Lego Marvel Superheroes Game Announced
Vindicare replied to MattZitron's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Me neither. I ordered it back in May, but never got an email confirmation. I emailed them asking if my order had gone through, they said it had. Keeping my fingers crossed when the game shows up in a few weeks, Iron Patriot will be with it. -
Received my 10235(bought Saturday) from S@H. Got a nice little yellow envelope with the store employee polybag. Nice little surprise. Too bad he doesn't have the actual LEGO store uniform, but cool nonetheless.

Found two more variants, Superior Spider-Man 19 & Avengers.

Lego Marvel Superheroes Game Announced
Vindicare replied to MattZitron's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
What you just described is basically every video game franchise in existence. Mario, Call of Duty, Halo, Metal Gear Solid, the list goes n forever. That's what TT does, they make LEGO games. Use the same basic engine, just switch up the parts. -
It was either the Modulars or 10225 R2-D2. I typically take at least 2 days to build the big sets, depending on my mood, and fingers of course.

Saw Machete Kills. It was so bad it was good. A lot of...interesting deaths. Some good comedic moments.
-
I somewhat agree. I thought it was overall pretty slow. It had some great moments and was shot brilliantly. Maybe it was the lack of cast that made it feel slow... I enjoyed it, but in my eyes not really worth the buzz it's getting.
-
I'm in the Marvel camp. Being a huge Marvel fan to begin with, of course it's going to be the top. Seing all the footage I've never been this excited for a LEGO game...ever.
-
I think the issue with this may be(more or less) Hollywoods doing. More often than not an action movie revolves around the good guy saving the girl in some form or another.

Those windows are great. That lion insignia one, wow.

Amazing! Such a fantastic build, love the architecture. I'm curious as to the shady dealing between Yoda and Palpatine.

That's a bit too OCD for me. If the figs are carbon copies of each other, there really is no reason, or way of telling who came with which set. I would, however, with the CW clones vs. Episode(s) clones, because the heads are different. But, I store all my clones together anyways since I'm a clone army builder.

Reading(again) Catching Fire in anticipation for the movie. After that, I'll be starting the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy series.
-
Hmm... I suppose they could spin it that way, although Powerman doesn't have the Extremis virus. Interesting thought though. While unlikely, I'd like to see some Avengers cameos.
-
I think so. Considering he had Extremis in him, and they used it on multiple people, it makes sense. You answered your own question when you asked it. The guys name in the show is Mike Peterson, not Luke Cage. They're basically the same, not so sure about the impervious skin though...since he shielded his face. But, maybe he just hasn't figured that part out yet. Wonder how impervious skin would react when the Extremis virus decides to go nuclear...

Recently watch the anime movie Summer Wars. Great movie! Epic 'boss battle' towards the end. -
Phew, crisis averted.

Lego Marvel Superheroes Game Announced

Well, in my email from Walmart.com it said it "your item should arrive on 10/31/2013". -
So, I just heard that Bieber may be playing Robin. Really not sure what to think of that, if true. I'm not really hating on the kid I know he's done a few bit parts on TV. But, I just don't see Bieber when I picture Robin, especially when partnered with Affleck. On to Affleck. I don't get why people are giving him so much flak. Not every movie an actor does is gold. Daredevil was what...almost 20 years ago(give or take)?

It may not, but there is LotR sets released along with The Hobbit. So the Orthanc isn't so out of place or a step back. Whatever the case, I'd love any reason to get Harry Potter back. Although, from what I heard, this is something not really having to do with HP storyline. It's a different world/universe altogether. I haven't read the link, but the snippet on the news last week, that's what I gathered.

I keep tabs on imdb.com. They're pretty up-to-date on what's going on.

18 Lego Marvel Variants And The Originals They Are Parodying
Vindicare replied to Artifex's topic in LEGO Licensed
There's 21 total covers according to marvel.com. I hadn't heard of the number limit...25 sounds extremely low, however. That number wouldn't even cover the shops here in California. I would get them when/if you can. I was super excited seeing it on the shelf. -
18 Lego Marvel Variants And The Originals They Are Parodying
Vindicare replied to Artifex's topic in LEGO Licensed
Well, I managed to get a hold of one! It's the Mighty Avengers variant with Octavius unmasking Peter. Keeping my fingers crossed they continue getting them. Only bad thing, they had a TRU-esque mark up of $11 on it. So, one down...nineteen to go. -
This is the only hoarding that should be encouraged. I have about 20 unopened sets, that's due only because I don't have the space to store them properly. I use to keep my boxes. Once I hit the 300 set mark, I got rid of those. Instructions? Of course I keep those. Same with catalogs/Club mags.

Who else wants the minifigures sets back?
Vindicare replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I'd love to have those back. I had a bunch of them. I repurchased the Ninja one when I got out of my dark age. I've been looking at getting the Space one, with the M-Tron, Blacktrn and such.- 13 replies
