Nice idea for a post, it was a really interesting and fun read. Interesting working fields (engineering, military, education and finance prevail so far) :) I am a freelance graphic designer specialized in logo design, identity design and branding.

Congratulations again for the effort and result. The motorized version of it was totally unexpected for me. :)

The cat sitting in my lap while I type says hi to you all of you and to all your pet friends :) Or meow. She totally ignores my bricks collection, but she is really interested in the boxes where I keep them. It seems that we are sharing different hobbies :p I grow with cats in my parent's house and I can't really say that I liked them... When I moved out on my own I was totally sure that I will take a dog or perhaps a chinchilla, but never a cat. Life had other plans for me it seems and few months later a small kitten was chased by dogs, kids and a few old people under the cars in front of my building. I ignored all the noise for hours until a friend came by and started kidding around that I should take it in. One thing leads to another I caught her (after a 45 minutes chase) and having a dog barking on my tails and an old woman chasing the dog with a stick I arrived at home with a fist size kitten. In the first night I could not sleep and neither could she. She stayed on my chest and she was so afraid of everything and anything that she stayed awake just to see what my intentions are. On the other hand even though she was very very little I was afraid that she may bite or do shits around the house (she did make some nasty wounds to my hands in the process of catching her). So after we stayed awake all night during the day sleep kicked in for both of us and I am not sure what happened, but I grown very fond of her and she of me. She was extremely scared of everything (and still somehow is even though 4 years already passed) and it was a difficult process to gain her trust, but I think that taking and keeping her was one of the best decisions I took in my life so far. :)

Struggled to take some photos to my first MOC made mostly out of black bricks. Struggled both indoor and outdoor using both natural and artificial light. I hope they will look decent... Visited the LEGO department in supermarket where I noticed that the 12 minifigures series are now on sale and then checked eurobricks for new content
