  1. Wow, you got so many of them already? And I am still waiting here in Germany *cry* Such an awesome collection you have, and a great work with the landscape.
  2. If there would be any for a reasonable price... :( I would even buy the last lackluster serie... But then you look at the price tags of some sets and say "Nooooo thanks". The here and then appearing castle minifigure is great, but does not replace proper sets. Kids on the other hand, at least in Germany appear to be pretty happy with Nexo Knights, and the fact we got a second series shows this as well.
  3. I have to agree with Sammael. The last castle line just was so... boring and uninspired... and the fact that we had only 5 sets in total made it even worse. Everything looked like we had have it before. The heraldry looked so children like, like Knights Kingdom 1. There were some really nice printings on the foot soldiers indeed. But overall the series just was not my thing. Ironically the smallest set was IMO the best set of the entire series, since it contained many minifigures (and a dog). Same goes for the recent pirates series. The ships always look like poor men's BSBs, we essentially get the same stuff every time and that's about it. If castle returns, it should return in full glory and not appear like a poor revamp of older days. Nexo Knights.. I get why people dislike it. Same for Alien Invaders. When they appeared I thought "Guys... where is my damn space ship?! I don't want an truck and a helicopter. I want a space ship!" I certainly think about Nexo Knights vehicles (Although the hover horses and bots are kind of cute). But the bad guys, well they are amazing. The soldiers have amazing prints, the scurriers are really cute, and the unique monster characters look great. Especially of the second series, With the monsters haveing nearly no technology, they fit very well into the fantasy era, and they make waiting for the new castle a bit easier. There certainly are plenty of useful parts for castle. :)
  4. Ohh the Imp and that Vampire boy are adorable. I need those, the Ice queen, and multiple rogues. <3
  5. I think, Wave 2 was a step in the right diraction. Jestro's lair is pretty awesome and has several exclusive minifigures (Librarian, Lavaria and black scurrier)... Considering the fact, that the "evil" castle guys had rather lackluster keeps it is really great. The towers of Castle and Castle II were simply disappointing. If it wouldn't be so damn expensive, I would have bought it. General Magmar's vehicle might be a bit silly, but you can isealy modify it to a rock solid siegetower, and has again, two awesome, exclusive minifigures. If there wouldn't be Nexo Knights in the sets, they could easily be some fantasy era bad guy sets. I would be happy to see some smaller buildings for both factions. Some small outpost for Jestro's forces, and maybe some Nexo-Knight-"Civilian life" sets. Like a farm with peasant (bots). A proper workshop for Robin maybe? Or a castle, which is very gold/ blue heavy, a true castle, not a vehicle, featuring the Halberd family, with Hammerin in her armor.
  6. Yeah, there was Castle alongside of LotR, but it was a tiny series, having only 5 sets, no impulses, no expansion later on. It all appeared so, well at best halfhearted. You realized, that Lego didn't expect that much of Castle next to LotR, and tried to be a little bit on the careful side. I guess same goes for Nexo Knights now. As long as those are around I don't think there will be new Castle. Although Lego certainly didin't forgot us, since Nexos have plenty of references to classic knights even in the comics.
  7. Hey guys, I bought another set, and I am wondering, can anyone tell me, what the hole at the helmet of Aaron for example is for? Just wondering, since it is clearly not for plumes, and I can't remember, seeing it used for anything?
  8. The evil queen would be amazing. I am wondering how they would make her headdress? A minifigure head with a crown stick on it would be a bit silly.
  9. Wow, that looks amazing and I really love the references to Disney movies in the rooms... The minifigures on the other hand are a bit on the weaker side imo. 5 figures for a 4k part set? But outstanding or not, the price is outside of my league.
  10. The monster minifigures are great in general. I absolutely love their armor printings, and Lavaria and Ultimate General Magmar are absolutely awesome. In addition they are pretty much nontechnical, which makes them fit to combine them with castle as a evil faction, for example summoned by the Evil Mage we got in the last Castle series. As for the knights I only love Macy (And again, her helmet is a great addition for castle. Especially the Kingdoms series.) Personally I hope for Queen Hammerin Halberd in her golden/ blue armor and her warhammer, and of course additional monster minifigures (Magmar, Lavaria and Flama are so much better than the old named guys (Beast Master and Moltor)... and more structures instead of vehicles. The lair of Jestro looks pretty interesting.. There should be more like that.
  11. Looks pretty boring imo... I prefer minifigures, or little monsters. So not sure, If I would go buying it. There isn't something interesting about it.
  12. Yeah, you get it, atleast in Germany in the July, Nexo Knight magazine. Birckset said June magezine.. but in Germany it is definetly July printed on it. The minifigure does have the Ash Attacker legs and torso and a shooting crossbow. The photo of the minifigure is what you get, the "artwork" is wrong, for whatever reason.
  13. My problem with flails is, that they either simply dangle around if they have a proper chain, since lego figures are rather static, or probably look silly, like the flails we got in Castle, Kingdoms and Castle II when they have a "solid chain".. making arm positioning difficult (Although, to be fair, the armor impairs the knights poses severly anyway).
  14. Ohhh, i didn't watch videos and stuff, I just wanted the bricks so i didn't know that image. Now that's awful. Anyway, I really hope she comes soon. She indeed looks awesome. Simply perfect.
  15. I am still undecided. Opening or let it closed? On the one hand, crusaders are one of my favorite castle factions, although their details don't fit today standards. I absolutely adore those guys, and I am kind of sad, that I am to young, to enjoy their era. On the other hand, it is a god damn promotionset in a nice box... What to do? I hope, the medival knights will return with all their clory... and I believe they will. Some day. I honestly don't believe, that Nexo is a long running theme like Ninjago.
  16. I would love to have the queen in her armor. I imagine, she wields a warhammer. Since her color is blue, she might appear a little bit to similar to Glay, despite having her own crest. I would therefore suggest, to give her transaprent blue shoulderpeaces instead of the usual orange, and maybe making her armor golden, and maybe adding a crown thingy to her helmet. After all, she is a queen, who doesn't hide. So no needs to hide her true colors. Oh, and so far, we don't have a warhammer wielding knight anyway. ;) Then we got Ava. A silver/ purple style would fit her very well. I think, if she grows up, she would be a cool battlemage. Clad in armor, but still wielding a staff, with some kind of purple crystal/ gem thingy on the top. Kind of like Warhammer 40k psycers/ librarians. Other options would be of course new knights, not in the story yet. There I would again absolutely love to have a knight wielding a warhammer. After all, other stereotypical medival weapons are kind of taken.
  17. Gone in Germany as well. Looks like many wanted to get that little guy. The classic one is however still there. Edit: Did we get the beard of the Merloc minifigure anywhere else? I kind of like that weird looking mage with his knotted beard. :P
  18. In Germany it said, the promotions can not be combined with other promotions or gratis minifigures. And they added only the classic one to the chart. Oddly enough though, the poster mentioned the same, but is added too... The Nexo Knight one however is not added, despite having only Nexo Knight products in the chart... weird, since it seems to be added in other EU locations. Not that it is super important, I don't really like the generic soldiers of the knights in the first place. I am just wondering. Or does "merchandise" not mean Lego sets but stuff like keychains, those swords/ shields and so on?.
  19. Hm, so, if I order let's say Jestro's lair, which box will I get? The Classic box or the Nexo Knight? Sorry for asking a dumb question... I am just a little bit confused.
  20. When I first saw the set,I was amazed. I am not the biggest fan, of the doll-minifigures, but the Elves series has something interesting, and the castle is no exception. There are absolutely lovely details, and interesting parts in it, and unlike the castle counterparts this castle certainly does not lack furniture. Definitly a set, to consider buying it and modify it for Maleficent. The only downside are all those stickers.
  21. This was my first Nexo Knight set as well, and I instantly was interested after seeing it. Especially after realizing, that unlike the other sets, this one was "exclusive" to the Ultimate form, since Lavaria in Jestro's lair wasn't released back then. In addion, she looked much more appealing since she firstly didn't have some oversized weapon on her back, didn't have transparent armor stuff and the "spider" body was something really interesting. Giving her a set of regular legs made it even better. Even after the release of a new Ultimate wave, she is by far the best looking of the evil guy, and imo best of the entire series. <3
  22. There are some missprints shown in the licensed forum: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=127083&st=4075#entry2596676 It seems, to effect however only the mice and ducks...At least there is none other posted. I got several minifigures of the serie, and I got no problems.
  23. The knights are boring, same goes for their vehicles. However, I absolutely love the bad guys. With a little change of weapons, they make a great evil faction for Castle. In addition their small minions look just super adorable. Oh and Flama, Lavaria and Jestro are pretty cool minifigures. I will definitly go for them
  24. Since I am living in Europe I only got shooting cannons. Those nonshooting ones or disabled ones are pretty rare here. Before joining AFOL Forums I didn't even know those things existed. I would like, to have at least some of those. And of course the Crossbone Clipper, which sadly didn't make it to europe, and is ridiculously expensive, despite the fact it is a pretty lackluster kind of ship, had not that many parts... But it is a damn pirate ship. ;)
  25. I found it rather odd, that none! of the stores in larger towns i visited had pirates at all. Looks pretty grim in germany as well, at least where I am living. They got tons of Ninjago, they got that Legend of Chima crap, both themes I think, are nothing but silly..., but they seemingly sell very well, because of those fancy weapons and stuff I guess. Anyway... it is really sad, going into the stores, in a childlike excitment for the new pirates, only to see no set. They aren't even sold out, they just don't have them.-.- Surprisingly though a toy store in the small village I am living got the Bounty, and the two soldier buildings, but none of the smaller pirate sets. How comes, the smaller stores got it, and have the smaller sets sold out, while the larger stores don't have a single set? Damn, I hate that Chima, and Ninjago... taking the spot of Castle and Pirates. going on for years, getting tons of silly, stupid, ridiculous stuff, while Castle and Pirates are edged after small waves.
