Custom stickers take a lot of time so I try to avoid them (to make for people I mean, unless I really like them and can use it for my own town / trains too ;)). Apart from that those from OKBrickWorks look nice too. Always check a few things: make sure the are computer cut and printed on vinyl (not the decal water solvable stuff they use for normal model trains etc), vinyl is what LEGO also uses.

I think I wrote back (both two days ago on 4558 and yesterday too), but maybe my replies got in your spam?! Apart from that DameVeraLynn a few other things (not ministickers related): - welcome to Eurobricks, hope you will have a very good time here and enjoy speaking with other Train minded AFOLs. - this is a topic from 2016 you know, it would have been better to make a separate topic on this then. Greets JopieK.

Very nice hack, seems to me that you did a (Dutch) NS 17xx series locomotive? Making it a little longer would add to the realism. They are getting old, I experience them regularly while they draw / push DDAR trains (double deck material) and they now and then suffer from issues including high voltage switches that malfunction. N.b. heat shrink tube is also very cheap and would be a good way to ensure (maybe in combination with hot glue) that your LED's/resistors don't get ripped from the leads. Take about 1K I would say for driving the LEDs. Use the LED resistor calculators online that MAB pointed out indeed if you need more precision.

LEGO Photography: when is selling prints legal?
JopieK replied to General Magma's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Star Wars is licensed that might be the problem for LEGO. -
Aha that's the trick. Very smart! Good use of LEGO Technic parts :) Maybe you could even add an option to be able to connect the pantographs to the same axis then?

Adding a Banner Image to Profile Page
JopieK replied to Bricked1980's topic in Forum Information and Help
Well I can ask in the other staff but I think that is a correct notion :) (I could think of a few reasons that is done (technical [if it only works in the back end and the forum itself does not support it], load [if users all upload very large images], possible abuse scenarios)).- 16 replies

Marvelous design sheo, I think you could not have done a better job. How did you pull of the door mechanism (while still allowing the car to be removable). I also like the way you did the access to the interior.

Interesting. Indeed it seems they can be added but only from the Admin panel. I never noticed!- 16 replies

Great job Thunder, awesome Train! All those details. I especially like your head lights. Are you also going to build it for real? I guess some parts are not there in those colors yet, but you did a great job in showing how new parts including those round tiles are a large advantage for train builders. I also like the other trains and of course your Boston dynamics style robots on your Flickr.

Today Eurobricks and Train Tech enthusiast Sunder shared his very detailed and nicely colored 0-8-0 Tank locomotive: See his topic in Train Tech. Last Monday he already shared another marvel:

Hi Lister, welcome to EB. But please remember that we have some rules (see my signature), please re-read them. Don't bump and also be cautious to quote lots of images! Apart from that, hope you will have a good stay. Feel free to share your ideas about LEGO trains and other LEGO related things.

Great idea Paperinik77pk, bringing that 7720 to the PF Era.

They look really nice! My main concern with the basic LEGO baseplates is that they don't seem to fit the modular streets very well and the other brick solutions cost a humongous amount of bricks.

Ouch, it hurts my eyes. Modifications can be necessary but this goes a bit too far for my taste. @fred67: those supports would be nice for Lugbulk 2019 :)

Welcome to Eurobricks adobomovie, what kind of LEGO are you interested in most? Feel free to tell us more about yourself and while you do that don't forget that your keyboard has two shift keys and even a '.'-key to add dots to the end of your sentences.

Well, there are people doing that so have a look in the fora. A commercial party that does it is brickmania.

Hi Anne-Elizabeth, welcome to Eurobricks. Please read the rules. It is fine to promote your ideas and nice LEGO-complementary products, but don't just join to use Eurobricks as a billboard for your product.

It must be a the BB-8 head! The 2x2 dome is way too big. I use the 15395 for other lanterns though. Now hope LEGO picks up on producing the BB-8 heads in other colors including black :) I did not see it in LDD, but who knows what tool was used for it.

This nice LEGO ideas set has very nice outside lamp covers. Does anyone know what part it is (or did the designer create it):

lepin vs lego
JopieK replied to sirslayer's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hi sirslayer. Lepin does not seem to use IR but radio. That is why it works when the kid puts a cup over it. For real testing you will need much more than this. Apart from that this is Eurobrick where we discuss LEGO. If you are a Lepin fan that is ok, but then create a Lepin community site and don't do this a Eurobricks. It is like posting Android stuff at a site dedicated to Apple, so please read the rules over and over again and don't make topics on LEGO vs. Lepin or you get in serious trouble. For now I have locked this topic until e.g. Jim makes a decision about it.
