  1. Grazi. I do try to have that over the top Socialism flavor. Danke. I enjoy tongue in cheek humor with my nation.
  2. A radar antenna is not necessary. This could be a ground-to-ground missile battery. Nothing said it was a SAM site. Or, it could be remote from the radar to make it harder to target all aspects of the system.
  3. Nice trio of IFVs. I suggest using a different ground color than the vehicle to allow us to really get a feel for it. There's so much tan here, it all blends together.
  4. Heinrich Gesprächig - People's Democratic Socialist Republic of Eaststeinovania (PDSRE) ambassador The betrodden proletariat of the world seek equal opportunity to prosper. The goal of the glorious people of the PDSRE is to enable all minifigs their chance at living a life free of abuse, avarice, manipulation, or other constrains to their liberty. We advocate for the advancement of all minifigs, regardless of race, color, creed, national origin, sexual origin, or disability. We push for this worldwide and gladly extend the invitation for any nation to discuss policy with us to avoid unnecessary suffering and bloodshed. Our recent humanitarian efforts in the beleaguered nation of Soalon show our commitment to the downtrodden as we provided food, shelter, and re-established governmental oversight for much of Soalon.
  5. Recently, the PDSRE held a military parade for absolutely no good reason, in the capital city of Geilenbeck. Field Marshal B.I. Galkin oversaw the event from the balcony at the Supreme Presidium of the Glorious State. The ambassador to the Brick of Nations is directly on the Field Marshal's left. To the right is an Air Force commissar. Strange that such a lowly person would be in a prominent place. The first to pass by the glorious leader are the heads of the military branches. Note those on the balcony. Their position relative to Field Marshal Galkin is indicative of their current favor with the glorious leader. In order of the services (right to left), we have General Metzger, head of the Army; Admiral Utoplenny, leader of the Navy; General Vogel, commander of the Air Force; and General Nedostovernoy, in charge of the Border Guards. The infantry of the People's 1st Division gloriously marches along Stein Weg! Following the men of the infantry is the armoured corps. Thanks to @Mirror1810 for reminding me to have a crowd. I was working on my parade scene when the Deland Republic parade occured. Every minifig I could find with a red shirt patriotically joined in the mandatory fun as I modified the scene to have a second side.
  6. Good ambush, using the BoN humanitarian convoy as bait. I like the building and the dirt road.
  7. Might be a little late, but I found this gem yesterday in a used book store and picked it up. It's from the 1960's, but only a few pages in and I can tell it's a gem for Daylight (GS class mainly) info. Lots of great B&W photos from the Espee.
  8. Nicely done. Your sniper is well hidden in the gorgeous scenery.
  9. Nicely done. You captured the essence of the GE 44-ton locomotive. Integrating the motors in really adds to this MOC.
  10. Exceptional work recreating these coaches. The teaser on how you accomplished the chevrons is mind boggling. The bogies are great as others mentioned, and the ends are wonderful. Another perfect MOC.
  11. Quite the design. The external architecture is bold with the sloping section and the folds. Your internal details are great and really add to the building.
  12. Well done. The colors stand out well. Putting the landing pads out a ways helps with the tranquil vibe.
  13. Quite the ship you've built. Lots of details and the history is a welcomed bonus.
  14. The glorious proletariat of the PDSRE are staunchly against atomic, nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons! Pursuing and using such heinous weapons would count as Crimes Against Minifig and we would file charges of War Crimes with the Brick of Nations.
  15. Nicely done. I'm actually working on the same thing right now.
  16. Interesting missile battery. The size and shape of the bunker does look out of place next to the surrounding vegetation.
  17. Superb work on the assault gun. Your color use and combining various designs is well done. The scenery fits perfectly and creates a great overall image.
  18. But if you add enough non-Best Seller items to your PaB cart, they drop the crazy surcharge. As said, when my PaB order arrives, I'll let people know what I got.
  19. Not sure how to take all this. I have ordered the control switch before now in quantity to replace missing switches. I had no issues with getting them. As for the curved rail, that's a ripoff, even if it's a pack of 4. LEGO produces so many, they're like all the extra brick separators out there. As to the regular rail and the bundle, who knows. I saw that last week when they reopened the full Pick-A-Brick option and ordered 1 rail segment. We'll see how it goes. I'll agree that the control switch pieces and the straight rail are the only decently priced parts. Even the individual switches are nearly the cost of the full switch set 60238.
  20. History lesson and a good representation in 4-wide. Thanks for sharing.
  21. Not me. I carry my LEGO bag proudly from the store. Mini dolls, big-figs, dinos, none of that phases me. I do have a habit of not caring what other people think of me though. I've displayed LEGO at work for over a decade now. If others don't like it, that's on them. Not my problem/concern. If they want to make fun of me, I can easily turn it back at them.
  22. Both the Daylight and Colorado River are works of art by themselves. Put them together and you have a masterpiece. Kudos to everybody involved in making that opportunity happen.
  23. Clean lines and just the right amount of greebling. Perfect.
  24. Excellent work on the Batmobiles. I like your creative ways of making the 1989 version and Tumbler. Those are my favorite of the bunch. You are right, I don't remember the Batmobile from the George Clooney disaster. Judging from the model, that's a good thing.
  25. Looks great on display. The full consist is incredible. I like how you've got Katy there too. That's a gem for sure.
