  1. But, were you able to select one the the three seperate pieces seperatly with the connected selection tool?
  2. I reinstalled the LDraw library and it's working again. I have no idea why it stopped working, but at least it's fixed now. However, I still have the problem with the connected selection mode tool, which selects everything...
  3. It downloads correctly here... I uploaded it temporarily here, in my dropbox. --- @Alasdair Here is the file.
  4. Well, . I just wanted to share the file (sorry about the delay btw), but now the file doesn't even want to open. It shows this message: Connect7.dat is a subpart that is used in pins. you can look it up in Parts>p. So, I opened the file (which opens fine in LDview btw) in a text editor, but the line the error is referring to isn't in connect7.dat... --- @palathadric, were you able to download the installer already?
  5. Well, I just tried it in some other files and indeed, it's just working fine there. Why doesn't it work anymore in the file I'm working on? I used it a lot already and now out of nowhere it doesn't work anymore in that file...
  6. Not as far as I know. Also, I'm not talking about the new region select tool, but the good old Connected Selection tool. The one that only selects all the parts connected to the selected part.
  7. I just found a serious bug that is very, very annoying since I'm using it a lot in the model I'm working on: the connected selection mode just selects everything...
  8. Thanks Sergio! I use SR3D builder almost daily and it's an amazing piece of software. Although, this is a very new release, I already found some things that could be improved: The version in the about box is still 0.9.5.9 When I move the toolbox and then select the another tab in the toolbox, the toolbox' position is reset. Quite annoying. Also, the toolbox now behaves quite weird. When creating a minifigure, there's is no way for me to see what color I'm hovering over. Then, something I do like is the fact that you create seperate files for the minifigures and the minifigure poses. However, I'm wondering, if I want to share a .l3b file with some minifigures and some poses, can I share it without sharing the neccesary .l3m and .l3p files? Btw, what do you mean with your last point? Non-Lego animated parts? Again, thanks a lot for your continious (and long! ) work on SR3D builder
  9. Since I'm now (slowly) rebuilding the model in LDraw, I saw that Sheo does show you when to attach the arm. And sometimes he does show how the wiring should go. It's clear that he really put a lot of effort in this
  10. Nice images Blakbird! Now I can see clearly what PF parts it uses. I was already expecting that I would need to buy a bunch of parts (including a huge amount of these ), but I was hoping to keep the costs down and it seems I have all the needed PF parts Btw, I'm currently building the base and arm manually in LDraw instead of exporting from LDD. It's a lot more work, but I like it and it makes the chance for errors very small.
  11. I was wondering: is the hardcover edition only available from NoStarch? Because the other links say it's a paperback. I would like to have the hardcover edition, but the shippings costs from the US to here are higher than the book itself...
  12. Well, this (older) model is a segway type model that doesn't use a gyro. I don't know if the performence is as good as with a gyro, but it works. But, it would be nice to buy a gyro anyway, because gyro sensors are just fun Not only for Lego.
  13. The text is a bit vague, but as far as I can tell, the truck uses leaf-springs on the rear axles.
  14. The photos are amazing! And, your "logo" is also quite nice. But, regarding the models, the crawler looks very nice, I love the roof of it. And all the other little details are very nice. Oh, and welcome to EuroBricks
  15. Lundgren, you really should stop now, otherwise Bricklink will become empty But, your trailer looks quite nice. The only thing I don't like is the fact that there are a few studs left on the front of the trailer, but it's difficult to get that shape without those curved pieces. Any chance you could make a picture with all the models you have build until now? I'm curious to see them all together
  16. Well, that was a book I was expecting. I just knew for sure something like that would come up one day or another I was, in fact, even thinking about making one myself, just for fun Well, I'm going to buy this book, like most of the other people here Btw, I see you got Mahjqa's Da Vinci machine in there. It has always been one of my favorite models. Although I got a LDraw file of it, I've never build it. It's great to also see the little less known models in the book. Great job Sariel, Blakbird and all the others who helped!
  17. Haha, nice video I've had those kind of hamsters in the past, and everytime I see one of your videos, it makes we want to buy a new one again
  18. I've had a closer look at the instructions and I really like how dense everything is. You've really build the model very well, everything looks very, very sturdy and it seems every part has a reason to sit where it sits. The only thing I'm wondering is, since it is so densely build, isn't the arm quite heavy? And doesn't that have an impact on the performance? I like the model even more now and I think this would be a very, very fun model to build, also for the more advanced builder. The building proces looks really fun. I would love to build the model. Since there is being worked on an LDraw file, the parts list would be easy to make and it could be added to Rebrickable. I'm really curious to see what parts I still miss
  19. But, it only works if a phone as a IR blaster. My phone (Nexus 4) sadly hasn't one...
  20. Your instructions look really nice and very clear But, the amount of pages is enormous Thanks for your work and I think a lot of people would love to build this very original machine. Btw, I can no proceed my LDraw version, I already made the boom when you released the earlier preview
  21. What about using the those flat, square Technic panels to make the sides of the trailer and keep it light? A bit like in Madoca's Winh Body Truck.
  22. For the ones who missed it, 2 days ago a new LDraw parts update was released. You can find more info here and here. There are 262 new parts, which you can all see here. Thanks to all the LDraw part authors
  23. Well, showing what store has the most parts could be useful, so you don't have to go to Bricklink again. And, it's already filtered on the countries the user has selected. About the database... Well, yea, to be honest, I would've expected such a reaction from Bricklink. Can you add a button in the program to download the database, instead of shipping it with it?
