  1. That did the trick! Everything downloaded just fine, although LDD took a little extra time to generate the building guide. Are these parts found in the basic kit or should I use the LDD Manager and upload a 'wanted list'? I hope to add this to my City scene and create a construction section near my train layout along with your City D11 Bulldozer.
  2. efferman, Your lxf files aren't working, I've downloaded via the link and I find it blank..............
  3. Your creations are pretty darn stout, unless they hit the floor, they stay together very well. I got enough parts to build ( I think ) two more of your creations, yes, I'll be happy to post pictures of those future cars when I have completed them. i found the Minifig "skates" very expensive, but I did purchase a pair for one of your cars, don't know which car will get these "exhaust pipes", lots of choices in your design collection. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=11253 These are great fun to build and bring to life.
  4. As I promised, pictures and some happy Guys.................. Keep 'em coming, I'll keep building.................
  5. You can count on me to post pictures of your creations in 'brick form'. I was able to build two of them with parts I already had in my MOC inventory, although I lacked the 1x2 curved slopes in completely finishing those two cars. Bricklink to the rescue, parts will arrive in a day or two. I noticed in some of your 'city cars', they use a "bracket" to be the car chassis, very clever. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=4732 I need to stock up on some of the wheel attachment bricks to chassis, I've used mine all up. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=4488 I've really enjoyed the building results, and the clever use of some common parts, used in entirely different way. If you keep 'designing', I'll promise to keep 'building'. The interesting thing I've noticed is, TLG can't even come close to match these beauties you have designed, keep up your great work.
  6. Thanks for the link and your information, this component appears pretty easy to set up. Is the diode sensor used to trigger the PC board and therefore control the two circuits? ( forgive my ignorance, I'm not too good with electronics, unless they are explained to me real well )
  7. Not to hijack this post but,................badbob001............that piano is beautiful. can you share any details about its' construction? btw..........are those 'panels' underneath the keyboard? Your construction appears very simple, I got to have one............. hmm............ build one
  8. imvanya, Thank-you very much for your various lxf files, all of your cars are fricking awesome. My imagination could never come up with these great designs, you can bet I'll have a bunch of 'em in my Lego City train layout. Looking forward to any new creations by you.................
  9. Hello All Builders, Here is an update on the progress of this beautiful train engine shed, I'm taking my time to enjoy the build................. My building tray won't let any piece hit the floor......... Here is where the Engine Shed will live its' life in my layout. I'll post more pictures as I progress, also thanks to.............. PeterPNL...........for such a great simple design. Yes, this is a little different from the original design, but I needed the machine shop to be "turned around" and located on the opposite wall for my layout.
  10. Thanks for your reply, I'll look into the information and 'bookmark' your website...............
  11. Alrighty then! No not really, I'm a little computer/electronic challenged. I've heard of this stuff before, but I'm clueless. Do you have any links on where I might learn about this idea in your train layout? Any help is appreciated.........
  12. AlmightyArjen, Can you possibly explain how you did the electrical components of this system. I have those very crossing arms and made a simple micro-motor driven mechanism ( rubber bands & pulleys ) inside a small structure, along with the old fashioned 1x4 light plate. One direction of current and both lights come on, when the voltage is hooked up in a reverse order you get alternating flashing lights, just like the real RR Crossing. Currently I just use a reversing switch and operate this by hand, when I feel like it! Forgot to add, I love your Coal Train............
  13. Might I suggest you change your Internet provider, I had trouble using those idiots too. They responded to me that "the internet provider hosting Designer-Hans' website has spam security issues". So we as customers can't connect to a Lego Toy website? I have since ( over a year ago ) changed to Verizon, no troubles at all.
  14. I 2nd that, my software updated. I noticing that in the beginning it showed "downloading patch", then the "downloading bricks" approx. 5 times, then "updating" itself. Finally the program started and ( drum roll please )...............it DIDN'T CRASH!
  15. I'm very pleased to announce that LDD is once again working properly. ( for me ) I'm a little computer challenged, so I thought to download this program ( older version ) from a reliable 2nd party, after clearing out the former software from my Laptop. I really don't know if this made a difference or not, but the good thing was after downloading the software and then hitting 'running', the software prompts to load a .8 version and it begins by showing "Loading Patch", then it shows "Loading Bricks", I think 5 times. Then after "Updating" the program finally starts and it DOES'NT CRASH!!! Hooray, I'm a very happy camper, now back to building...........
  16. Fellow Builders, Are you guys running on the new update? I've removed the software three times, hoping that the new 'fix' has been loaded when I attempt to download the software again. I've been waiting for this 'fix' to materialize sometime very soon, I've plenty of building to do, but can't get this software to keep from crashing every time I try to open. Are there any links to the 'fixed' software, or do I need to be patient and try some other day?
  17. OMG! I got on this morning to build a new MOC............aahhh........... nothing is working, it just crashes after a 'boot-up'. I even took out the program and reloaded it again, still crashes................ I hope that this will be able to get fixed...........
  18. efferman, Thanks for your hard work and sharing your lxf files on this creation. What were the parts not available in ( yellow ), if that was your original color? I'm hunting for these parts in my inventory now, hope I can find good White pieces.
  19. technicfan, Be sure to check Rebrickable as Ingmar said. Rebrickable is showing the new #'s for these bands, not to trump Ingmars post above, these are what you're looking for; http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=x37 Also you'll need; http://www.bricklink...gItem.asp?P=x71, hope that helps.
  20. I hope it works out for you to be able to have/offer a "budget version" as well as a "pimp your ride" choice in building your creations. The problem for me is all of your trucks are gorgeous, I just need deeper pockets, so I can build every one. This is the reason I asked about the other trucks you will be releasing in the future. Both of the trucks I asked about have very different build/body styles and the difference of all displayed together ( with your other trucks ) would look "Jaw Dropping Awesome". I'm currently Bricklink-ing all the needed parts for this trailer now, I'm looking forward to building. Like Lundgren has said, "you can't have enough of your trucks" ( and trailers ), the more the better I say.
  21. That's a great idea, a parts pack of additional Chrome pieces would be really nice, as an option to "pimp" your designs with the American style of Chrome add on. I for one would like to see you redesign the USTruck 8 or USTruck 12, I've already saved those white rims for the wheels of this truck ( future build ), hopefully some day.
  22. Ingmar, My friend, you have answered my long awaited wishes. Thank-you so much for all your hard work in redesigning and publicly releasing these BI. You know what truck will be hooked-up to this creation................my Desert Angel.............I'll be demonstrating this pair of MOCs at next years Brickworld Indy show. Now you know where I'll be using that grill/bar in TAN, got to keep my log load from shifting into my trucks cab! To make this trailer look even better, I'll be building the frame color as it is, but the rest will be TAN..................should look really great together.
  23. jorgeopesi, My vote would be your Cat 797B, it would look and function well with sheos' Terex400 Excavator. Besides both models are Minifig scale. My future plans are for a diorama of excavating/mining site, this would be perfect.
  24. PeterPNL, First of all thank-you for your lxf files. I've gathered every part and am waiting to finish some home improvement projects. ( This helps keep the wife happy ) I'm adding this to my train layout, which I'm getting ready for the Brickworld Indy show in March of 2015. I have only two diesels, but they can take turns getting their maintenance and then back to pulling coaches or stock freight. The Gray base plate in my pictures of my '9 Volt Train Layout' ( in my Bricksafe gallery ) shows where this will be located, I'll post pictures when I have completed this great looking single engine train shed.
  25. Thanks dr_spock, I've thought about showing this new train ( my first MOC ), but sometimes life wants full attention and things get delayed. I promise I'll post better pictures of my Amtrak Train.
