  1. Or two 24t and one 8t for full speed and less torque than a broken micromotor. The problem is that I think that needs a bit more space so teeth do not touch the liftarms. I've heard something about a slighty redesigned 24t gear that fits in that small gap without touching the liftarms.
  2. I need to get some. They seem to be very rare. I hope there are some cheap ones in black.
  3. If the set was like the replica but with the new parts I think I will buy it.
  4. Why not simply use old high friction pins connected to the remote lever to keep the gear selected?
  5. Nope, and I asked for pics about 3 pages ago.
  6. Yes! I would also love to have them. It will be amazing if anyone could send them to me.
  7. Are the Arocs images still online? Some people have told me they could be find with a bit of research but I haven't found them after quite a bit of time of searching them. Maybe it is because I'm not English so I don't really know the best words to search.
  8. Still waiting for Tumbler tyres to appear in a Technic set...
  9. I've only built C-model of 9398 (Quad) by Jono Rocky.
  10. You should write those things in the Sbrick forum here: http://social.sbrick.com/forums/topic/4/future-hardware-addons
  11. Yes in fact I thougt it could be sarcasm but I was not sure :)
  12. Wow! As a F1 fan I know he did it great, it's easy to know which car does it represent (from up to down, left to right: Renault, Toyota, Honda, Jaguar, Sauber, Ferrari, Jordan). I think they're from the 2002 seanon but I'm not sure if they are all from the same season. EDIT: After thinking a lot which season it was, now I noticed it is said on the brickshelf folder...
  13. I hope they keep with the PF system at least for 10 years. Maybe they should start making V2 versions of many components (even if I think they are all OK) or designing new products (something for you, train fans, since you seem to dislike PF but I'm sure they're better than a old 9v system ungeared motor :P).Hope they keep producing the existing motors (maybe not the M-motor, since it has about the same speed the L-motor has and less torque and mounting points). I hope they keep the same plug. I think PF system is very well designed and it seems to be good enough for most of us even if there is still room for improvements. Also a new system will be a lot more expensive than a new motor. I think PF has a place in our hearts and is good enough to be kept in production. I must say this is the opinion of a Technic fan who knows nothing about trains. @andythenorth in my opnion those are signs that lego still worries about the PF system and can spend some money. Do you think they will have redssigned the plug if they were going to stop producong PF? I don't thing so unless they are using the same plug for a compatible system. Sorry for my poor English.
  14. "We discovered this brand new interest area from fellow AFOLs who motivated a lot of people to get into this new realm of insanity at Brickfest 2005. Shows are usually done for public display of these creations that both the fans and hobbists love to watch." Source: http://www.greatballcontraption.com/
  15. In that video GBC goes from 3:08 to the end. The "football game" at the start is called Techball. A GBC (Great Ball Contraption) is a group of machines (modules) designed to pick the balls and take them to the next machine in a complicated way. All the modules form a circle so the balls return to the start. This is an example of a very large GBC: All the modules follow some rules to be compatible but you can make them as simple or complicated as you want. It's a callenge for builders since balls phisics are not as predictable as they seem to be and they have to be running for hours without getting balls stuck anywhere in the module. Sorry for my poor English if there's something you don't understand I can try to explain you. EDIT: This is the GBC General Discussion topic: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=88296
  16. Lego won't produce anything related with the army.
  17. I think the Fox will win but if I was given the oportunity to choose one I think I will choose the Tatra (or maybe not, to get those XL motors :P)
  18. Wow! The B-model is even better than what I expected! Those headlights are very cool and seem to work very well and smoothly. Also it has less gaps than many B models and a cool livery.
  19. I would like them if you have time.
  20. I'm from Spain and I've only been to Andorra :'(
  21. Okay, bad luck I can't go to Valencia (if you bought it there) or I'll pick two
  22. Well we have specific discussion topics for other sets.
  23. Jim, won't it be better to move all this things to a new "42038 (if I remember the name correctly) opinion topic"
