  1. Loved that 8042 too, except for the hopeless design on the forklift. Everytime you tried to lift something the fork came apart .... Anyways welcome:)
  2. Those Fabuland figures always remind me of my kindergarten, nice memories Very nice town lay out and landscape!
  3. Very beautiful build! And an amazing Eiffel tower! I think it is the first time I have seen a whole country built in Lego I think you found some fine things people connect with France, at least for me Godt arbejde!
  4. This is crazy, just like beeing there yourself This brings back some awesome childhood memories, it was one of my favorite movies! lots and lots of cool details, hard to pick a favorite. The trees are definedly cool, and the explosion is awesome!
  5. I have a couple of ideas to put a tile there instead, I will give it a shot one day I love building trucks, you can get them pretty accurate with a lot of detail. I did a volvo too a few years ago http://www.mocpages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=324273&id=/user_images/80894/1337446021m_DISPLAY.jpg, they make really beautiful trucks mine still needs some details worked out, just rarely have the time to work on it
  6. Again a really nice front and back of the cab! You could change the 1x2 plate on the side of the bumper with one of those new 2x2 corner tiles, but I guess the bumper would not be separated from the cab. How you mounted the little antennas behind the cheese slopes is a nice detail, it matches the curves pretty well. A variation of the front might be excellent for a DAF as well. Awesome trailer by the way:)
  7. Loving the trees and the water!
  8. "IT"'s quite a cool build! And that Segway looks pretty awesome too.
  9. Cool moc. The control room is awesome. I loved those old sloped computers with the red, yellow and green buttons. There is just something about this moc that reminds me of my favorite Lego moments growing up.
  10. Cool buses! I really like the first one, it has a very nice ford transit look.
  11. Not till now:) I like it, it's a funny idea. You must really like hearses:) it does look better in the downsized version, the original is just too big!
  12. I wouldn't worry too much about it anyway. Honestly, you are not missing out on much. I have only ever used it for hosting pictures, and I am sure there are much better alternatives today. Navigating the site is horrible, the overall look is just uninspiring and for some reason uploading even a single low resolution photo can takes minutes.
  13. How about one of these https://www.bricklin...mPic.asp?P=3957, then slide a half pin over, stud up to hold the armor, then one more half pin to hold the helmet? Edited: never mind, didn't read your last post well enough
  14. I signed up years ago, so it's not exactly fresh in memory, but I don't remember there being any waiting time on it. I think it's supposed to just send it out automatically.
  15. Maybe ask in the pirate forum, I am sure someone there knows exactly what fabric it is.
  16. I remember seeing the set when it came out (I was 12) and I thought it looked pretty boring. I had just bought the other control center one second hand from the kid upstairs, and I loved that one. Back then it was really like having your own high tech robot:) I remember this one caught my eye because of the control center an the motors, but I had no interest in dinosaurs, and would rather have a helicopter I could fly around with. The fun part for me with the other one was programming the drawing machine and see it make my drawing by itself, and the functions of the helicopter/Dino had no appeal to me at all. I feel the same today.
  17. I must admit, I actually sat there one time and sorted a box of parts, but that's as close as I get. I do however check eurobricks almost everytime, many of my best posts were written there...
  18. @JopieK, great website you have, I haven't seen it before. I will keep you in mind next time I need stickers. It looks like you know what you are doing, those print shop guys looked at me a little funny when started pulling out minifigs and bricks to check if sizes matched:)
  19. A lot of nice details and techniques. I like the floors and the tan bricks on the walls. And the overall design is great, maybe a little advanced for a medieval castle:)
  20. I have done this for some torso stickers. I went to a print shop around the corner, those will often do just one sheet for you. Quality was excellent, and I think that is standard nowadays. Just beware if you want to print something white, if you use windows paint or the likes to design it, it will come out transparent :)
  21. A technic pin will work, I have used it for something similar before.
  22. No swoooshes(mainly because I don't build planes:)) but lots of engine noise:) it does add to the pleasure of building.
  23. I have mostly just gotten the classics: "Did YOU build that?" , "when I was a kid all the bricks were square" followed by some weird explanation of why it was better or why it was so much harder to build with them. And then of course "aren't you to old for that" :) no I'm not, never will be:)
  24. Looks really good, I like that it's elevated above the terrain and it looks like you can pass under the bridge. That is going to be one big castle, can't wait to see it:)
