  1. I’ve heard the saying “married your hobbies” but, this is taking it a little too literally ?
  2. Thank you. It's obvious now you point it out. I can also make them out on the box now I know where to look.
  3. Forgive me if I've missed this somewhere but, where do the outrigger spreader plates get stowed when not in use?
  4. Looks like a nice set. The B-model is a refreshing step up from some of the dodgy offerings over the years.
  5. First impression is ... very colourful build! I'll say no more  As to the set overall, it's definitely on the wishlist. PS: Great review @Jim, many thanks for all the hard work and dedication to the cause.
  6. Great pictures as always. I'm sold on this set now. It will be in my collection before too long.
  7. Great. Really looking forward to seeing them ?
  8. @pagicence I can relate to your logic but, you seem to ignore the Porsche GT3 with respect your argument regarding rarity. In general, I would prefer the Technic theme to explore something other than so called supercars. I am in the camp that would prefer supercars to be the remit of Creator, not Technic. I find them fairly boring mechanically, regardless of how pretty the real things may be. Technic should take on the challenge of replicating interesting and novel (to Lego) mechanisms, rather than trying to replicate aesthetic lines and styling designed to perfect aerodynamics. Lego will never be a good medium for producing aerodynamic forms. If it was, we'd have it flying by now
  9. I read your opening line and then saw the first picture. If this isn't an Osprey then, I'd love to see you try to make one Really good lines and great functions.
  10. I’m quite looking forward to the 2H sets. Though budgets are tight this year.
  11. I love the grey and the yellow versions.
  12. I always enjoy seeing builds from the studded era. Really appreciate what could be done with such a limited palette of Technic pieces.
  13. I really like the look of this model. Im also in favour of Lego working on more concept type models, if they follow the the same principle of working with an OEM on the design. That will give the concepts credibility.
  14. Amazing! I love this MOC. The functions and build quality, such a compact model are outstanding. I'm glad that this is getting the nominations for HoF, it's exactly what technic should be about ... every piece being functional, with little to no pieces being included for appearance alone. I bow to your skill ...
  15. Great review, as ever @Jim Would never know its a less thorough review, by your own standards. One point that may need correction ... price per piece looks to be awry by a factor of 10? Edit: For the £ and $ figures at least.
  16. Excellent build. Impressive vision, to see this model forming from the pieces, when looking at the original A model.
  17. Loving to lines. Shame about the electrical tape though.
  18. I think this is more creator than anything. Definitely not model team.
  19. Great video of your solution. I like the compact nature of the storage. Where do you do most of your building?
  20. It would be interesting to know if the Sbrick and Buwuzz teams have any advance knowledge of such a change. I realise that we are unlikely to find out for a while but, it'll be an interesting discussion in 6 months time.
  21. Are you planning a manual pump or motorised compressor?
  22. It looks like you’ve got the proportions really well. I like it
  23. I really like these mini loops. This one is on my “to build” list
  24. I hadn’t even realised that the logo was a brick built item. Should have realised as much, I guess.
