  1. I find that by breaking a large list up into two or more parts and traeting them separately, the program can find solutions easier. Of course, now you're dealing with 6-8 stores instead with the added shipping.
  2. Shine, Worked like a champ. Thanks again!
  3. Thanks again, guys. Did the mod and it works great. Much easier now.
  4. Excellent, Shine. I'll give that a try tomorrow. Your help is really appreciated.
  5. Thanks, Dr_Spock. I think I've got it.
  6. Shine, Thank you so much. I have no idea how that happened. I have to do the same with the entire 4 story building, could you tell me what you did to correct it?
  7. Hi folks, I have a problem where a building does not sit flat on the LDD grid. I cannot find a plate, tile or brick under the baseplate that would cause this. The building is attached along the front edge and nowhere else. It tilts up towards the rear. When I printed the building instructions, it was weird as it started at the top and worked downward as if the building had nothing to start on. I've attached the lxf file if anyone would care to take a look and help me figure this out. Thanks in advance!!!!! lord_business_evil_lair First Floor only.lxf
  8. ronenson, Being new to trains and just setting up my first PF system, I cannot quite tell what you've done. I understand what you accomplished, but don't understand how. How does pressing on the 1 x 2 studded plate transfer a push to the switch? Thanks, Jim
  9. Thanks for the update, Eric. I'm one of the KS supporters and am "patiently" awaiting my track, especially the straights.
  10. Eric, Any updates on the plastic track?
  11. Nothing wrong with my memory, it's just short!
  12. Never saw that comparison chart before. Thanks for posting the link!!!
  13. Just received my first BrickLink orders and wanted to confirm that the Lego Pick-a-Brick Bright Blue color is indeed the same as the BrickLink Blue. Thanks for everyone's help.
  14. I think that's a completely different color. Our bricks look exactly like the Lego site's bright blue. Thanks
  15. antp, Thanks for the confirmation. TheLegoDr, Thanks for the reply. I checked the 3 shades of Azure and all appear too light. I think gold ole blue is the bright blue.
  16. Yep, just bought the Cargo Train & got double points, free shipping and the 2nd Holiday Set. For the Holidays, this train will go around the Christmas tree, then become part of our Lego town.
  17. deraven, Thanks for the reply. I think you may be right about the regular blue. Nothing else looks close. The colors represented on the Lego site look more accurate to me than those on BrickLink, which exacerbates the issue. I'm only ordering about 30 bricks in that color, so if they're wrong, it's no big deal. Thanks again, Jim
  18. Can't seem to find the answer to this. We are attempting to match some bricks bought at the Pick-a-Brick wall at a Lego Store. On Lego's website, the color is called Bright Blue, but BrickLink has no such color. They have Med Blue which is definitely wrong and then the list "Blue" which I cannot reference anywhere. Could someone provide a little help? Trying to order some bricks for my wife for Christmas so she can finish a MOC. Thanks!
  19. Oh, too cool!
  20. Agree that we shouldn't hijack this thread any longer. As to the front door, I was going for the impression that this is a friendly, inviting corporation until you're taken upstairs. I really didn't model the building itself on the movie's version anyway. If I had, it would have to be much taller and black. I already posted one a couple of months ago on the Lego Town forum and I'll do any updates on that one. Cheers!
  21. Oh yeah, I remember that! How could I forget? Ok, a copy machine will be added. That's awesome! Thanks again!
  22. Yeah, you're right about the 1st floor. I need to double up on the window height. Thanks for the feedback. I kind of designed the street level before thinking how high the upper floors needed to be to contain the evil stuff. Does your copy machine comment reference something in the movie that I missed or was it just a suggestion to add some office equipment?
  23. I'm working on this and will start building it in bricks this winter. First floor is very "corporate", second floor contains the Melting Room and the third/fourth floor contains the Evil Lair. I don't have a third/fourth floor detail shot available, but you can see the Evil Lair apparatus thru the windows on the first image. Fifth floor will be a penthouse apartment.
  24. Awesome!!!!!
  25. Just got an update from Amazon that says my expected delivery date in Oct 2- Oct 6.
