  6. Galaxy Squad sets should appear in shops within the month if history truly does repeat itself regarding S@H appearances. 5 of the 6 first wave sets are finally available (not the Star Slicer), prices are $16, $30, $40, $70 & $100 compared to the US prices of $12, $20, $30, $60 & $80. Pretty freaking good price comparison, especially on the top 2 sets, shame I went ahead and got those ones online earlier...
  7. Just noticed today that Galaxy Squad first wave sets are finally on S@H in some countries that didn't have them previously. Oz prices are: $16, $30, $40, $70, $100. (Star Slicer is missing) Not all countries have all 6 sets. Maybe we won't be waiting until August after all.
  8. Big fight? If this is in reference to an invading army (that wouldn't even get past the mountains if by some fluke they manage to navigate to them) it's more like big joke. One does not simply walk into Nocturnus...
  9. Thanks guys. Simple I can do...
  10. I found a bit of time to put something together with parts from probably the only Fabuland set I personally owned, so here's my contribution to the themed month. The build includes not only Fab pieces, but also standard vanilla bricks(!) + plates but for you modern-types, everyone's recent favourite: the cheese slope! Enjoy the cute anthropomorphs in their scary brightly coloured blocky setting that is Fabuland! Faburod Let me know if I need to change anything for the contest. Sorry about all the shadows in the photos, I didn't realise at the time that digital backgrounds aren't allowed, I had intended to clean the pics up in photoshop.
  11. The latest in my ongoing theme of green spacemen...
  12. Check the FAQs for more details. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=71241 Find the theme you think your MOC belongs to (eg Star Wars, History, Town etc), create a topic (you seem to have worked out how to do that) and using the above tutorials to figure out about cropping, resizing, hosting etc your photos - link to them in your post and tell us a bit about it!
  13. Sandstone buildings!
  14. Putting flick-fire missiles on flick-fire missiles was pure evil (genius). I bet the set designer is still cackling. I felt so dirty during that part of the build... Time to Flickr a flickr-fire missile...
  15. Thanks G for the official pics. Not a huge fan of the mech, unless it transformed into a ship like a Starcraft viking. As it is I might buy 2 of those, 1 each of the big sets and a few of the crater creeper. I count only 3 stickers on the cheaper set and @12ish on the other 3.
  16. I'm sure it would've kept getting better as it has been (but less kid friendly), but it's going to be over now, they have reasons (whether they're good or not) and no one is "entitled" to having their TV shows going as long as they want (except maybe TV execs etc) so I have to let it go. Hey, maybe some of the CW story ideas can be altered to fit the replacement show? Gotta speak the other language for their benefit sometimes... shop/store, shipping/postage...
  17. Great work, and I like how you've included the turbo fan too.
  18. I don't have an X-Wing, I do have the Striker. It's a nice ship, even though the colours are a bit weird. TOR BP means The Old Republic battle pack, ie the recent set with 4 troopers and a handful of pieces. And the attraction to the Desert Skiff is mostly for the minifigs included at the price. Boba Fett is sought after, and previously in a more expensive set. But I did buy it also for the brown parts included. What are you looking for in a set? A fun/interesting build? Parts to reuse for other things? Minifigs? Final model for display? Being SW, is it from a scene you like? Each different factor changes what your preference is. Personally, because there are so many sets and SW isn't the only theme, I try to limit it to sets that include minifigs I want.
  19. Just because it's popular doesn't mean it has to continue for years and years until everyone is sick of it... besides, they're nearly at the point of Episode III anyway. Just let them wrap it all up. Take a look at British TV shows, with 6-8 episodes per season, and the good ones only go for a few years (most of the shows that keep going are the awful ones - soapies usually). The show is more popular the 2nd time it gets aired. You can watch Father Ted or Black Adder over & over again , unlike when 22-episode-per-season shows go on and on and on, there just isn't the time to keep re-watching full seasons. And Brickadeer please stop saying "triology", it's "trilogy". Maybe you are confusing it with biology?
  20. Impressive sketches Dr Rod, thanks for sharing. Good to see the blood of those Avalonians is good for something, and that those drow are still building on an impressive scale and using some nice techniques with their ornate constructions. I like that garden & weapon store. The "bridge guardian" looks familiar too.
  21. Nice job Penguin, is that a duplo penguin? The Bane hulk looks pretty good, and if that Kraang is purely painted on, I'm impressed.
  22. The ADU vehicle is more complete though, the VV has some gaps here and there in tranformed mode that make it look a bit incomplete. From the front & sides it's excellent.
  23. I get it now, the first pic (which I couldn't figure out why that was there at first) is reality, the second is what is in his imagination. I was thinking "what the heck is that spider there for?" "what does this have to do with anything?"
