That's really cool. Such interesting build ideas. The tower in yellow looks great, even though every fibre in my body says it shouldn't. Nice work.

Great idea and nicely executed.

Hi. My daughter and I created this scene from the Disney Princess set 41052 'Ariels Magical Kiss'. Hope you like it. Mike

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
3BrickFriends replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I haven't bought anything on double points yet because I've been buying so much clearance sets at 50% off from other stores I don't think the postal service could cope! -
Thanks for the comments 'sithewok' and 'viracocha'. Shame you don't have the photos of your wife's build.

Hi. This is an Ice Cream Counter stall I built with my daughter for our Horse Show Layout. Let me know what you think. Mike

Awesome building. Love the blue and white combination. The washing machines are very cool.
-
Looks nice. Clean lines and simple colours. Love the gear mechanism.

The palm trees look awesome. I've been trying to perfect that look for ages, but not got them that good yet. Also love the hearts on the pavement. Please post pictures of the other MOCs in your Heartlake city once they're done. Can't wait.
-
Even the tree looks 'bent'. Great work.
-
Great build. I love the paving and the 'natural-ness' of where everything has been put (guttering, fence, tvs, etc)
-
Thanks. It did but luckily I wasn't the one doing it! Worst thing about it was it looked too flat so we took loads up to put plates under. Lifting tiles is much harder than laying them.

You could put some black bricks behind the windows to give a mirrored effect from outside and mask that there isn't an interior.

Thanks for the comments. I am really proud of her. She's so young but has been building since she was 2 and is really good at put ideas into bricks. We each have our own skills and work well together. Thanks. It means a lot to my daughter and I that people like our creations.

That is a great photo of a great MOC. Nice work.

Beautiful build. Looks great against the original. 37 hours isn't long for such a large project.

My Lego City (Based on Minas tirith) First and second floor
3BrickFriends replied to Hectorin's topic in LEGO Town
I think the rainbow effect is what makes this build so interesting... don't sort the colours. Good work Hectorin -
My daughter and I are building a Horse Show layout, featuring many of the Lego Friends horse-related sets from the last few years. We've been documenting it on our YouTube channel. I thought you might like to see the main house from our latest video update. Full details of both the inside and outside are in the video. Thanks for reading the post. We are very keen to get people's opinion and comments on the building and layout. So any comments on this forum or on YouTube would be welcomed. Thanks, Mike

I love it when people adapt the modular sets. They are awesome buildings out of the box, but making them bigger is just cool.

I love it. I prefer going up in height purely because I have limited display space, but the GE building really needs height or width to make it great. I'm filling my double height GE interior at moment, its painful on cost compared to the actual building. Have you got your interior pieces yet?
