    Well, I love your creations, but I hate most of the lego chrome parts (I am NOT a purist at all). The first car looks good, the second, in my opinion has the worst colour I've ever seen, but the shape is very good. I will prefer it if only the engine was chromed, not all the car.

    I've broken 1 of my two knob gears just by pushing a motorized model (driven from a non geared M-motor) by hand 15 centimetres.

    I want to know how the endurance car will be! I've always wanted to make a GROUP C car and maybe I could mod it. Which features do you expect from it? I think it will have fake engine, openable doors (LMPs doors are not that easy to make), deatachable body, proper gearbox and suspension.

    Efferman, can't you use technic bricks, slopes and inverted slopes to make a right-sized ripper? Also I remember a bionicle part which really looked like a ripper.

    We are doing that here in Spain. Search for: HispaLUG LEGO Rampa Loca. There is a system, like the one used in tenis championships or football world cup on which players are eliminated until there is a final race and somebody wins. We compete for the longest distance (a part that flies counts, as long as it wasn't specifically designed to disasemble itself, but it started flying a in crash). We also have "beauty contests". There is a need for at least two wheels (one is not allowed) and some kind of human looking thing (mini, micro, technic or brickbuilt figure).
