If the speculation with the credit scenes from Thor: Dark World & GotG proves correct, that could very well be what happens. Beyond him being a founding member of the Guardians, I don't know much about Warlock. Does it seem like the MCU is picking from a certain universe or from multiple to build their universe? Do we know for sure?

Can you more knowledgable comic folks help straighten this out for me. After GotG I was looking up the Infinity Gems to learn more about them. I came across 2 photos with differing labels. Is it that theyre different per Universe(s)? Or have they changed over the years? I'm just going to put this here, while not quite in the same realm, it works. Without recalling which states the set was given out at, being in CA would've made it expensive/difficult to get to one of the grand openings of stores, much like gettng to SDCC(not such a grand scale),to get my hands on 3300003. I certainly don't think it's unfair that people in ____states got a chance to get this but I didn't. Same with the UK Olympic figs. The sooner collectors realize there's a very real chance you can't obtain everything in your particular field, the better the atmosphere will be. Does it suck? Hell yes it does. Should we be so upset by it that we want these exclusives to not happen anymore...not me.

The person(s) we should be pointing fingers at are the people paying the ridiculous prices. I know some here have paid them, sorry you have. But, if the scalers know they can get those prices for them, then they'll stay there. If we, as a community(which won't happen...) stop paying these stupid prices for them, it will go down. It will take a lot of time, but it will. If they can't move the product & have to keep reposting over & over, something's going to give. They're either going to take it down and give up or take less than they hoped for for it. This is more of a pipe dream sadly, because it's likely never to happen. Now, this is definitely a "me, me, me" entitlement mindset, to a degree. Asking TLG to halt these giveaways because you can't get them and therefore won't have 100% is beyond childish. I want Phoenix & Spider-Woman. That doesn't mean I don't think they should exist because I'm not going to pay the price for it.

That's a great point. The only sets I have out, for the most part, are bigger City/Creator sets for my town. Although, I do have a majority of sets in plastic containers as well as unopened sets. Ugh, this is so disappointing to hear. Oh the celebrity of LEGO ! Luckily for myself, I live in a quiet neighborhood & not many people even know of my collection.

Oh man, that's awesome! I know Caleb Raff's store very well. It's just down the road from my place. It's really crappy to hear all these stories popping up.

Yeah, saw the Scott McNairy photos of him with green screen socks. They're really stuffing a lot of new to movies characters in this movie.

What I don't get...is the "stuffing them in gift bags...walking out with them". Um...what? I've been to TRU many times, but never heard of walking out with a gift bag, much less full of stuff without being checked...

I type out LEGO. Simply, out of respect for the company. They're trying to keep it from becoming a blanket word, as others have said. Taking a few extra seconds, to capitalize all 4 letters isn't really that difficult. Since we're also getting all "proper" with the word, some say all caps look like an acronym...if that were the case, it'd be L.E.G.O. Analogy time! Say you meet someone who's name is David, and while it's perfectly acceptable to call someone with that name Dave, he would rather you call him David. Would you just ignore his request and call him Dave?

This would be me. I buy sets for the sets. Not really a completist, although I've bought a few, small ones luckily, just to finish off a line. I display quite a few things, right now it's the LEGO movie and a few Winter Village sets(as well as my large table town. At the moment it's about 20 sets). Other opened & previously built sets are then stored in plastic containers and put on shelves with the set number on it. I've got 24+/- unopened sets. Room is the biggest detractor for them being unopened. Had I not gotten back into(plunged, really)comics a few years ago it would be at least twice that...

I am. Been watching since the mid 80's. Still enjoy it, for the most part. Some stories are dumb. But, they can't all be winners.

Just saw in November, LEGO & DC are teaming up with variants to go along with the release of LEGO Batman 3 game. Unsure of how many & who. I've seen Superman, Green Lantern, & The Flash.

Guardians...amazing! I felt like a giddy little school girl at a few spots. I was listening for a few names to be mentioned, Carol Danvers and/or Sam Alexander, just hints at what could be. Plus, that soundtrack was great!

I heard that Jarvis is going into the body...not sure how big a role The Vision will have, maybe that's why he's where he is? It seems like that's not really the best place to put a newly introduced character, as they did with the twins. Which also makes me think The Vision may not be playing much of a role...which would be unfortunate for the sme of the Ultron story. I do have rather limited knowledge of it, but it seems to not matter much for this movie as they're changing it up from the comics anyways.

Oh my... I'm not getting all the unrest with Gadot being Wonder Woman... Maybe a bit on skinnier side(as I've heard a majority of the complaints being her frame), but it's not like Dianna is built like some steroided up female. I think she looks great, albeit tone deaf-much like Superman. It sounds a lot like all the hate(unfounded, in my opinion) of Affleck being chosen to play Batman.

I read it. To my recollection, there's not a lot of gore, just blood...not really any gruesome deaths or anything. So far, the storyline has involved drug cartels, for the most part. No nudity as of yet, and I don't recall much swearing that you wouldn't normally hear on TV and such.

Yeah, not sure about that either...why not just have Bucky do it? He's already on this new team. Apparently, why Thor is to be unworthy of Mjolnir will be known in Original Sin. If they wanted to introduce a new female character into Thors world, why not just use Angela, like they have been. It seems as though theyre heading in that direction with Original Sin Tie In(3.1). The new 'Superior' Iron Man, don't know much about it, but I like where the story in Iron Man is now and if theyre ending it for Superior...I don't know.

I'm excited for *hopefully* more Iron Patriot action. Loving the new looks for Cap/Iron Man & Ultron is looking menacing, with his creepy minions stalking in the background.

How about the two new moves by Marvel? Thor will soon be female & Sam Wilson will become Captain America.

Josh Gad was on the Tonight Show last night promoting "Wish I Was Here". In the clip he was at door of a couple bargaining the LEGO Death Star for 3 hours of babysitting.

The Purge. Overall it was a pretty good movie. Interesting, twisted premise. But, man oh man! was that family frustrating the crap out of me the whole movie! They needed to spend their money wiser and be better prepared.
