  1. Here you go: VOC headquarters
  2. Looks great indeed! Could fit right away in the parks. Why isn't there a LEGO park in Holland yet?! ;) It could replace Madurodam :)
  3. Very nice Jetflap. 7777 was a nice book in addition to the 12V system indeed.
  4. I don't have enough time next to my normal work, Ministickers and a start-up that we are working on, but I have once come up with a POC to also automate the train without modifications on the train site: you could add an IR LED to the signal that sends IR stop commands. Only thing is that it will be difficult to determine what stop command to send if you run with more trains. One solution would be to use NFC identification on the train, but that will be not for beginners, I did some successful testing with it. @Lowa looking forward to the kickstarter. Can't you also become an (open system) i-Brixs competitor?! Might include wireless charging of trains :)

Looks very nice. I only think that if you make every building in your town that size it will be time to rent an entire flat or something.
  6. Something like this (see 1000steine.de, I'm also a 1000steine member). I now see what you mean, you want to make trains without the official base? You could use a technic plate for that:
  7. There are monorail versions if that is what you mean?
  8. Hi Ben, Enjoy your stay. I would have put it like this: "I'm 29 and love trains and city and 80 space sets. Please feel free to chat with me, I'm in Australia.". About your questions on Instructions / LXF files. We have a separate forum that is all about digital tools. That is very helpful, I also use it often to get new ideas. Start of easy and than go from there.
  9. Looks really nice mouseketeer. Lovely idea!
  10. Ooh no... if I can help you with stickers... we don't carry a lot of Starwars though...
  11. You know that there are motor ports and sensor ports don't you? Well, the sensors work with a protocol (certain data format and connection type) that is called i2c, there are special tools that you can check i2c with, but that is really advanced and more for electrical engineers and embedded systems engineers (and I happen to be teaching in that directions).
  12. Can you be a little more specific? What programming environment are you using? Can you see any difference if you program them directly on the brick. Did you switch their ports? An advanced step could be to hook up a logic analyzer and check for i2c messages on the sensor bus but that is not really LEGO level I'm afraid.
  13. Hi Legoloco1737, please try to be imaginative and try to start using LDD yourself, we also have an excellent LDD sub forum with all kinds of experts on this. Also... this topic is quite old, 2013, don't wake up old topics unless there is a good reason for it, would have been better to start a new topic "LDD MOC: My attempts on a Thomas and Toby engine" or something and link to this topic in there. I'll lock the topic for now.
  14. Please take a look at the Site Guidelines about Ideas etc. Mric76. I merged your topic and I'll give you a warning for ignoring the rules.
  15. You could use the idea of the Faller driving system and make it a road train?!
  16. I tried to check it, "In general, WD-40 is a petroleum based lubricant and will not affect most general use plastics such as PVC, PP, HDPE or ABS." it indeed smells a lot like petroleum so maybe it isn't that bad for ABS after all.
  17. It is some kind of pre-mindstorms embedded computer to control and program motors. I always loved that thing. You could build a plotter etc with it.
  18. WD40 can corrode plastics afaik, maybe teflon spray would be a better choice?
  19. LEGO doesn't really care about the value of older sets/parts.
  20. Well Arkeeos, first: welcome to Eurobricks. I suggest you first WIP up something in LEGO digital designer, then you can see what you need.
  21. Nice Job Murdoch :) The pepperlanders will surely enjoy you omnibus ;)
  22. I tried to recreate the bus from 10259 and then thought it would be neat to also have a different livery, somewhat more like the English busses. And here is the render of the 'original' version. And here they are together. The drivers seem to have a casual chat about the weather road conditions or some other driver related thing :). Kudos to msx80 for his render tool! Works perfect on macOS Sierra, I used it to render the images. In here I have made some comments on what parts are different from 10259. I needed to guess for some parts, but I came quite close I think.
  23. Very nice build Brickviller V2. Looks amazing!
  24. Not the entire set yet, and some interpretation, but I think it is already pretty close to the images and the video that LEGO released.Due to LDD not having all parts (yet? I hope): - 32739 was replaced by 8x cheese slopes and a plate. - 27263 were replaced by 14719 - 18674 was replaced by 15535 (flower mounted reversed) - Prints on minifig and bus are also not accurate. B.t.w. @msx80 great job! The current version of your render tool works perfect on macOS Sierra (as seen above ;)). Here is a rendering of the creation. Here is the LXF.
  25. At least in Germany I know they have quite some AFOL social groups, they drink beer there so I doubt that they let children attend ;)
