Are there any pictures of the Queen Anne´s Revenge from an other angle? However I really like the very unusual stern castle. It seems, that my pirates will get flsh-skinned reinforcements. The PotC sets look really nice and those sabre-holders are really accessories. Blackbeard is a nice minifig. I love the burning fuses in his hair. Well, except his sabre. It just looks a bit heavy and large for a minifig.

Oh wow! That is amazing! I really love the mounted dragon knight, even I am missing a lance. But there are no lances at the "Kingdoms" theme at all (except dragon knights battlepack). But every set has some really nice content: - new animals - Battleaxe, Shortsword - new printed horses - of course the mounted dragon knight - amazing buildings - civillian sets - the return of the pitchfork... i am wondering, why the pitchfork has been only used for the very first sets

I bought a 5974 Galactic Enforcer. The box is slightly damaged at the edges and someone ripped the price tag off (so the picture is a little bit damaged), so I got it for only half the original price.

Oh wow! Thanks for the new pictures. I really like the village. There are no lion knights, but three dragon knights ow are armed with two shields, there are goats, a new pitchfork, several peasants (with new torsos?)and nice little buckets. Kings carriage seems to be very nice. There are two horses, a kings armor and sowrd, 2 dragon knights and two trees! Which regular set of the newer ages (except Medival Market Place) contains a tree? The dragon knights prison looks a bit strange, two small, thin buildings. However, there is a mounted dragon knight, three shields. All in all the set is saved by the mounted dragon knight. Last but not least the blacksmith: The second half civilian set of that theme contains a well armored dragon knight, again armored with a shield. There is again just like in the village set one of those small buckets, sveral new weapons (a doublebladed axe (every wiking would dream of it) and a short sword. I really like the printing at the blacksmith shops roof. I hope, those ornaments are etched and noch dreaded stickers). Just like a small bonus the blacksmith contains a chicken! Oh wow! Now we got cows, goats, horses, pigs and chicken! I would have liked to see a leathery apron so the blacksmith protects his chest from sparks or something like that. Maybe lego adds a brown cape like in the original blacksmith set or it will get a new torso. A very nice set. I have to get them all... but why do we have to wait half a year! I want them now!

What is that strange big black thing at 7187 Escape from Dragon's Prison? Is it a mounted dragon knight? Thanks for posting the pictures may not by the best, but what I see is very nice.

Correct. I never spotted this set anywhere. It seems, that it has never been released. Maybe it is a promotion for the second Kingdoms release?

I thought, the "Fantasy-Era" of Castle was over... but after reading the description of 852920-1: Dragon Armor it seems, that there could be a return of skellies, dwarfs and trolls: I am confused, because the new Kingdoms serie seems to be a brandnew Castle subtheme with no links to the old Knights Kingdom I+II and the fantasy era. Will there be a next "Fantasy Castle" in the future? There is not really much fantasy in the new serie (That wizard seems to be an alchemist with all those potions and the redesigned scroll and that "unicorn" is just a barded horse). I did not realy like the "Fantasy Castle" (Although the crownies are awesome),so i hope that description is not an omen for "Fantasy reloaded". PS: How can I change the topics title to "Fantasy reloaded?"

A very nice small set. But I am wondering, that you paid 9.50 for that promotion set. In Germany I was able to purchase 10! of them for just 1.99 € each set today. It is awesome. Isn´t it? So I finally got my Dragonknight-armybuilder for increasing the ranks. Btw: Where can I get that Lionknight-Crossbowman promotion set? It is not sold at Bricklink, Ebay or anywhere else.

I really do not Lego Licensed minifigs! I can not use them for my own "Pirate World" and a release of POTC means the Lego Pirate theme is wiped out. So there are only peach-skinned minifigs... -.-

Sorry for Threadnecromancing, but I finally bought BBB yesterday and now I am really able to compare them. Pro BSB: -Larger Crew -More guns, cutlasses, pistols and even two halberds -Room for cargo -Liftable anchor -Very nice steering wheel consturction (I think, it is the best of all ships) -4 Cannons for four cannon-"holes". -A stair to the top of the stern castle. -Better Jolly Roger design Con BSB: -Colorsheme (but for the time, the ship was produced it is ok) -The rigs are a little complicated. Especially when you want to deconstruct it --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pro BBB: -Colorsheme! I really love the gold and the dark red. -Boxes for cannon equipment -A ship rat! -A barrel of rum -A banana for the monkey -Furniture in the sterncastle Con BBB: -Only 2 cannons at the cannon deck -The swiffleguns are unreachable for the crewmen -The crew is to small. -Where is my anchor?! -The sails are poorly constructed at the masts. -The sterncastle cannon makes it impossible to navigate during a fight. However, the crew is to small to use that cannon. -No stair to the roof of the sterncastle -The cannon at the rear looks, like it would be at the wrong place -The steeringwheel is poorly constructed. -No deck.. -All in all the BBB looks a little childish So finally the BSB still rules the sea. It is one of the best designed ship lego ever made. In my opinion the BSB is as well constructed as the Imperial Flagship. The BSB does not have a completly closed deck, but it has enough cannons and rigs! Oh and the steeringwheel looks better.

Oh... thats sad. So there are no yellow pirate minifigs anymore PotC is ok, but please... please change the skin-color of the licensed minifigs back to yellow. Why did they change the skin color anyway?

That is very strange. In Hessia a very small local store in my home village of 2000 people has the Shipwreck Hideout in the shop. However, when I got paid, it will be mine.

I got 2 extra plumes too. This is very strange, because if you look at the Review, there are no extra plumes in his set. But I like the extra plumes, which can be used for converting the outpost tower into a dragon knights tower, for giving the black knight in the advent calendar a plume, so he can be a green knight oder just for replacing lost plumes. BTW: I got a red extra plume in the "Prison Carriage" set. Are we getting every plume twice?

Did anyone else realized the missprinted crest at the shields? After long time of waiting (the Mail Order sended it to the worng adress) I got my own BP. The weapons do not fall so easy like in the video(but at 2 of the 5 minifigs fall easier than the weapons of normal minifigs), there are slightly different colours but all in all my BP is ok. The only point I do not like is the missprinted crest of the shield! Booo.

Are those Promotion Sets only available in the USA? I never saw a Promotionset in Germany. If I can get some in Germany please tell me where.

I used the firepole of the pirate serie without the orange "fireplume" and an emerald (which was also in a pirate set but you can get them in many sets).

Interesting formula, but what can we do, if we want to build a Dragon Knights Army? We can not use the BP, bacause of the quality and the Knights Showdown Box does not contain a regular soldier. Because of his chain armor and no crest he seems to play a special role like a dragon knights champion or a dungeon master. The Battle Wagon is the smalest and cheapest set of the dragon knights, containing a regular soldier and some spears but it is a promational set and so not really available. And the person carriage costs 9.95 €. Thats to much for using it as dragon knights armybuilder. So the dragon knights are outnumbered all the time to the lion knights.

Maybe Lego made some undescovered mistakes during the production of the first battle packs, so that the problems exist in only some BPs but not in all. Remember, that Lego made mistakes during printing the Black Hawks. Some minifigs crest of the Black Hawks were printed mirrored.

It is ok, to play Lego if you are an adult. Remember, that there are some sets, that are not designed for children like the "Volkswagen" or the Taj Mahal. Build Lego makes fun, collecting minifigs also does. There is nothing wrong about the hobby. I suggest, just do not care about other peoples opinion. If a hobby makes fun, why should you stop it? My family is a little bit difficult: My mother thinks, that "playing" Lego is to childish and I would be to old for that.She does not allow me to play lego. My fother sais, that Lego is very nice, and it makes a lot of fun playing with it, but I should not buy to much Lego. I should save the money for more important things. My brothers do not care, but they share my fathers opiniomn. There are several more important things. The other people do not know my hobbies. If I buy Lego in a store, no one looks at me. But there is no reason. I am 21, so I am old enough to have nephews or nieces (although I do not have^^). I do not know... but maybe the people think, that it would be "more normal" for a woman to buy toy because they would do this for their children. I do not have any idea. Sadly there are to many people, wo think, that it is a womans order to rise the children. I have only ohne wish to all AFOLs: Pleace put youro are bricks back into boxes afer building something oder playing with Lego. There is nothing more annoying than stepping at night right onto the Lego bricks. It hurts! I just want to wait, until I got my own children, who should be in the age of playing Lego for stepping on some bricks.

Maybe you should compare the "holding the weapons" problem of the BP minifigs with a regular minifig in your video. If you just show one minifig there is nothing the viewer could compare with. Did you change the hands with a regular minifig? Is that a possible solution of the hand problem? If there would be only a difference in the quality of the hands it would be ok, but there are no dark pearl weapons und differend colours of the clothes. However, the colours of the BP minifig next to the regular minifig are very bad. So the BPs do not fit as good armybuilder because the minifigs look different. But what can we use s an armybuilder? The cheapest set does not contain a regular soldier. So sadly there are only three reasons for buying the BP: The two helmets and the breastplate. But are those 3 parts worth 12.95 Euro?

Thanks a lot. I guess 7092 Skeletons' Prison Carriage is the cheapest one, that contains a dark gray saddle, isn´t it? (The only other set I found was the orc keep)

I totally agree. That is sad. But at the other hand the dragon knights get two bucket helmets and a printed breastplate! Especially the breastplate is a reason to buy it. So you can build a green general without the castle set. Btw: The set contains a lance but there are no mounted knights of the Dragon Knights in all sets. Can I somehow get a dark green, black or dark gray saddle to build a knight?

I like the set and it is the 19.95€ totally worth. The only point I do not like is the gate. Why are there no small doors like in "Black Monarchs Ghost"?
