    No, i'm not happy.. now i'm even more curious about when the DA will be released and what the releasedate of the BS will be... besides that, my wallet will schrink a bit.. will buy two of both ofcourse... !

    Well, don't count me in.. as long as i have money for spending on Lego, i will.. it gives me a certain amount of rest and relaxation in this world! I can go back to my childhood when building with Lego and can still feel the stove heating up my back when i was playing with Lego as a kid.. Nowadays i still gives my head some kind of peace... so, no, i won't cut down on Lego spendings.... I'm interested in the Detective Agency and will certainly buy two of them, so i can MOD them to one big agency....like i did with other modulars.. I'm just sorry that the DA is not available just before Christmas, so i can spent some nice winterevenings building the set.......

    Indeed it is not impossible, but very, véry unlikely that TLG will come up with a modular trainstation.. Andy, besides this, what are your Lego-plans for 2015...

    i can imagine someone is getting them...but.... those individuals will be scarce, seen the comments i read about the 'mini-thingies' before.... I'd rather spend my money on real modulars... ! It is hard to have a trainstation in a modular layout... it can be done, but then the trainstation has to be a standalone.. else the trains will get to close to the buildings.. Personally i think that there never will be a modular one.. also because a lot of people use shelves to put their modulars on.... a station including track could never have a depth of only 32 studs....

    ..euhm...i realize we are still doing october now..... i was a month ahead...haha.. waited all day yesterday to be the first to see some news about the DA...haha.. that was pretty stupid of me.. well.. being busy at work and home with the kids, so knowing what month it is does not have priority sometimes....haha...

    Here it is... They go together well!! The way this set has hinged parts, means it is ideal to put it in a corner or at left/right side of your layout!!

    I don't do many orders at Lego...only 2 times a year or so.. so i'd rather have 10 euros off.... The other sets i Always order with other internetshops that are way cheaper! For european standards it is still a good deal.. i could sell the promotional gift for 20 euro's or so..so than i'll have the Santa Shop for 70 euro's including the advent calander.. thát is a good deal...

    It is a very boxy design.. if i were you, i would check out other peoples creations, and first try to do something in between your current design and other ones.. Ofcourse you cannot build topmodels the first time, but this is a bit simple.

    I would buy GE... the Town Hall will be sold second hand a lot in the coming years, because this modular was less wanted by people, the last years.. So within a year or so, a lot of people will try to sell the TH and because of that, prices will drop.. But that might be only the case in the Netherland where there is a vivid market for second hand Lego.......

    The Dutch Lego Site (change region to Netherlands) has TH, GE, PS, PC and PR available.... When i have a look in other webshops, they are also easily available...with normal prices... ...

    I definitely prefer wider... but,besides that, when you have two sets of each, there is mostly an opportunity to make the new building somewhat taller by adding a brick layer here and there, without doing wrong to the original design! I bought almost all doubles to make them wider!! Only extra bricks for a taller blue pet shop...

    For a country with so many passionate Legobuilders, it is a shame that there isn't a Lego Store.... On the other hand, there are so many webshops in the Netherlands where you can order sets till 22.00 hours and they will be delivered the next day, mostly within 16 hours after ordering... and that for even a lower price than the prices in the official Legostore.. For me, living at the border with Germany, it is a one hour drive to the Lego Store Oberhausen... But, wether you have a Legostore near or not..there is still no news about the Detective Agency......

    Yeah, i was wondering the same... expecting to see the holidaypromotion after putting Santa´s Workshop and a Adventcalander in my cart...but, no free holidaypromotion.... so i´ll better wait a few weeks.....
