  1. I already slipped up in an earlier post saying one of them were dead. If it is out there, it is better to make everyone aware of it, because I don't think the chances of several scum that communicates would have missed it. Being overly cautious have not gotten the town anywhere. Nor have spilling information. But pressuring me into making errors have helped the scum. Of the essential code Vasquez got one part (1 and 17). Seamus got one part (+2). Bock got one part (confirmation page, order of confirmed). The other ones, 4 of 2, Nathan and Paul each got a part with 2 of the ones getting the code, so it would be taken up in public. This was assuming Clementine and/or Laura was scum, and to rule out it being ignored or turned around in case I had sent the code to scum. They also got a list of the concerns that needed to be raised, but I decided that I could post them in public without revealing anything. Vasquez was murdered, so it didn't work at all. Also I did not get killed, and one of the concerned(read the PMs I posted) got killed but turned up town.Correction not Paul, Diamond Dodd.
  2. I wrote my reply before I had read the whole thread. We just happened to have the same opinion. Yeah, I inserted a comment above when reasoning that Clem is the closest to verified person we have to claim to. Before that you were, well the only other one that have been a candidate for claiming to. It ended with you agreeing that you were probably townies. Can everybody try to chill down. Bock, everyone can't be the godfather. This paranoia started on day 1. There is not many left that has not been accused of being the godfather by now.
  3. Taking things out of context, that always works doesn't it? He stayed home. He/she, whatever. Clementine did nothing night one. Clementine stayed home. According to the Tracker. Yeah, like one wrong lynch and a scum kill, for instance. No, it was not said clearly. The closest is Mingas post: I see you have been quoting PMs later on in the thread, but I will answer your soup, one ingredient at a time. I did not want to reveal anything here. It is better that I get lynched than giving the scum any more info. I did not trust anybody at the time. Not her, not you. I will now post the PMs between me and the claimed tracker, leaving names out of it for now. Decide if this sounds scummy yourselves. I recieved the first one after I called the claimed tracker out for something else:Tracker I know this is going to sound as suspicious as anything but I promise you I am the Town Tracker, I tracked Clementine last night and she stayed at home. Don't tell anyone on the Day thread. Me: Is that why you are practicly invisible. Because you have a PR? I won't tell anyone in the day thread, at least yet, since that would be megablocking stupid if you are. But why do you say this to me? So I should lay of you, or lay of Clementine? You are right it sounds suspicious. But it also does not make total sense that Clementine is scum. I have not made up my mind yet, and I have been out all day since you sent this message, so I have a lot of catching up to do in the day thread. I almost lost my train because I was about to reply, but I won't hold That against you. Tracker: First off sorry about your train, but anyway there's a lot of things in your post that need to be addressed, whether Clem is scum or not is beyond me, he claims to be the back up, which, as I've stated in the day thread is an odd thing to do in public and could be a gesture to make himself look town. Now to your second point, why you?, to be honest you are the only person I trust in that day thread as you've made a lot of helpful townie posts, but anyway, catch up on the day thread, and see what you have to say. also, are you in contact with any other players? specifically any PR's, because if you are it would be very helpful to make contact. Me: No, you are the only one that have contacted me. If someone else contacts me, I can't tell you who it is. I trust my own instincts, and I have to read and find the weaknesses myself. A lot of times going through the posts and views of others posts. Going back and reading a lot of posts over and over again is exausting. I may paraphrase wording and not mention names if someone else contact me. At least until I find someone I trust on my own analysis. I don't trust you at the moment. I am wary of Minga, because her compiling of info is worded very biased, I was going through all the votes placed and looked at the reasoning for the votes, and I did not concur with all the biases. That you also pick up her as suspicious is interesting. Clementine is a hard case, even if he have come with some good points, I have a problem seeing how people could ever could trust him especially with all the strange godfather suspicions. Several tracker reports to make sure he stays home are needed from a confirmed town tracker. And there was one post pointing out weaknesses in this as well, since the scum could arrange their kill around Clems gained backuprole. If he is backup. I have a problem to see how I can trust anyone, except my own gut feeling combined with applying critical thinking when reading posts. If it smells like fish, it's probably fish, until proved female genitalia. Me again: Thank you though for seeing that my posts raises valid points to adress. Although my suspicion of you (on code orange, among others) makes me second guess if my "helpful townie posts" are on track. It may be my negative thinking reaching critical mass, but holy shaite this game messes with your head. If Clem is inheriting PR he should be watched, if he is not to hot to touch by the mafia right now. (heheh, not to hot to touch <- I should write lyrics to that one.) Tracker: Yep, mafia certainly messes with you! Clem is an odd one, claiming in public is just - , however the tracking result did say that she stayed at home and did nothing. Me: Yeah, but if he is godfather, based on him trying to lead people to believe Seamus is godfather, and others proposing to claim to either clem or seamus, and then 4 of 2 asking people to claim to her. I think you, if you are town should find the alignment cop, then you can confirm eachother, combined with a role cop to confirm both of you. If you have the role you claim going that way would make a good basis for the town block. I don't know. Ok, I can see how that one caused confusion. Typo. It was meant to be: NOT intended to make the town block. followed by: . Obviously it went horribly wrong. Satisfied? I have mentioned the implications with this. Clementine. If he trusts you, he can tell you who the other on is. Yeah I should not have mentioned one of them was dead. When I said Clementine is X, I forgot that it would mean the tracker was dead. I was hoping it was overlooked. I'm new, but don't hang me for being inexperienced. or verifying town. doh. It was obvious in my head, but I sometimes forget to spell everything out. No, Clementine is X. I used X to mask the names, but now it is crucial to get a town block together, and after Laura the tracker died, he is the closest to being verified from a reliable source. That's why we should claim to him. I was contacted by Laura claiming tracker. Clementine was contacted by someone saying they had a result on him. Are you trying not to understand? Is everyone else as confused as Seamus?
  4. I listened to your advice Seamus, and appreciated it, but it had flaws. So I created my own version. It was brilliant at the time, but it did not work since Vasquez, who were also given a part of the code got killed. It did however work in a way that indicates that you and 4 of 2 are working together. Well, at least someone are. The code does not matter anymore since I am alive and I've said who X is, and why he is the only reasonably verified person. I have been suspicious to everyone, much like you and everyone else.
  5. Where did I say that the 4 of 2 did not get a part of the code? I asked you for advice on how to go about creating a code and you suggested giving one person one part of the code, and another one the other. How would that make sure it was being looked into when no one was confirmed or likely town? You, 4 of 2 and Bock are obviously close friends....I thought maybe Bock was the most likely to be town, but this makes me wonder. Especially since all the dead so far are town.
  6. I don't think I can give more positive feedback to you Snaillad, after the Piazza Maria. It was the pinnacle of Lego realism. But ok, this is nice too. The feel and smell of old gas stations is petrol head magic. Nice streamlined art deco. Favorite parts of the build: The tower, the pumps, the car although I find the hood a little flat (but I see that it is to emphasize the lines of the chassis lines to the headlights). And the vespa, nice touch.
  7. Who is suggesting claiming to Clem? Minga claims wardrobe designer and ask people to claim to her.Claim to Minga? Naaah.... Msr Wardrobe Designer, claiming a role that is clearly noted :Host note: "Self-assigned comical "night-actions" have been ruled as not actions at all in any practical sense. Not a role. It's a night action. No role is mentioned. Trying you can use that role to verify yourself? What are you talking about?! I am still cathing up, I write as I read, seeing as I forget a lot I react to along the way. It will be a mess of impressions from now on. Paul seems like scum. Like scum waving a flag and signaling with a flashlight: Look ever here! Read on, I have skimmed at leat one page forward and have noticed a few things about the spots where the light never shines (You all know where that is).. I sent out a code at the end of day 2 to identify the tracker claimer and X (formerly known as the make up artist). I survived, so now is the time to bring up the subject. The code plan obviously failed, since one of the persons getting a part of the main code died (Vasquez). I got a response from Seamus about the code saying Bock and 4 of 2 also recieved the code, but he did not mention the others that were informed of their parts. So Seamus, Bock and 4 of 2 are involved with eachother one way or the other. This quote was inserted when I finally catched up at post #89. The ones having the code was intended to start the town block. The code was intended to dig deeper into someone that I acted in a way that was very scummy. Not that it would mean they were scum, but if they were not, they would be a good start of a town block. So they needed to be cleared. Unfortunately one of them were killed by scum, an overeager vig or a SK with bad antennas. The code should find out who the two persons I had PM'd with was, for further investigations and/or lynching. Now one of them has gone of to the great grassland with endless carrot fields, and the other one is Clementine. X is Clementine. Which brings me to those concerns. We were probably contacted by two different people both claiming to have a read on Clementine. I don't know what the claim about him from the other person was, but the tracker said he stayed home the first night. Although this does not clear him, and there is still a lot that bugs me, he is the only one that has a report that is at least not contradicting his claimed role (night 1 result). I had him at SK for quite a while, but the way he played if he was not protected or had a redirector(?) it was a dangerous move. But remember his option was most likely be to get lynched. I still think it is a better bet than claiming to Minga. I hope not to many have claimed to her. Good assumption. Are you just bragging? This is hard to counter. because the probability of someone have been clared by someone that are not dead by now or vice versa is small. I do believe of the following reason that Minga may be the right person to claim to. (2nd or third viewing of page 2 post 28. Why? Both are dependent on taking down scum. Their aim have been off target but I am narrowing down the list and will try to get somewhere before the day ends. Yes, it is ballsy, but so far it has worked, despite all odds. I Notice that Minga and Clemente is playing a tight game. (reached post 60#)Basically nonsense from here out, but I did notice that the quarrel between Minga, Seamus and Clementine ended quite abruptly with Minga and Seamus crediting eachother as town because they were the ones arguing, and Clem following suit. I don't think all of these are town. Because I've been of and on? I've been trying to read up any time I had available, but I must admit I have also been checking the town forum. Is there anything else that is unclear that I have not answered through the comments above?
  8. Who doesn't like a good musical, if they ever make one
  9. Try this one: http://thelegocarblog.com/tag/land-rover/
  10. Very nice, I am thinking of making something similar, but much smaller as a local museum displaying artifacts found in my town and exhibitions with how they believe it was in the middle age (castle/knights) and colonial times (pirates theme soldiers and pirates). I am thinking about what industries are running my town, and are thinking a wharf/fishing, natural resources, former strategic point of interest and in modern times tourism have taken a more prominent role. I really like how your solution and it is an inspiration for my own attempt (thank you especially for the window display, reception and the upstairs minifig displays in particular). I will probably notice more as I keep looking at your build.
  11. 1) I will try to speak, and I think possibly I only have 3/4 of a day left. One is a tracker, and he tracked one person. I don't know if or what role that person have. One possibility I am thinking is perhaps SK, although I do not know how big the chances for that are, and the game mechanics enough. There are more issues that nags me. If I die tonight, there are at least two people that will become compromised. I will work diligently to convey this to someone I think I can trust before the night starts.2) I am not believing it straight away because of several reasons. The biggest ones are timing (I got the "tracker" PM after I raised concerns about this person in the day thread. I did not go public with someone claiming to me straight away though. The other of the main concerns is the fishing for names to get in contact with other PRs. And there have been raised other concerns in public regarding the one that was tracked. 3) It took time because I was first a while after going through and posting my Minga vote report, and reading through the new comments that came while I worked on it. I also tried to make it so either one of the characters could not be recognized by deduction skills alone, and not. And let me just repeat to make it perfectly clear: The "make up artist (no correlation to pictures, let's call him X from now on to avoid confusion) was the target for the one claiming tracker. 1) No. He tracked one person not targeting anyone.2) I am trying, it was around 4 am when you asked me to stick around for a freakin minute, and I had been on this for about 6 hours today, quite possibly more. I can only do so much in a day, and I won't lose my partner and job because of EB. Sorry, mate, but that is where I draw the line. As I said in the end of my play, I am Actor 2 in that scenario. There are 3 persons involved, including myself.1) Myself. 2) The "tracker". 3) And the alleged target for the tracker, person X (formerly known as the make up artist). Djeez, how hard can it be. Is everything clear now. And I have not spoiled anything? Sorry for the inconsistency in numbering answers on answers from the first two posts, and the numbering of people in the last post, but it made more sense in numbering the people that way.
  12. Yeah, the space worms was me paraphrasing flattery. I don't know why I were the only one the tracker could trust, the reason was that I apparently have made a lot of helpful town posts in the trackers eyes. I have doubts about both of them, mostly because of their convenient timing, but the flattery and asking to get in contact with others... That is making my scumdar tick. .
  13. One claiming tracker (there, it's out there), and claiming he had a result on the make up artist (no clues in the pictures, purely coincidental choice of actor-related person to stick to the theme in my fabulous play, but obviously no one appreciates art nowadays).
  14. It is paraphrasing for a role. In the setting I paraphrased in, It was the first thing I thought of, when I chose Actors as the senders. I DO!
  15. The make up artist also contacted me. I have to place my vote. I have a problem with deciding if one or both of them are scum, but both plausible townies, and good as a town block base if confirmed. I am unsure of strategy here, so I will vote for someone I think is scum. I don't have time to write the full reasoning right now (but I will do it if asked), based on many posts it wrote throughout. Vote: Claw (TheLazyChicken).
  16. Surely, I agree with that it is odd to claim to me, since this is my first game and I would likely screw things up. Which I may be doing by blurting this out. It could also be an attempt to play the noobs. Sorry for taking so long, I was going through Mingas post and her voting analysis. Here it is (with much bravado): The Tale! In a world gone madde, an actor claims the throne, and wants his make up artist to join the court. Actor 1: "Hi, I know I look like a black sheep but I have a role in this. I know stuff about the make up artist." Actor 2 (looks with dismay and suspicion at actor 1) "You lookalikea man. Have I been bothering you and you want me to stop? Why me?" Actor 1: "You bring up good advices and are good at spotting space worms. We should follow up on those sightings. It may save us from being devoured. Also in this void empty space of the unknown, you seem like the only one I can trust. Do you know any other actors? I would like to get in touch." Actor 2: "No. I won't." ... Actor 2: "None shall pass. Keep flattering me though". Actor 1: "Yeah man I hear you. However I know this one thing about the make up artist". Actor 2: "If you really are an actor, you should try a modeling agency and audition, and get a health check. They apparently need that every 30 days or sumfin." The End. All names are fictional, except Actor 2. That's my middle name.
  17. The whole Doc Wen case was so strange and the whole day was going in the direction that it was almost inevitable that Doc Wen got lynched because he had become a liability. That Harriet, Seamus, Laura and Bock provided limited reasoning are not strange. How do you even start recounting that days actions? The thing is that Laura and Bock had not been participating much, just briefly surfacing to vote. I agree with Rip that Wen was a liability to the town. That's a valid reason in itself after what went down that day. Nathan points out flaws in Doc Wens voting vs against someone he believed was town. Diamond follows up his own reasoning. Major Dave says his view of lynching to get rid of unhelpful space cadets got stronger because the points Nathan pointed out. Well, as long as others have pointed out reasons that make you suspicious it is nothing wrong with citing others, but repeating which parts you agree with would be helpful. Sometimes others just phrase it better. Paul provided little reasoning himself, except following up with wondering why Clementine did not vote for Wen when it could have saved his own bottoms. Hannah saying she wish she didn't have to had me alerted when she did it, but I think she meant it. The good Doctor Wen had a lot of us worried at the time. But also, distrustful. I can, contrary to what my shrink says, admit when I am wrong. Your analysis is good, there are only minor discrepansies from what I see now, although at the time I did not. Clark votes, I apparently cite Clarks post, but like Minga said that if Wen was scum it was very foul play indeed...Didn't you cast your vote and echoing my words after me? And I did not cite Clark, although I agreed with what he pointed out. (Nitpicking) This was what I was on the track about. Your fickle ways to hide yourself away from scrutiny. Ok, let's continue. Wen, well, self preservation. On the day 1 vote I can see Claws reasoning and it would in fact, like someone said that statistics have shown no lynch day 1 often gives more town wins (contrary to the things many have pointed out today about Claw. I will decide and cast my vote after I've done this). It's the wording that worries me. Vasques make good points on the day 1 votes. Then your vote. Why do you emphasize so much that you didn't see Vasques post until you had posted your vote? I do not see the connection to why it would matter? Is there something I am not getting or are you defending something that has not been brought up yet (that you obviously worry about)? Sad that you noticed that as you wrote, I would have loved to neg you with that. But now you kinda are in exile, so who does a little inter-racial breeding hurt? What happens on LI-420 stays on LI-420. Everyone playing. Yeeees, then we are on the same note. I did do it myself. This is the only time I managed to finish it though. If it smells fish, it's probably fish, until proven female genitalia.... (sorry about that, I could not let it pass). I thought I had posted a lot, but I realize I have in fact not. I have used a lot of time theorizing, and I don't add things until I think I have found things that are worth pointing out. I'll do it over and over again.
  18. First off: The above is how a post looks when quoting. All the quotes you have from me is gone. I had to copy paste to set things into perspective. I will try to be short on these comments, because Seamus are 1: the man with the most objective approach I've seen so far. 2. because of point 1, the person I have the most problem getting an initial vibe from. I found it very informative and good referance post for me to go through the voting posts, but also I already had suspicions about her, so I wanted to see if she just diverted focus away from herself. She put it forward in a way I felt was not objective and I wanted to look into both her way of seeing the Doc Wen votes. I also wanted a reference to go through the other votes. I am also learning mafia as I go, and want to get the most out of the experience, so seeing how experienced players go about to dig for info is a good source for learning quicker (although with my sceptical eye open. It is always open, so please aim another way, cause I've heard it hurts:P). These are all connected. A point does not become more valid by splitting it up into more parts. There are several reasons which I will explain in order: 1a) I just had to move to the old section of the facility for a while while the bureaucrat quarter is beeing rewiredless (I moved to my girlfriends grandmothers house IRL). The old section was in bad repair, so I had to fix impromptu solutions throughout, and had a leak of space radiation that had to be dealt with (Heavy rain, everything except 1 room on the ground floor is damaged). I have been ripping up the consoles (floors) in my dorm, so the leaks could be fixed and my nose is itching (I have astma and there is mold here from previous leaks). 1b) My whole family suddenly called for a hologram get together (My brothers and a lot of friends came to visit me for a surprise moving in party). This took a lot of my time, and I have had constant distractions after day 1. 2) I am struggling with reprograming after I recieved a memo that our filing system is incompatible with the new colony directive. (Although I have been a member in EB for a while, it is just the perhaps last half year I've been any active, mostly commenting on some awesome builds in the town forum and therefore I am new to this way of using the forum (quotes, etc, which I stated in the sign-ups (I believe)). I have a bad habit of overediting everything I write to make sure it conveys the right message. This is not agreeable with being dead tired. The small reply window at the bottom of the screen makes it hard to keep oriented while at the same time looking for the basis of your string of thought. I am also not an english native speaker, so I have to change the order of words and sentences for them to make sense. 3) Keeping up with the tempo of opinions, while going back an forth on opinions (based on what is beeing written as you speak/write) is making a mess out of everything. 4) I recieved a PM from someone I am highly suspicious of, with bold claims and suggestions that sound to naive(or cunning) to be true. This have had me preoccupied as well. 5) I have looked forward to starting my diplomatic mission on LI-420, to get away from my old life where I mostly read through fiction and cartoons of norse mythology. It is more of a transition than I ever imagined. I shall now provide an in depth analysis of the votes based on Mingas compilation of information, with comments. Please excuse me while I reread, rethinks and stall you further.
  19. I've been reading forever. It is getting late, and I keep rereading posts to check facts. I will comment on some I multiquoted, but there is more I am working out, but I have to take some things right now before I lose my trains of thought. Good. Science. It works. I kept an exxelfile logging all the posts until around voting day 1. I lost track trying to get everything that was going on. And I've been going back proofreading and trying to view posts with the mindset (based on their wording). It all takes time, but I am getting good info. Coming back to this one in some of the posts here: Why would it make us more likely to sucessfully catch scum? It adds confusion and keeps the federation from getting a base, while the scum plucks away hairs in their furry soup. I was going to pick on this one, and I had some points showing that the wording in the compilation were very leading, but the post I wrote disappeared, and going over it one more time seems alright as to the bandwagoning suspicions, and there are a few suspicious votes. At least for the Dr.Wen votes. I think it was the Clementine votes that had me wondering as to why there would not be scum there (especially because I have found you smelling a bit fishy, which I have already voiced. But I always double check my facts), and the two separate votes I felt had good enough reasoning at least for a day 1 vote. It was mentioned that it was statistically good odds of a town win with no lynch day 1, and this strengthens the separate votes. Well yeah, but you also a leading compilation of information. I may be nitpicking, but that's what I do. You have to read back on what I am replying to, and what that is based on. I was accused of not contributing. I don't think that's fair, I use a lot of time reading, rereading, trying to see posts with others view to see if I have missed something, and finding weaknesses. I have voiced many concerns, while pointing out why they are concerns, not just pointing the finger to see if they put their hands up. The amount of information is a bit overwhelming though. I lost track on my exxelsheet by voting day 1, just to keep up with things. I feel you are trying your best at throwing distractions in the way, but I rely on my own deduction skills so far, and I don't see anything discriminating about your posts at first glance, except the voting post (see below). It's good to use critical thinking, but I don't see you looking for scum tells other than the occasional superficial prodding, and trying to catch people on the basis that they argues for their points. Here, the one you're voting for suggests claiming to Seamus, you use that for your vote reasoning, and you suggest to do the same?! There is some inconsistency here that ticks with me. I agree that it would be hard to trust Clem and take a lot of time and resources to confirm him. And even then it would be hard to be sure. Seamus mentioned several others that have been just as (or about as) quiet, although I am not ready to go full scale witch hunt on the quiet types just yet. There are many good leads to go on still. Why should legitimate vanillas claim vanilla to Clementine? That is bonkers. It would not help the federation. But it would help the scum team focusing on the remaining PRs, if he is scum. Wouldn't vanillas LYING and claiming PR's be better, because it would give watchers a possibility to see if the claimees got a visit after claiming. Either way it is not a very good plan and helpful pro-federation thinking. Your logic is flawed in my eye.I regret that I didn't get the chance to ask Doc Wen what was up before he died. Missed out on the most obvious joke And slightly ashamed of my humor... I'm not done. But it's 02:35 here now, and I am way over sane awake time. Signing in tomorrow by lunch time.
  20. Ohh... I would buy MANY of these if it were an available set.I could mod and make a whole factory area with basis in this set. Second Kristel and Chilis comments. Clean tight design.
  21. Well, she also reveals how she sees why they chose to. That is information right there. I got a new perspective to try and look with. Perhaps Mingas perspective is valid, perhaps not. I see Laura Starbucks leapt into action as I was writing and checking my facts. Still not much effort to come up with suggestions/suspicions. I think she may be panicking. Worth to look into. Brain hurts. I gotta shut my eye.
  22. I am trying. I suggested block/investigate Wen, and I provided my reasoning. And he turned town. I thought Clementine, and we don't know if he is a backup yet. I think your analysis were interesting and I had to read their voting posts. While trying to locate Laura Starbucks votes I had a problem finding them, and had to search the system search database (forum) by entering codeword: Tariq J. The posts were empty, no subjects, not helpful for the town at all. This strikes me as suspicious. I wish Laura Starbucks could just fill in Personell form 113X44b.(Can everyone please add their name into their signature? I get confused and of the subject when I have to waste time finding Major piratedaves from Callmetinypies, and don't confuse players from characters. It's distracting).
  23. That was very interesting read. Could you do the same summary on the Clementine votes? I see a lot of information. On basis of this summary of your reasoning, Hannah screams out to me for not almost not saying anything about anyone. Laura and Bock for their "let's make him look quilty" way of putting their votes. I must reread if I see their posts the same way you do.
  24. If scum like to spread their votes, but there was only 2 others that had votes before, wouldn't that be too obvious? Or were they hoping more people joined in on their suspicion/reasoning? In my mind maybe 4 out of 2 or Clementine (whoever was first at nominating another one) could be Mafia, but not both. But, of course, they could be. But I think at most maybe 1 of them.
  25. What bricks did you use for the record player? I am struggling a bit to see in the picture.
