Yes, I was indeed that lucky But i think they only had a few figures and a scooter. At least that is all I remember, it has been a few years

Here is a load of old MOC's First off is a Mercedes 508. The wheels are a bit big, and it has a couple of yellow lights on the back because i was out of white 1x1 bricks when i built it. So now it's an off-road van with rear work lights It can seat 2 minifigs in the front, and has lots of lovely space in the back. Next is a lovely little red Mercedes Gelände Wagen. i don't have much to say about it. It can seat 2 minifigs in the front. And here is a Piaggio APE. I love this little silly looking things. I couldn't fit a steering wheel in there because of the SNOT attachment of the front wheel, but it might be possible with some of the newer 1x2 brackets, i just don't have any. And last, but not least, a generic police cruiser. It fits 2 figs in the front(minus hats) and 2 in the back. I was running low on white parts when I made it, so it has some odd colors in some places. I put the two 1x2 slopes on the front bumper in stead of cheese slopes and a 1x4 tile. This allows the option of adding rams, or what ever it is those Americans have on there, and the "police" tile fitted in between so nicely. This concludes the first batch of treasures from my basement Please let me know what you think

I think it would be great for that. My first thought for a picture to post was a fig holding a sword above his head, ready to chop, but the arms would have to be so long it was ridiculous! i think in general it would be reat for holding any kind of firearm, but like you say it takes some playing around with, and right now it is not a priority for me.

By the way, thats a lovely monorail! And with 2 trains!!! That was one of the sets I always wanted as a kid, and now they cost a fortune. You are one blessed person

Congratulations on becoming active I took the step myself a few months ago and have not regretted it! I think this is a very positive and constructive community! Looking forward to see your pirate ship

just regular pneumatic hose https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=5102 Really nice work Darkdragon, I couldn't really find any practical use for the technique with out the arms being way to long, but you did a nice job there.

Here is a picture of my Atego. I haven't gotten very far I put it next to a MAN to show how the gaps will be filled, the cab will basically be the same, except it will probably be 1 stud shorter and of course it will have a different bumper. The hollow stud in the middle of the grill will make it out for a Mercedes logo. The DAF also looks great by the way. I agree the window works better there. I have done the same on an 8 wide bus with 2 Trans-black 1x4x3 panels as windshield. 2 of those plus 2 tiles make exactly 8 wide. Edit: I forgot to mention, I love the use of those new "fang-bracket-thingies" on the front of your Atego. Thats just brilliant!

Wow, that is quite a city! And nice lego workshop! That is my dream, to have a whole lego room, and be blessed with children that share my interest (I already ought a bunch of Friends and Disney Duplo for ny 2 and a half months old daughter ) Anyways I love the layout, and love the extensions to the airport, especially the boarding arm or whatever they call them

Sweet build! I love the aerodynamic wings and the tile in the cockpit window, the rest is cool too of course

Thanks for the comments Yes, the wheels turn, but we are talking less than 0.1 mm of clearance i would think I too love those old beat up bricks for certain creations, such as this old bucket I am blessed with quite a collection of "vintage" parts

I had all these old vehicles i made long ago in my basement, so i thought now is the time to post them This is an old Toyota Hiace, but could probably go for any little asian van from the 80's/90's. i would probably add a sliding door in the side if i built it today, but it is from before i made my sliding door design. I might put it in there someday since it would fit perfectly on that otherwise awful 1x6 inverted slope thingy in the bottom. It seats 2 figs in the front and has quite a lot of space in the back. I will probably post the rest of my old moc's in one thread so i don't jam down the town forum completely, there are quite a lot Hope you stay tuned...

Thank you so much Mr. Lightningtiger I woke up this morning to the wonderful discovery that Brickshelf's upload time was now only about 2 minutes per tiny picture So as promised here are some more pictues I can see that the next thing I need to work on is prepping my models for photography, that's a lot of dust, dirt and gaps

I am going through my basement and finding all these creations. This one is from around 2012 i think. There are a bunch of things i would like to change on it. The front of it bothers me a bit. I have changed it a number of times, and now i actually like one of the old versions better. I would also like to change the wheels, I think they are a little too big, but the ones i want to put on need a different attachment, and unfortunately my time these days is limited to just posting pictures. And then there is that awful half plate gap under the rear window... And of course i need to put on the stickers i spent hours making back then, but here i am furthermore limited on patience I will post some more pictures, just don't have the patience to wait for them to be uploaded on brickshelf right now good night folks

It's really cool, i am working on an Atego too and have sort of the same cheeseslope design for the lights/grill:) I think yours looks more like an Actros though. I love the black SNOT parts in the side windows. This might be a silly question, but is that windshield even attached

Hi Ian, there is a huge thread for it, I think it is under the general discussion forum, or whatever it's name is:) try searching "sorting and storage". And there are lots of pictures if I recall correctly. Edit: here is a link for it http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=26213&st=175#entry759859

Very good, that's a lot of windows:) I once had something similar in mind but ended up abandoning the idea because of the number of windows I would need to buy. Your moc is great, the design of the building, and as Kristel mentioned, the flower beds are cool.

Thanks for the review, I remember looking at this set in the catalog and dreaming :) I always wanted to build it in black as a space ship, with trans light blue glass. I still do :) and I think all part would exist for it today. Anyway, excellent review, lots of details you can't see in the old catalog. -
Very cool finish, I like the detail of turning the 1x6x5 panels "inside-out", any ways I think it has a great over all look. Very simple, as those places usually are :)

Congratulations to the sausage lady on the win, that was a surprise :)

Thanks for the comments :) @lighningtiger, of course you are very welcome to use the design. The front doors have a 1x2 panel under them to allow the figs some room for their little legs :)
