  1. Lets hope they fix B&P soon, I want to get started building an order :)
  2. If one of those new sets (or any other 2020 set) contains a Lamborghini, I dont care what the price is, I WILL buy it no matter what. Sill kicking myself that I was never able to get the yellow Lambo to go with the blue police Lambo I did buy.
  3. I sent feedback to Brickset asking if they could support filtering based on the "production" date range (i.e. show all parts that have a "production" date of 2019). That way I can go through all the 2019 parts and build a wish list which I then filter based on what B&P will actually sell me (in Australia) at the exact point I am doing the order.
  4. That Winnie the Pooh set looks like its impossible to pull off without a new head mold for Winnie (which is why it will probably not pas review)
  5. I agree that flat silver (as used on, say, the tin man axe in the LEGO Movie CMF series) would have looked a lot better than grey. But I suspect the large number of parts that would have needed to be made in that color (i.e. that aren't currently in production in that color) made it unviable to make it in flat silver.
  6. It seems to be working for me, I can see the interface, I can add things to my cart, I can checkout from B&P and I can go through to checkout in Shop @ Home (to the point I pick the shipping address anyway)
  7. How do you guys figure out what parts to order? Do you just go through the inventories of sets you know have good bits and search that way? If there was a way to filter the Brickset parts database (which comes from LEGO) based on the last year listed (so for this part https://brickset.com/parts/300101 the last year is 2019 meaning its still in production even though the first year is 1994) it would be perfect. I could filter the database by "parts with the last year listed = 2019" and only see parts used in a 2019 set (even if they weren't introduced in 2019). Then find anything there worth shortlisting and then repeat for 2018 and 2017 (and maybe a little further back if it makes sense). That way I am not looking at parts that haven't been seen in a set (or rather haven't been seen in an inventory that Brickset has scraped up) for years and are therefore not going to be available anymore.
  8. Its a cavalry soldier from The Lone Ranger. Also anyone know the viewpoint of the Dreamworld LEGO store when it comes to mixing parts (as others in this thread talk about)?
  9. I could see an ice cream parlor or soda fountain (or something that has both ice-cream and soda stuff as well as shakes and such) being a prefect fit for a modular. Put that on the ground floor with some other business we haven't had before (Comic Book Store? Optometrist? Bookshop? Arcade?) on the upper levels and (assuming they dont use colors I hate like the dark orange they used on the garage) I would buy one.
  10. Bought the Space people pack today and I love it. So many neat parts and you get a lot for the price (IMO its better value than the funfair pack because you get more pieces and more figs and both packs cost the same price here in Australia)
  11. For those interested in the City Space line but who can't (or don't want to) buy the 4-minifig special set, both exclusive parts (the rock piece and torso) are showing up as available on Bricks & Pieces along with most of the other neat bits from that line :)
  12. A few accessories I wish existed in the CMF line: (or in LEGO generally for that matter) More musical instruments like a violin or some brass instruments. (trumpet, trombone, tuba, horn, that sort of thing). Or how about a keytar? Pliers Jaws of Life (as used by fire and rescue teams, would be better than the circular saw piece they have used for that previously) Cricket Bat Golf putter Scalpel VR headset? Claw Hammer Bolt Cutters Paintbrush (not the artist kind, the house painting kind) One of those things doctors use to look inside your eyes and ears (not sure what its called)
  13. Does anyone know what sort of harvester the one in the harvester truck is meant to represent? Or does it not look like any real-world harvester style at all? (the stickers feature ears of corn so maybe its a corn harvester)
  14. Your wish seems to have come true thanks to Toy Story 4. (if you don't mind the color)
  15. A Batman vehicle (regardless of size/style) wouldn't be part of the Creator Expert line in any case, it would be part of the Batman line.
  16. I hope they DO release another Donald Duck so I can actually get one without paying the high prices on the aftermarket :)
  17. Not sure if its been suggested here before but I would like to see the shoulder bag piece in black. I would also like to see a new yellow head with both facial hair (beard and moustache) and a pair of sunglasses since (AFAIK) no such head exists. And I would like to see this hair piece https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=87990 in black (it technically already exists in black but only in a nearly impossible-to-get Toys R Us Bricktober pack and an even more impossible-to-get Team GB Judo Fighter) but I want to see it in a regular release set.
  18. I suspect ultimately the Stargate stuff is not suitable for Ideas across the board (regardless of what it is or where in the universe it fits) and that the Stargate projects currently up there are an anomaly (and would never pass review even if they hit 10k)
  19. Parts from the new Lunar Lander are listed and for sale as well including the gold radar dish, gold corner tile and gold 1x1 tile. Also most of the interesting parts (except the figs) from Steamboat Willie are listed for sale (1928 tile, sheet music tile, SS Willie tile, guitar, bird, black windscreen, black left+right curved slopes and potato print brick). I suspect if you bought the figs from the CMF line and had a big enough collection already, you could get all the unique parts for the Steamboat from Bricks & Pieces and build it without buying the whole set and save some money (I am considering doing exactly that when I get around to doing a Bricks & Pieces order)
  20. I want something new, not something we have seen in the past like deep sea divers or harbor/coast guard (although a Farm theme would be nice, we haven't seen that in ages and they could introduce more farm animals such as a sheep or a new/re-issued goat) An "Outback Explorers" theme would be a great fit for City (if they can go to the jungle, the arctic and outer space, why not the Australian Outback?). Kangaroos. Emus. Camels. A Ute.
  21. I think at this point its clear LEGO have abandoned the long legs and arms (if they were going to bring them back they would have done it for the new Toy Story sets).
  22. Bought the Lunar Lander from the Dreamworld LEGO store today. It looks great on my coffee table (potential candidate for best set of 2019 IMO) and while it would have been nice to have printed parts instead of stickers and better minifig parts (better helmet/backpack stuff, better looking heads) that would have pushed up the cost even more and the set is expensive enough.
  23. Probably not allowed to be sold because of licensing...
  24. I am surprised POTC isn't on the list of "themes not allowed on Ideas due to existing licenses" since they already have the license for POTC (and would likely get a license for sets for any new movie if/when it comes out)
  25. Added the San Francisco Skyline to my collection recently (won it at a club event) and its really good. I love how they did the forced perspective for the Golden Gate Bridge.
