One day experiment with a large figure. It is a Blood Orc. My own design. It is not based on any known Orc. No identification with actual persons (living or deceased), is intended or should be inferred. ;) I built it with the bricks I just had around. Some time ago there was a day when I wanted just to build something. Pure spontaneous freestyle building. I had not much available bricks because there were already 2 dioramas waiting for photo session and some WIP models waiting for final touches. I looked into available parts and decided to start building in Pirates theme. Hi, this is my another brickfilm for LEGO contest (my other films here - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQ0_shPKG5mgCoZ89Ww56U5OxeztWkOrs). 45 second max duration. This time the goal was to show rebuilding of any Creator 3in1 set model. Either another one from the official set or your own original model. Of course I took second option :) Read more Link to movie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uB9kqH380n4 Bigger photos and full story here: LEGO Gallery - [BRICKFILM] LEGO 31025 Mountain Hut goes Castle Follow my new MOCs and articles at: Facebook | Flickr | Google+ --- Notice: This is a shortened version of the post from LEGO Blog - Bricks' Treasure.

Hi all, this is not sci-fi work, but as requirements in contest I post in this forum. So we got here Crusaders running to their fortress from the Undead scourge. They are trying to open doors with the key. Noone is inside, noone can help them. Will they get into fortress? Not many left alive... Thanks :) You are both right with the doors.. But when I realized that, it was to late. The building was goin' to the LEGO event next day and it was to late to rebuild it. Doors should be much wider (maybe same as the ones on the roof) but it would be hard to fit them in current windows layout. So I abandoned my desire to change it because it wasn't looking like a quick change ;)

Kalais replied to Kalais's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Thanks :) Yeah, need lot of time and mainly patience to make stop motions ;) But with every film I take less and less time. Just need practice a lot :) Good luck! Thanks :) Yup, 30 sec is really, really short. I had to dump few scenes because just couldn't fit them into such a short time Thanks :) Yeah, awesome achievement. I am so happy :) Thanks guys!- 10 replies

I built this car a few months ago but I couldn't bring myself to take photos. Now the cycling season is over. I mean good weather is over... It is raining and/or snowing all the time. I was afraid I have to wait for winter gone to make finally those pictures I was thinking about... Awesome! Thx for that info! I just read that interview. Veeery interesting. I thought LEGO designers had much more freedom in the 70-80s tho. P.S. Lego Minifigure Patent drawing by Jens Nygaard Knudsen :)

It is store in Warsaw, Poland. It is licensed store. Not real LEGO store because you can't get there vip points but they got PAB wall. I visited it also but I had no problem with filling stud in cup tho. Noone in store was complaining about it.

Hello, I was wondering who is the designer of the original minifigure? I think, like probably, lot of us :) it so brilliant idea. Minifigs are just awesome :) I am curious is he/she designed any other famous things. So far I found only info that first minifigs were released in 1975 (non-moving ones) and in 1978 was first release of sets with "real" minifigs. But who designed them? P.S. First ever released minifigs from 1978:
