News The LEGO Movie: 70810 MetalBeard's Sea Cow
rockethead26 replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
We just got this set last night at the Lego Store. It looks like a lot of fun, but we won't get a chance to build it until after our move back to Flagstaff in 2 1/2 weeks. We wanted the Evil Lair and The Melting Room, too, but they were sold out.- 158 replies

Is there a new LEGO "Gentlemen's Club" release that we haven't heard about yet??? Have fun! -
My wife just found out about this from an AD in the local coupon magazine which we usually never look through. Got lucky, At the Indiana State Fairgrounds, March 8-9, 2014.

Hi and thanks for the welcome. We are definitely going to build a LEGO town with running trains based on the modulars, City and other Creator builds. We definitely want to design some of our own buildings as we get the techniques figured out. My first attempt may be the Slipher building at Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, AZ. Looking forward to years of fun.

This looks really nice. I'm new to LEGO and trains, but already own two PF trains. Can't wait to learn the required building techniques to do something like this.

This is an excellent modern building. Really well done!

This is really excellent with so many interesting details inside and out. As mentioned several times already, the signage is really special.

Hi everyone. My wife and I have been buying LEGO sets for our nieces and nephews for a few years and this year while shopping for Christmas presents, my wife decided to buy the VW T1 Camper Van kit for herself. Well we had soooo much fun that now we are totally addicted to LEGO. Since mid-January we have bought and built the Grand Emporium, The Pet Shop, Town Hall and the Maersk train. Waiting in the wings until after we move back to our home in Arizona at the end of March is the Palace Theater, the Haunted House and the Horizon Express train. We'll get the Parisian Restaurant after we get home. We see a town setup with train activity in our near future. Jeez are we hooked! Oh yeah, my wife has 2 complete sets of The Lego Movie minifigures, too. Going to see the movie this weekend. This is a great site and resource for newbies like ourselves. I've been lurking for a few weeks now and have been amazed at the MOCs we've seen. Looking forward to participating here.
