    Jay Sathe, Im more impressed and jealous of that huge table that you have to display those modular buildings. From your pictures I think the cinema palace would look better next to a different building. It just doesnt seem to look good next to the town hall.

    You should check the label on the back of your brick. Yep made in china lol. Contact Lego they should send you a replacement, I just hope you kept your billing info/receipt just in case. I always keep mind till im done building a set to make sure everything is ok.

    Now I know where by double vip points for march is going. This baby will be mine. Would be nice if they included a rare minifigure pilot even though it would be out of scale to the ship like they did with the r2d2.

    Any other exclusive set that is yet to be revealed would mostly likey go to the creator theme. Thats it for the lor this summer.

    I dont think the gas station will be part of this town set because that would mean that the set will go past the $150 mark. That would not be good business given that city is geared more towards kids. The gas station I think will be a stand alone like the garage set.

    I wont quite say that about the sailbarge though because its only the second version of this set and its not a UCS. Maybe admiral akbar's ship would of been a better option as the UCS keeping in line with the roj sets and something that was never done before.

    I think lego could of gone in a different direction im the UCS by doing a building like the jedi temple. You are right though, it makes the previous one meaningless.

    Quite nice indeed. I always wondered how tje steps would work with aspect ratio of the pyramid.

    This new x-wing is going on my christmas list. I was hoping that each wing would be double plated like in the new b-wing

    I guess the usage of black for the interior means that you are working with what pieces you have. I looks good. Is that section above the gate removable? and is the part with the windows a room?

    Can we even confirm that this is a real set and not just part of a display.

    Apart from the minifigures which are great, this theme is a refreshing surprise. We get a story behind the figures and several tribes instead of the usual two factions that are typical of lego sets. More over, the vehicles are impressive in that they look like animals and the various tribes which brings a sense of character to each tribe. The summer wave has shown the sets to be even grander and exciting as well as the introduction of new tribes to tease the pallet of lego fans. For years we have been demanding a greater variety of animals from the usual dog and cat from lego. They did one better and gabe us them in minifigure form. I do see bigger and brighter things for this theme as long as lego continue to fulfill our animal instincts and desires.

    I dont think you will get expansions for this set. The pins are there so that you can arrange the sections. Thats all.

    Impressive. This is what the new city fire station should of looked like. I like its very modern appearance and the big drive way.

    I hate that the lone ranger is in the calvary set because it means if you buy multiples to build an army you will end up with multiples of him. Since he is in practically every set, lego could of left him out of this one.

    I wish the cyborg maul had robotic arms as well. He just looks strange with those legs.

    Is that cannon in the front of the barge in the movie?....I don`t recall seeing it.

    I like that they included ladder for access to higher levels apart from the stairs.

    The sail barge looks quite nice from these new pictures.

    I remember a green minifigure that was said to be in the iron man 3 sets that the people at brickfair were not suppose to talk about. With these pictures that have been released does that mean its just a rumor.

    Speaking of gray, I do notice that the wall panels are plain in that there are no stickers. Is it possible that the model was put on display without wall sticker decals? Another point is that there is way too much blue. Even the catapult on the front tower has two blue pieces holding it down. It just looks odd and would of been better if they were brown. A trend i see Lego continues with is having the edges of the top half of the castle surrounded by a line of bricks that are one brick tall. When a minifigure stands he is quite visible and vulnerable. it would of been better to make it two bricks tall instead.
