I think i'll go for this one.. several people chose this option.. By placing two darkbrown 'hallway' parts next to eachother, it seems there is an extra appartment.. i'll go for this one... starting tonight!

Thank you OtW,... so far i did only the ground level.. the pictures i posted are photshopped from the Original set-pictures....but i think it can be done with a few extra bricks or tricks.... I'm thinking of dividing the pool hall into two separate rooms, or have a wall with a door in it.. The poolhall will have 2 poolbilliarts and there is a darts-corner.. Maybe a bar..if there is space enough... First i'll go up tot the other levels, and see if it all works.. after that, i will have another take on the interior... The barber worked out fine.. put in both mirrors and chairs...only one chest (secret door) and exchanged the wigs ofcourse... Will start with the detective's office tonight and should do another attempt on the 'R' for 'Al's Hair'......

I hope i will end up with this..see if it is possible... i still need an 'R' though... or this is also a possibility...

Here a crappy Phone-picture of my Work In Progress.. It is 32 + 16 + 8 studs wide...so far i did some work on the pool hall and the barber on ground level... will proceed soon!Hope anyone can help me with a decent 'R' for 'Al's Hair...

That is a pretty cool idea, to use the mirror for the pool hall.. although, if i make the barber 8 studs wider, a second mirror and chair would fit in there as well... That is at least my idea... widen the pool haal and detective office by 16 studs and the barber-side with 8 studs... I will also try to make it a few bricks higher.... see how that will end up. So far i did not get my second set..although i ordered it with another account and it should be delivered to another adress... I payed for it already 3 days ago..and still no second DO on the doormat.....hmmm....

True, maybe this is too decent for a Poolhall... Hope my second set is sent to me these days, so i can make a start with my expansion on the DO. Planned to make it 16+8 studs wider.

TLG want all of us to buy two...like i would like to, but after i received my first DO, it isn't possible to order a second one... two orders were cancelled and now i used my parents adress with a new mailadres to order one, but i think this willbe cancelled as well..... weird....

Now i got a mail: Your Lego Order has shipped.....yes, that means it will arrive tomorrow!! Confirmed, it will arrive tomorrow between 10.30 and 12.30 hours...!!!!

I was able to log in and see my order history....but then... i waited...and waited...and waited...

I can't look at the status as well..the whole site is down...... The site is active again! (Holland time 20.33 hours)

It was cancelled by TLG...the status of the second order is 'cancelled'.... the first one is still in progress, but the items are in 'warehouse' so i'm pretty sure the first order will arrive soon...

My second order on the DO was cancelled.... the first one, with flower cart and VIP-discount is in progress!

There is only one available DO per household......

It is available in Holland as well now. Made two separate orders for one DO each, to be sure to get two flower carts!!

Still no sign of availability......maybe a site-administrator has celebrated a bit too much, last night and forgot to change the status of the DO.....it is 20.11 hours now in Holland, Europe...

What do we need a bank for, if allour money slowly flows to TLG... .. I think it could be a nice to have a bank, as long as it doesn;t look to much like the GE... Banks, for me, are more or less boring buildings...so they should come up with a somewhat more spectacular design...... For now i will leave the modular 2016 rumours and discussion-topic as it is rather far, far away.....!!

People could consider changing the color of one of the elements /floors of the DO. It could be done rather easily.... even for people who are not so common with MODding. Simply buy the DO, start with, for example, the brick-brick-part and count the 1x2 and 1x4 brickbricks and then order the same amount in another color.... Personally, i think that if you place the DO next to somewhat more boring buildings like the Town Hall or the Grand Emporium, it would add something to the whole block... maybe you should see it when it is next to those structures in real life.. colors are not thát bright, once you see them in your own room and then it might be a very welcome, colorfull addition to the modular line! I will buy two sets, and i'm almost sure that i will mirrorbuild them and put the brickbrick-sides together....
