Sometimes sellers (who are in a hurry) don't like to include small amounts of many different lots, and will make that clear with some kind of unique lot restriction mentioned on their splash/t&c pages. Either there must be an average of x total parts per unique lot or an average of x price per unique lot. And some will throw in surcharges. If they don't, order whatever the heck you want - the customer is always right. Just be patient because for most sellers Lego is a hobby before a business, and long orders with small lots can take more time & effort to fill. Remember though, they aren't "doing you a favour", they're getting paid.

Just noticed this, seems the Mac version of the game is available on iTunes as of last Thursday. Curiously only $32 AU compared to $30 US <insert tired argument here> https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/lego-the-lord-of-the-rings/id586620092?mt=12

Aussie sales! Share the news of LOCAL sales!
Artanis I replied to Darth_Legois's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
When was the last time Kmart had a catalogue? Many moons, I used to get one every week (a la Target). Last time they had any kind of sale was at the mid-year "layby for Christmas" sales last year. 20% off, not very exciting, as everywhere else was too. -

My negative feedback (because it was a pretty good bunch of contests with awesome trophies, nice prizes, was well organised & moderated): Too many entries!!! Too many awesome builders! If I'd known how much of a response these would've had compared to the SW contests I would've entered that one instead, and perhaps maybe had the chance of getting nearly 1 vote. I didn't enter that one because it's a very busy popular forum compared to the Sci-Fi one, so I expected this to go about the same as or less than the previous months (Ninja, SH, Friends) and the SW ones to be huge... I suppose Sci-Fi MOCs are always very common. Perhaps more categories (but that might make prizes more difficult) to spread it out a bit, with or without restrictions to how many you can enter? I just don't like seeing 100 entries to have to try to choose 5 favourites from, and also see a big percentage of people who tried really hard & did well probably not going to even get 1 vote.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 5 Discussion
Artanis I replied to LEGOman273's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I think by "ghurl"friend he meant not as in a couple, but when girls that are close or very friendly refer to each other using the word. Regarding Yoda: in the movies & lately, no, but in previous seasons he'd been reversing far too much, so whenever he doesn't do it it's become weird for me. -
Before or after Gandalf the White & co have turned up to the field of victory is more likely the question. Unless it's just an architectural structure with no minifigs. (We still don't know if there will be anything other than a building.)

The movie was quite long, to get enough time for Two-Face would've made it far too long. My opinion is that the movie should've finished earlier finishing off The Joker, and Two-Face be elaborated in a separate movie.

In that case (this is all just my own reasoning from the already aired episodes) Did anyone notice Plo Koon & Anakin slowly walking from the council after just being told to go swiftly to find Ahsoka "before it's too late" (btw instead of "before too late, it is")? Great sense of urgency there... -

1. Yes. 2. I don't remember, but it is different depending on your country. I do remember having to pay $100 for each transaction last time, either to get free shipping or to include the free polybags too, I'm not certain. -
So what about a white, chrome or shadow Han? Haha. Or a Han Trooper... (I'm not interested in whatever we're getting anyway, not a Han Solo minifig at least.)
-
Spaceballs... haha. "Did you see anything?" "No, I didn't see you playing with your dolls again"

Unfortunately Saruman was really only portrayed as a sly evil wizard in the movies, it's a pity he wasn't portrayed more like the enchanter he's meant to be (a bit like they made Galadriel). Sweet musically spoken & actually convincing. "Come over to the dark side, we have third breakfast" (I don't think it was Christopher Lee's performance, but the lack of visual & audio post-production. After all, he reads the books every year...) Yes, it's a shame that the Minas Tirith siege etc. had to be so condensed, maybe there should've been 4 movies...

Never heard of the entire entertainment industry then, eh...

I do something like that. I either bring up all the items from the specific list for each store or I put everything I'm interested in in each store's cart and print out the carts. I then compare prices between them and take note of what is missing (open up more stores if so) before deciding what I'll go with. Not optimal, but that's life.

If you replace the heads & arms they're okay. The sand green skin & cute face doesn't look great next to the olive & dark tan orcs with the scary faces. The crownies you need to turn into fleshies or they look way out of place, I'm not sure how good the torso & armour prints look next to LOTR minifigs though.

Scene 2 is where the Death Star 3 (come on, you know it's going to happen!) blows up Tattooine so we never have to go there again.

Crater Crawler? You mean Crater Creeper, haha. Crater Crawler from 1985: Crater Crawler from 1988: And while we're at it, how about the Crater Cruiser from 1995: All before Insectoids Cosmic Creeper (but that one's most likely the main influence)

That's why I want to get 2... 1 original blue & 1 dark green.

Great job mate! Congrats to the winners, to come out on top of so many excellent entries is enough to suggest that you deserve it.

Do you infer that they might be releasing different planets to what we are currently expecting? Or something else? I am curious about the fact that all 3 from series 4 are OT. No PT at all or CW (or EU).
