I'm really happy to see it!! Thanks for all the hard work!!! Height: 36 cm (40,8 cm with aerials) Width: 24,8 cm (29,6 with mirrors) Length: 56,8 cm Weight: 5.9 Kg

Well, them are donors, I didn't use all the parts, but these sets are very useful for some parts, like red panels and beams, suspensions elements, motors...the truck is almost 4600 parts.

I like your choice, I look forward for this MOC! -
For what I remember, at the time, the main models that I used were 2 x 8070, 2x 8110, 2x 42000, a 8258 and a 9398, and probably some other parts from other sets. In addition I bought the XL Motors, Unimog tyres, some red panels and, more or less, 3,5m of pneumatic tubes. I agree with Blackbird, 2x 42029 could be a good start. At that time, I paid the same price of a 42029 only for some red 5x11 panels. Good News, Jantjeuh is almost at the end of the instructions test, I have to do some changes and some pics for be more clear, but we are even closer to the end.

Unfortunately no! But B Mollema has done a copy with different motors only by some picture that I have send to him. Maybe it's not easy, but if you want... Unfortunately no! I have only few pictures of the trailer and only in the early stages. I'm impressed, you deserve my admiration!! I love the amount of Led...unfortunately i have only 2 of them!

Thanks alot for the nice compliments, but, honestly, I think that I will loose against Madocca. Speacking of aesthetic, mechanic and performance, Madocca's pick-up is a couple steps over!

Thanks!! It seems that the improvements are very useful. Very cool and smart the remote gearbox command, a lot more realistic!! -
I'm impressed and interested! I like a lot the LED use! Just one thing, 4 shock absorbers on the first axle are too few, the cab weighs a lot. I'm waiting too, but we had some "time" problems during the test phase, simply there wasn't enough! I can say for sure that I'm the first that want to release this instructions. But I ask to be patience. Maybe it's possible to have the part list soon.

First of all, thanks to everybody for the nice comments! I'm a bit surprised, and obviously glad, by the fact that the most of you like the color scheme! It's funny why I choose the white only for the availability of curved panels in my spare parts, even if I had to manage the scarce amount of white beams. And for give a touch of "custom" look, I tried to integrate the new yellow rims....well, it seems to work! It use CV joints on all the wheels (the rear axle is based on the 42029) no lockable differentials and it's not really a feather, so no crawling attitude. That's why I focused more on speed than on torque. Now the gear ratio is 1:1,4, is possible to build with 1:4,2, but I think that the CV joints will slip, but I think that I will try. For the same reason (CV joints) the steering angle is not wonderful, but not so bad, the only thing is that, when the steering is completely turned, the frictions increase quite a bit. I'm planning to do instructions, I'm new in this argument, so I'm bit slow (my first, the Tractor Truck instruction, are not yet released ), but this Moc is smaller and more simple, just only why I haven't pneumatic tubes to draw.

Hello everyone !! This is my new Moc, a Custom 4x4 Pick-up, it isn't inspired by any real model, although it reminds me of some, but I don't know which one! I started some time ago to build a 4x4 where I used 2 RC Motors. To obtain good performance, I built it as a rc car ..... a chassis with a removable light silhouette that was mounted above it. It worked well, but I had some problems of interference in the system rc, and I was not able to make a good video without seeing an idiot running behind it at one meter away. So, waiting to buy two Lipo batteries, I decided to convert it to PF system (XL motors) and add some detail, since the first version was very simple to save some weight. So this is the result: It 'a 4x4 RC custom Pick up with three differentials and full independent suspensions. It has openable gull-wing doors via manual controls in the trunk, that's openable too, even the bonnet is openable with slowed opening. Under the bonnet, there is a fake working V8 engine with compressor on the top, some minor engine compartment details, like the battery or the radiator cap, and the complete exhaust lines. Even the interiors have a dashboard, pedals, gearbox command.... It uses a servo motor for steering and 2XL motors for drive. Lenght : 56 studs (44.8 cm) Width: 27 studs (21.6 cm) Height: 25 studs (20 cm) Weight: 2,1 kg I will add a video, hopefully during the Christmas holidays. I hope you enjoy! Yes it is a bit bigger but not so much, and yes it's 4WD. The front axle was the most challenging thing, I will show you how it's made. I tried several time to do a tracked vehicle and in many cases I was inspired by this "case" configuration ... but I failed miserably every single time! I had to improve some ability! I agree with you. He said to me exactly the same about the wheels, and he was a bit disappointed about this. Anyway, the Moc looks very pretty and with cool functions, it's to say that he used some stickers that help the aesthetic appearance.

hihihihi ... it's mine! You have to wait a bit for the pics, and a bit more for a video...I will try to do at least the pics before Christmas. The front...well, I don't know what exactly is, I didn't follow any particular model, but reminds also me of something ... but I can't figure out what...and probably you are right.

Hi to everybody! In the last weekend there was, in Merano, a small but nice Lego exposition. Between a lot of cool stuff, there was a Technic section, where I exposed my Tractor Truck and a new Moc, and where I saw a couple of interesting Mocs/Mods. This the pictures of them: iBrick Winter Edition 2014 by lucioswitch81, on Flickr iBrick Winter Edition 2014 by lucioswitch81, on Flickr iBrick Winter Edition 2014 by lucioswitch81, on Flickr iBrick Winter Edition 2014 by lucioswitch81, on Flickr iBrick Winter Edition 2014 by lucioswitch81, on Flickr iBrick Winter Edition 2014 by lucioswitch81, on Flickr I drove for an half hour my Truck and see all this smiling and astonished kids faces was my best personal prize.

Congratulations to the winners and not! Great Contest with plenty of interesting C-Models!!

Received my copy yesterday, my wife was fascinated by the various MOCs contained in this book and she she was very interested. I buyed, some times ago, the Unofficial Lego Technic Builder's Guide, interesting for me...but not much for my wife. She likes Lego, but she's not an AFOL and not a technician. So, I think that you reached the purpose of the book. I understand that there are so many wonderful Moc around the world that is impossible to do a single book, anyway every Moc inside the book deserve to be there. Great job to You, Sariel, and to all the Builders!

Sariel...do you know if the new transmission driving ring works with the double geared differential? -
Sorry for the misunderstanding!! I will say that in the future I will replace my AA Battery Box with the Lipo...in future Mocs!

Well, I'm not a great player...when I finish a Moc I play with it only for a while, I enjoy more to build than to play. So I don't really know how long you can play! When I shot the video, I assume that I played, more or less, an half hour. I used Duracell "Long Life Ultra Turbo Super Nuclear Power"....or something similar , I don't remember the commercial name. I found a good assortment at a good price, that's it. But I will buy 2 Lipo battery!
