60060 Auto Transport- why is the box so bloody big?! I grabbed it and was a bit shocked, especially for a set of this size. Thought they were decreasing the sizes. 79012 Mirkwood Elf Army

Just got home from it...amazing. Quite possibly the most perfect movie ever to grace a theatre(unbiased opinion, of course). I loved every second. The floating part numbers were fantastic and the twist in the story was hilarious. I was especially happy to hear Bricksburg was the name of Emmetts town, as that's mine. I couldn't stop smiling during the entire movie. I kept panning the entire screen thinking to myself, "OH! Cool build". And one more thing....SPACESHIP!

Finally got the rest of my collection out of the storage locker. Now it's time to organize 6 big old' plastic bins.

Rogues there, assuming the cover means she's in the movie. Quicksilver looks...interesting. Without knowing his early days...was his costume always the onesie is it now a days? Maybe they're working off an early interpretation of his?

I've been known to swoosh some new vehicles about after they're built...how else are you going to know if you built it correctly? I also enjoy setting up little scenarios and such in my town layout...that sort of counts, I do imagine what goes on in there.

I don't imagine just because it's now an evergreen theme means we'll be seeing much more variety. Look at both City and, to a lesser extent fortunately, Star Wars. How often do we complain about all the fire/police sets popping up in City? Yes, about as much complaining about Batman is happening here. Just think of Batman/Spider-Man as Super Heroes police/fire line. Hell, even the repetitive nature of figs like Batman and such are seen in City as well. Assuming City is a mainstay of ones collection, theres plenty of blue/red striped 'flannel/plaid' pattern clad fellows or grey jacketed, purple scarfed females running around town. We just have to let the theme grow so we can see gems like 8404 Public Transport.

With the current Wolverine torso, given the new comic costumed hoodies,you could always use it in a City setting. I've seen Wolverine ones with the mask on the hood. You're welcome.

Another fantastic creation. I really like the cheese sloped roof, and that LEGO store is spot on! Who wouldn't want to live above a LEGO store?!

That's a great start. I know the feeling of getting each building in its right place to make it believable, just went through that with my Modulars. Now, I'm onto the Creator houses for the residential side of things.

Excellent base you have there. I can see the scary 'house on the hill' vibe from it. I'd like to do something along the same lines.

I am so excited for this movie, moreso than any kid who would be in the theatre at the same time. This will definitely be at least a two view movie, probably three.

To get those pins out, I use the nail file that's attached to some fingernail clippers. Those hinge pieces are used in just about every mech build over the last few years. I have a few from both Atlantis & Ninjao(among others I'm forgetting). -
These are fantastic! I've always liked the CubeDudes/Chibi style figures, and would love a Superheroes line of them available...my wallet hurts thinking about that though.

Great start! I see you've been browsing eBay a bit(Chilis/Taco Bell builds). I like the integration of the HP sets. The positioning of 10217 is pretty nice there. It looks slightly out of place among the Modulars, but the placement of the buildings like a little side street alcove is nice.
