I would join to the group of folks who want to see 130 bucks Erebor set...it will be a great bacground to the BoFA, and we will get the main structure of the whole story, which is the Lonely Mountain/Old Dwarven kingdom/homeland of Thorin Oakenshield, so my suggest or wishis is: 1. Rescue form Dol Guldur Sauron, Gandalf (he will be there almost for sure) and Galadriel OR Galadriel, Saruman and Sauron 2. BoFA battlepack with small construction of Dale with 6 minifigs and one animal/steed maybe Dain Ironfoot on boar (doubt that TLG will relase new mold of steed) so more likely Dain Ironfoot without boar, 2 Iron hill dwarves soldiers with recycled Gimli´s helmet in grey, with axes and round grey printed shields, one armoured elf with printed armour and new helmet (which can be used in case of third wave LOTr (if they make a set which depicts Last Aliance or something like that) and two orcs (new armoured) with Eagle? 3. Smaug attack - Molded Smaug with additional brickbuilt parts, and a house in a size of LTC) with crossbow etc... with Bard, Alfrid, LT citizen/Braga, Bofur (or any Dwarf from those four remaining in LT and maybe Bolg? 4. Battle of five armies - Thorin in armour, Bilbo in blue coat or in mithril armour, 3 armoured orcs with black warg(?), 2 armoured elves, 1 LT guard or soldier and 1 Iron hill dwarf? In total there could be 9 minifigs + steed :) On the other hand I am just curious about the possible large Lake Town Townhall :) .. it would be great to see another addiction to the LTC...

Nice collection of Rohan soldiers and Uruks, but the weird thing is to have in that army so many Eomers, and so many same hairy Uruks...I recomend you to BL some helmets for them, and also create some other Rohan soldiers than those (you recicling 3 torsos) You can use some chainmail torsos from Vikings series or castle series which are good for Rohan soldier/rider...And also Y would use some more type of horses :D

Maybe there will be three minifigs instead of classic two :) Maybe its a set based on plot at Dol Guldur, with Sauron, Galadriel and Gandalf :) I guess that set no 2 will be armybuilder and the 4th set will depict Smaug and part of Erebor/Dale...

Its little bit childish at least those constructions and the main plot itself, but lion knight figs are almost the best castle knights we have.. (with red lion knights and dragon knghts from previous waves...

Yep i know tha but I am interested into some other sets like Medieval market Village, or Kingdom Joust and something like that :) Those are really great addictions to the Castle theme.. I just recently saw this short stop motion...and thats encourages me into the Castle theme once again after decades.. :D

Is there ny news about Castle theme for this year? sorry I didnt read all of those previous pages... :/ Is there any chance to get some more of village focused sets? :)

Officially they suppose to be Mirkwood Elf guards :) These new ones has better printing of their attire - there cannot be any argue about that, but yet another elf with green hood. On the other hand, now these elves are more accesable to general population of customers :) And thats my plus.

and new elves with armour prints and helmets, and dwarfs form Iron Hills, with their leader Dain ridding on a boar :) and new armoured orc of course :)

Yellow faces on LOTR fellowship heroes and bright green orcs (like Fantasy Era) uaaargg :)

I agree that MoS is a bit failure in comparation to the Gondorian soldier, but either way this speculations are now useless. I just want to refer that the construction of black gate itself is really great and accurate. And as a set its better than for example barrel escape, goblin king battle etc...figs are figs and there is nothing you and I can do with this...I am also disapointed with the result, that we didn get a soldier of gondor with those accesories we need...

Yeah from that point you have right, otherwise is a terrible set with some nice brics and figs but terrible structure, hairless orcs, and some rangers from mirkwood in a new coat..we already had those...basicly except thranduil and maybe new color variation of warg nothing new..

Smaug made of around 1000 bricks? Or even 800, 700...500 is just insane wet dream ladds :)

As I can see, yoiur opinion is influenced by only minifigs. Its just little failure but not apocalypse :) So you have twice main characters if you want to build complete gate... so what? keep the structure and sell minifigs, or use their parts for something yours..Aragorns body can be used as a body of some gondorian nobleman, mouth can be used (except the helmet and head) as a Nazgul or dark sorcerer and Gandalf the white ... Dunno anything :) They were probably limited with new molds and printings that explains the uruk hai helmet on mordor orc...

Black Gate is one of the best sets from the theme along with Weathertop, Helms Deep, and Bag End. By the way, its not belong to this discussion but honestly? Becaouse of LOTR , I´ve returned from my dark, really dark ages, and for example buy sets like Medieval Village Market, and also the Mediavel Raid, etc, start creating my own projects, and so on... This specific theme makes me spend a lot of my money for a kids toy...for brics made of plastic and sometimes I look ridiculous beforme my girlfriend :D And to the topis - I thing that one more set is not so bg harm to for TLG..just one last set for say goodbye...Minas Tirith with all we want to see...lets make it 500 buck set, I dont care...but give us what we need to have. Thouse minifigs and great structure ..And I ´ll bet that TLG can solve the problems with the scale as they did in Helms Deep set...

On a contrary, Erebor is the main reason of their journey..Thorin and Company want to reclaim their Homeland..which is Erebor :) Barrel Escape was and yet is overpriced

Shields are quite ok, but I ´ll apreciate new mold insted of that recyclated teardrop :) MEA has some nice and useful bricks, but the set as it is (mean structure) is horrible.

Doesent change anything, TLG will hardly relase a set with 4 identical figs + for example one horse and some kind of strucutre :)

Wizard battle and MEA are aimed for kids I suppose... :)

There will be no LOTR wave this year I suppose...

Dol Guldur Battle. Set with so many potentials and yet a really good variation of minifigs and layout for them. Also like Lake Town chase - these little medieval buildings are just sweet, I already have two of those and used them to my Medieval Village as alittle fischer mans port with jail :) But honestly, only DGB (conected with DGA) and LTC are good sets, much more better than Mirkwood spiders attack or Goblin king battle or the terrible Barrel escape. And for the rest, I honestly curse MEA! :)

What minifigs? Theoden and Eomer? Or this one lame soldier? You´re acting like we already had a bunch of Riders of Rohan :D
