The space suit in the Hail Mary set looks useful

It's still there. It's amazing. So I will just list the things that I feel keep it from being 100/10. Faramir's hair. No Eowyn. That's all I can think of so far - it depends on what the price ends up being. Here's hoping there's going to be some decent way to get more soldiers, and opposing armies.

I already commented on the Alchemist set in the Bricklink thread - I'm not interested in it other than the soldiers which I would be better off getting via the usual Bricklink method anyway. Some may take issue with the jester's colours, which are a bit unusual. But what looks 'weird/wrong' about this one for me, is that the hat is all one colour instead of 2 colours - either in halves or quarters.

$329 when all I want are the minifigs anyway - that's what normal Bricklink is for. Series 7 is going to be a 'pass' for me.

These sets don't come with printed instructions, you have to download the pdf (which you can print if you like) or use some app. Same. Bizarre.

None of the castles selected. Leaving so much money on the table. I was keen for some viking longships too. Don't know why I bother voting on these things.

Fraggles wouldn't work in CMF - not enough characters and the scale difference is way too large. You'd need bigfigs, minifigs & microfigs.

They already did a KKI castle revival (but with stickers) in 2006 for some weird reason. Totally eclipsed by the 2007-> 'fantasy era' of course

They shouldn't have tried to remake the Renegade. They should've done the Battrax. 10000%. It would've been so easy to make a really cool upscaled modern version.

It is down from $399 to $299 in Australia but I wouldn't likely touch it for more than $200. It's on back-order though, so someone bit.

I got up 15 minutes before preorders started, to make sure I was logged in to both sites. After the usual shenanigans with errors, redirects to the incorrect region, wrong quantity in the cart etc, it went through at 2:05am and I only took another 2 hours to get back to sleep... At least it was quicker than usual. Just got the castle.

It's listed on S@H as retiring soon. I think it flopped, it's only about 9 months old.

Most people are going to be disappointed in some way. It will either be too small, wrong shape, wrong colours or prints, not enough generic minifigs (army build), not enough secondary character minifigs, inadequate versions of hero minifigs, or too many stickers/prints. And it will also cost more than people would like to pay! Personally, all I want is official minifigs of not-seen-before characters, and to get a decent number of soldiers without having to sell the family as slaves to afford it.

Fact: Dave Filoni is going to keep bringing back characters he likes, again and again. Deal with it.
