[OL-FB1] KB's House in Breshaun
Kolonialbeamter replied to Capn Frank's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I am a generous god host Good job on that house, love it, great style and the colors are perfect for Oleon. Perfect fit for Breshaun Here you can see how Oleanders support each other. You forgot one thing though: the shed for all the colonial minions -

The Empire of Oleon: Sign-up and Discussion
Kolonialbeamter replied to Sebeus I's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
The High Council announces: By explicit request of His Majesty, the loyal subjects of the realm are encouraged to perform their civic duty by contributing to find a name for Oleon's newest colony in the Terraversa Sea. In his paternal wisdom, His Majesty has instructed the High Council to list a number of names, from which each of His Majesty's loyal subjects is to select the two they deem most fitting. His Majesty will then take these into account when making his decision. Zeus Island/Île de Zeus Saint Arltrees Triton's Isle/Île de Triton Isle of Tyche/Île de Tyche Isle of Aletheia/Île d'Aletheia Morpheus' Island So, from the list above, pick two names (note that the French and the English names will go side by side for 'official' use) and post them here! On Tuesday the 15th we will add the 'suggestions', and the High Council will proclaim the island's new name. Vive le Roi! -

[OL - MCRA] Exterminate!
Kolonialbeamter replied to Kolonialbeamter's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Thanks, BD. Unparalleled? Not so sure, still waiting for Dunkleosteus to sign up. As for pirate busters, well, the Reds captured more ships, but we got the largest Thanks, guys I'm also suprised the sails turned out that nicely. When I started I had no clue how to micro-build a proper gaff rig. Thank you very much, that means a lot Thanks a bunch Don't remember, however, where I picked up the idea with the binoculars. So credits to the unknown inventor! Thanks, Fuzzy. Got heavily inspired by Mike's 'Escape at Holders Rock'. Micro-scale sure makes good 'action'-builds Thank you, BrickOn Although, 67 baseplates would be much more impressive in real life. I'm just happy I don't have to store them physically Thanks, CB, old parrotmonger! The 'Tax Hog' is back in the shed. No idea what's next. Seems no nonsense this month- 11 replies

Kolonialbeamter replied to kaiju's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Yes, you did it! And see? Presentation improves immediately Is that Blender you're using? It's a nice fort, and its story is quite well told. It still has the 'ship-feel', and the rowboats fit in nicely. Good job, keep it up!- 5 replies

Ahoy, mateys! Fasten seatbelts, 'cause this time it's more than just kind of a likely story March, 616. During her recent trade voyage, 'La Recouvrance' made excellent business in the ports along her route. But as fortunate as this was for her owners, she would have almost also sealed her doom. Few things in these waters manage to travel faster than 'La Recouvrance', and it turned out that 'news' about potential prey does fall in that category. On her journey home notorious pirate Val Gibbons and his 'Roach' lied in wait. And he wasn't the only one: When 'La Recouvrance's escort - the mighty 'HRS Granoleon' - engaged another pirate vessel, the 'Roach' moved to intercept. On a fast warship as the 'Roach', chances for Gibbons were good to catch up with 'La Recouvrance' and seize her before her escort could intervene. What he did not consider, however, was the determination of Oleander gun crews and Royal Marines, as they made short work of the first attacking pirate, and now arrived just in time to - exterminate the 'Roach'. And the ships only: All three ships can be build, and designing them was tons of fun. I tried to represent the classifications for the 'HRS Granoleon' (Class 5 Heavy A) and the 'Roach' (Class 5 Light A) as close as possible, even the gun count should work out. The 'sea' is quite a large area (67 32x32 baseplates ), heavily draining my PC's recources. But no crash, so yeah, almost as fortunate as 'La Recouvrance' I hope you enjoyed this little story and these little ships, thanks for watching. C&C welcome! Vive le Roi!

[COR-FB2] Ship: the "Corland Provider"
Kolonialbeamter replied to Brickwolf's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
That's a ship living up to her name. I suggest to add more details, however, and include at least rudimentary rigging, since she's almost only a prefab hull. -
Suggestion to open a PM for the matters of this 'License Commission'. EDIT: Sea Rats welcome! Are the tasks of this 'Prize Court' meant to be combined with the above mentioned commission? Sorry, didn't quite follow the suggested procedures of this court. Selling licenses out of game by rolling a die, right?

[ESL-FB1] Please don't take it apart
Kolonialbeamter replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Ahh, when sand still was yellow... we must have grown old... Captain, this has it all: nostalgia, lookout barrel, monkey, strange dudes... Just have one thing to say: Please don't take it apart! Oh, and where is that other shady character, that scoundrel going by the name of 'CD'? Still don't know what that fellow looks like. And I'd love to shamelessly misuse gratefully include him into my creations- 21 replies

[OL - FB2] Visiting Aludra
Kolonialbeamter replied to robinnilsson403's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Superb creation! Splendid addition the the ever growing city of Breshaun. I really like the roof, the drain shows how advanced Oleander city planners are, intruiging story, and nice side action going on. Guess the paint is a hint to the 'true colors' of the spying dude. Great job! -
Wow! When you announced it I was intruiged. And seeing it now, it's just so much wow! This building is the literal middlefinger into the Reds' faces! Excellent job, and great story! Just wonder when the first 'Your mom!' jokes are being exchanged with Breshaun.
-
Really like this one! Love the feeling of the ancient ruins part Great story, and the microbuilds are a top addition. Keep it up!

[ESL - CH2 Cat A] Dedicated, Professional Soldiery
Kolonialbeamter replied to Phadeout's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Seems they got it all covered Well, a goog soldier knows when to recreate, right? Good job! Just... why is bathtub guy so mad at his banana? -
I'm repeating myself. I'm repeating myself. Selling licenses 'to the bank' is a good idea, getting them out of the game is like a shake-out, preventing the market to be flooded with cheap, unwanted licenses, which could result in 'The Great License Inflation of 617' Something completely else: Is anyone among you noble gentlefolks with Photoshop/Gimp knowledge and better nerves and more patience than me, willing to do some picture editing for me? Thing is, I'd like to have a number of seals (not the seal of approval, though) or sort of coat-of-arms or something like that. I can provide the 'content', I'm just not the right tool (pun intended) to turn that into something that actually looks nice. Here's what I got (just a sample): So the challenge would be to turn this flag into some shape that 'looks official'. Same pattern would then apply to more of these flags. It's also not flushed out completely, so I'm open for suggestions. I think I can spend some DB (15?) from my purse for that purpose, but only next month Any help would be appreciated. Just PM me! Thanks
