro Collection style.
Kalais replied to BaronSat's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I like it. Good capture of SW atmosphere, pleasant to eye. Good job! I do the same :) It is another fun challenge during building to avoid super expansive bricks and keep build interesting :) -

[MOC] Vader kills Admiral Harkov - scene from Tie Fighter game
Kalais replied to Kalais's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thx guys :) About shot no.2 I made it... but it was not satisfied with it. I was making it 31 December (before new years party and contest deadline) and had no time to re-shot it again :/ In fact I am not really happy with those photos but I had literally no time for making them. It is miracle I've done it before 2016 ;) I thought maybe doing it again few days later but I was in big need for bricks for my other project and I dissembled this MOC already. But new one is worth it ;) Star Wars: On the board of the smuggler's vessel by Bricks' Treasure, on Flickr -

Hmm, I like it. It has better shapes than official set, but it is a bit to massive I think. Very good job tho!
