  1. Yes Sir, it is his loader. It performed very well and the public really liked the ' swing loader ' function. I'd get right next to Hans' Dump truck, then swing the bucket to drop the Lego boulders. ( I had great fun demonstrating all models )
  2. Here's my version of a new load for your truck and trailer................... A favorite at the Brickworld Indy, thanks for the BI and parts list..........
  3. Currently gathering parts for this 2nd Truck of yours. While I was displaying your 1st truck and trailer, someone recognized your MOC at the show. This gentleman said he was also gathering parts for this truck, so now you know there will be two of these creations In Indianapolis, Indiana, USA Keep designing, your 1st truck was extremely popular at the show and the best looking of any MOC, IMHO.
  4. Sheo as you can see I've finished your digging arm and used it in my display at Brickworld Indy this past weekend. I mounted it as a load on 2LegoOrNot2Legos' first truck and trailer. Now I need your BI and parts list to finish this great creation of yours. I will display this machine at a future Brickworld Show, thanks for sharing this. Future builder up close..............
  5. This past weekend I displayed at Brickworld Indy with your MKI version of this swing loader, it got quite a workout. The public enjoyed watching the loader get right next to Designer Hans' Dump truck, then I used the swingloader action to put the bucket right over the dump body, and dump the Lego boulders inside. The loader worked well, although the 8 tooth gear ( that controls the bucket tipping ) slid off the axle just enough to be out of alignment of the driving gears, for the bucket tip to not work. Otherwise this loader performed really well both days. A few of the other models used to demonstrate PF functions during the show, with future builder up close!
  6. I changed the " load " on your trailer and used this combination to demonstrate your MOC at Brickworld Indy this past weekend. This truck and trailer was one of the very best Lego MOCs' at this show, I constantly heard from the public oohhs, and ahaas. The public loved this truck. Then when I moved it under PF functions, well the comments were louder, then I opened the hood, I could hear the everyone's' jaws hitting the floor. Future US Truck T2 Lego builder getting up close.
  7. Yes Sir, Here ya go.................It is now is my favorite MOC...............enjoy As you can see, these covers could even help improve the looks of a Lego 'Flagship Kit'..............if you know what I mean
  8. Yes Sir, this will be upfront along with your fantastic Red, White, & Blue truck with the trailer in tow. It will have as a load consisting of Sheos' Front Shovel Excavator, the whole digging arm, should look really good.
  9. Cumulonimbus, As a suggestion I used a brand of paint called, Krylon, it sticks very well to this kind of plastic.
  10. Thanks Jim, I don't know why the link doesn't do what you were able to fix, did you get that...........
  11. Why yes I do............ Makes this MOC very pretty................
  12. Fellow Builders, Here are my wheels, painted and installed.......................very pretty addition in my book  These are mounted on M_longers' L580 loader
  13. Fellow Builders, Here's my version of this beautiful loader, with a few added non-Lego parts....................for you Lego die-hards, look away now you might like this.................. Here is a picture of the Non-Lego parts............................( effermans custom wheel covers ) More photos and details here http://bricksafe.com/pages/ritztoys enjoy!
  14. To all considering these custom parts........................................as they say, " Just Do It", you'll see you won't be disappointed. Here is an example of effermans' first wheel covers These are installed on M_longers L580 Loader, very pretty aren't they?
  15. Let them know one out of the four installed on the axle without too much difficulty, the other three needed help in cleaning out the axle hole.
  16. Yes, efferman there was some left-over printing material inside the axle hole, nothing too difficult to fix
  17. Thanks efferman for creating this part, OK guys I got my parts today, there was some "flashing" left over from printing in the axle hole. If you have a square profile ' needle file ', a few minutes cleaning the axle hole with the file is all it takes. The piece is a little' grainy ', but I figure after painting to match the Lego Yellow color, there probably won't be any grainy surface to be seen. ( I haven't painted this yet, so I'm guessing from my paint experience ) The imitation bolts all look good with good form and the part is flat with no twisting of any kind. This fits into the Unimog Wheels very well, it settles down inside the rim against the axle hub just fine. There is about 1/8" of rim showing after piece is pushed against axle hub. I can hardly wait to get this painted and installed on my L580 loader created by M_longer. Looks good in my book.................. Again, looks good........................
  18. efferman, Thanks so much for creating this custom part, the axle hole needs to cleaned up of the "flashing", left over from printing. A small square profile ' needle file ' will take care of the problem, looking forward to installing.
  19. Opps, wasn't paying attention I see request for 'extended boom' and jump right in trying to help a fellow builder................
  20. As you have done before...........beautiful truck, I'm printing off the parts list now. When I purchased parts for your first truck, I ordered extra parts of the ones that are hard to find and/or where unusual. I can't say I'll be building today, ( I will be gathering parts though ) but give me a few weeks.............this will look really good sitting next to your other re-released first truck and trailer.
  21. No problem, as I have heard you say! ( I will post 'before' and 'after' photos, so everyone can see the real product. )
  22. Check out the forum "42009 Extended Boom", go to post #45, there is a link for BI and additional parts required.
  23. Hey Guys, A little off topic, I got a delivery date for my wheel covers, hopefully here before the weekend. These should help any heavy equipment models look better, even Lego 'Flagship' kits.
  24. I don't know how popular those wheel covers are, but I did order four of them. I just finished M_longers L580 loader and thought that it would be a great addition to the beautiful looks of this MOC. I have some plastic covering rattle-can paint that matches the Lego Yellow really well. I will post pictures when I get them painted and installed.
