    Thanks all! Hmmmm, I actually didn't even consider this. It probably would have been improved had I included some dark red, sand red, etc among the roof bits. Thanks for the input!

    Thanks all, that wraps up UoP DoH credit for Architecture: roof 1 and round walls and towers! I started the build with black columns - they are supposed to read as wood - but I don't have enough pieces for that, and I didn't have enough brown plates to do the horizontal frames matching - it had to be brown vertical frames and black horizontal ones. This entire build ended up being an exercise in getting by. I do wish I had been able to do the window frames in brown, too, but again, didn't have enough pieces. My collection grows, though never fast enough.... The minifig is basically Chief Big Bear from The Lone Ranger.

    Actually, there was one rolled about 4 hours before Erdy's in Quest 102, although I think it will prove your point more than anything....

    Thanks! I agree that the well is not perfect - it was mostly a tablescrap (I was experimenting with round walls) but I felt that it did add something to the rest of the build. If I had the pieces, I would have made the colors match the house a little better.

    I know - I've got to work on my collection of ground/landscaping pieces. One reason I joined Kaliphlin is that I have so little green! As a kid and TFOL, I never built castles or houses, or bought those types of sets for myself - it was always SPACESHIP SPACESHIP SPACESHIPs. Thanks!

    Ouch! We need a dice change or a luck change or something.... I suggest 'XX' shoots his cannon if he attacks again, since putting him in the front row will get him killed. However, we need to do some healing first, or he'll knock us out too. Nerwen can heal herself is actually good to go, Alexis might want to use a potion and Matthias will use one on RR&SP. We can actually not even attack this round, since the free hits are negated by Blinded.... Matthias, feeling slightly better, winces as Calmcacil and Fenral take a pair of hits. The gnome calls to 'XX', "I agree, why carry that gonne around if you aren't going to use it?!" Moving up behind Ruffers and Pigley, he administers a Grand Potion. > Matthias: Grand Potion on Russel Ruffers & Sir Pigley

    So, at this point, the safest place for Matthias to do nothing is behind Purpearl in the battle order... Matthias nods to Nerwen, a grimace of pain and determination across his face. "Finish him quick and then I will need some assistance," he mutters. The gnome takes a knee behind his comrades, cannon lying near, and prays to Orrik that Aventine's amulet can knit his rent flesh. > Matthias: Nothing

    I figured your plan out when I saw that you had Matthias behind Nerwen - assuming she heals Math instead of attacking, should work great!

    We'll get this right eventually hahahaha. CK, I still think Nerwen should attack - assuming Purpearl doesn't roll Special Damage, assuming Matthias is moved to the first position in the battle order, he will be nearly at full health by the time Blinded wears off. Speaking of which, Matthias should be at the front of the battle order now to prevent him from getting hit any more. > Matthias does nothing

    You're right! I was thinking blinded still left Special Damage available, but since all his attacks are physical, we're good! "Lady Nerwen, might it not be better to attack while our foe is blind? I will live a few more minutes," Matthias calls out through his gritted teeth. Swallowing his pain, the ranger summons his courage and fires at Magnar again. > Matthias: Extraordinaire vs. Magnar

    Matthias cries out in pain and grabs his side, holding his torn flesh in place with both hands. The gnome's mind recalls the Grand Potion in his bag, but he's afraid to move his hands because his insides might fall out.     Rats, I really liked him with just Special I! Matthias, laughing for joy that here is a battle without pesky moral confusions, immediately fires his cannon at Magnar from the back row. "Quick! Before the others get too far away! Quick! Before the others get too far away!" he yells in two languages. Based on Special II, we should probably put lower levels at the beginning of the order, so that whoever is right below a hero in the order can handle the extra damage without much trouble. If Alexis rolls Special Damage, the resultant hit will kill Matthias if he is behind her in the battle order, for example. > Matthias: Extraordinaire vs. Magnar (back row)

    Heh, if this qualified as a "little build" for me I'd be ecstatic. Great work. The cobblestone street is very simple but I really like it. +1 UoP for Architecture: Roofing and Walls (Tudor)... I'm from Kaliphlin though, so I don't know much about life in Avalonia. Just kidding, you guys have it rough with the plague and the drow and everything... +1 for Anthropology: Life in Avalonia.
