    Like Chewbaca and a lot more... Azog is one of the best lego minifig based on LOTR or Hobbit. That Bolg on that screenshot looks really weird, and I hope that he will not look like that in original sets...

    Lake Town Chase When I saw that set for the first time at last SDCC I was really disapointed. And when this set arrived at my local store, I feel the same..but now, when I finally put my hands on it, I like it much more than anything from 2nd Hobbit wave and 1st as well accept Unexpected Gathering set... Now I expecting some orders form Bricklink to build my own designed add ons ti the set, so it will loke like much more like Lake Town :)

    You mean x towers with Windlances and Bains, Alfrids etc ? ;) the set of same size as a Council of Elrond with possibly 4 minifigs.... If rumors and speculations are true

    My thoughts for figs in Lake town set is Bain, Alfrid, lake Town guard and maybe bolg or some evil character...

    Thanx for notes, i apreciate it. I tried to combine TLG design with some techniques like Derfel Cadarn, but honestly, my goal is to create MOCs like TLG does their sets, so you´re right that I should simplify the walls a bit. I will use more of the 1x2x2 bricks and less 1x1 round plates :) Btw on the roof I used 1x2 slopes not 1x1 cheese :)

    Thanx, Iam definitelly planning to create this house in real, but it will be quite expensive, after I finished with LDD design, I realize that the house itself contains 1097 pieces :D its so ridiculous :D But I will do it. So probably In april I will post another pics... :)

    Hi everyone, this is my latest project. After several thouf´ghts I tryied to create add on to already existing set form Castle theme. This is result - upgraded and recreated medieval house based on existing tavern structure. It contains 892 pieces exluding figs.     Its nice creation but the gate with all those spikes on the top is kinda weird, those spikes should be placed on the sides as well and I will recomend you to use those more wisely :)

    No Yazneg was in the ser because TLG thought that he is Azog, because Azog supposed to look like this. TLG makes sets based on the movie not a books. And yes you´re right about Beorn, but they (TLG) need to include him in the wave somewhere.. And maybe we see him in Dol Guldur in extended version...And in the movie storyline he was there acording to his tale... So for you maybe this Darth Cadeus analysis is good, but unrealistic.:)

    Why Easterling in Osgiliath ruins? They never been there :) He describes those sets because he wants (as everyone here) those minifig in cheap :) Its a good idea for armybuilding but only for AFOLS...

    Maybe Azog will dies with Radagast at the very beginning of the TABA. We may see the scenes with Smaug, then the scenes from Dol Guldur, where White Council rescue Gandalf the Grey... Then in the battle Azog dies with Radagast - Gandalf takes his staff...And Bolg will be new leader of the Saurons Army....

    Sorry it was out of topic. No of course I didnt expect that there will be some new uruks molds, but the hair is quite realistitc expectation - Lurtz could be the same, he wil l wear breast plate only and maybe a composite bow. That bow can be used in other sets, like castle etc. Scouts are good idea but I get it - its not realistic at all :) So to be on the ground - amon hen with Lurtz (new hair) with bow and breastplate, Aragorn, cape, cloak, sword, Frodo with sting, 2 Uruks with printed hand on helmets and shields. Small structure with palantir tower... Nice army building set if it takes 29.99 :)

    Seriously doubt that TLG will sow us a different mordor orc print torso. Battle packs usually contains 5 minifigs, so there will be what? 5 regular orcs? 2 with hairpiece and 3 bald? Or one of them with uruk hai helmet? :) And if we get a new orc with third wave, I think that TLG will reuse the prints from TABA wave if there will be some :) Btw Rohan x Uruk hai subtheme is not finished yet. There are main characters still missing (out of topic) and we seriously need some Rohan riders instead of Eomer, and some more rohan villagers/rag tag army. Helms deep and Orthanc - they are good sets but it not covers all the things we ( or I ) need :)

    Mordor pack with old orc prints? Never... AMON HEN with new Lurtz in armour and a new heairpiece mold, Boromir with his horn and some more Uruks like Uruk hai scout... :)Yep definitelly AMON HEN with PALANTIR TOWER!!! :)

    Useless for who really? I enjoyed Azogs character in the movie as well as I enjoyed the book itself many years ago. I think that Ii dont have to explain you the differences between book and movie and also I think that its waste of time to argue what was better. Its a PJ. And its his movie, and maybe we dont see the logic, but I bet that he has some plans with both of those characters, so wait until the third part of the movie came out and then complain :) They give us Bolg, there is no doubt. We will se Bolg, Dain II Ironfoot, Smaug and probably Bain. The rest is for now in shadows :)

    I dont want to offend you ZCerberus, but he wasnt moderating anything, he just want to notice that this is lego Hobbit 2014 topic, and that many of previous post did not respect that. And I thing that anyone can reply to that issue. I find this as a little bit territorial behaviour, but dont get me wrong almost everybody behaves like that.. :)

    That set supposed to be from the movie, but I guess that those differences are mostly becouse of those changes, and we dont really know what material TLG have for creation fot hat set. And by the way, TLG creates their sets based on PJ movies, PJ movies are based on the book. So the main logic of whole plot is hidden in the books, read them.

    Firstly calm down boy, and second: there were two groups of elves: one from Tauriels group who wears grean cloaks and the other one on Water gate. I didnt spot any army of armoured elves, if u do, u probably watched a different movie than I did. P.S. use your hoods for whatever you want to, thats not my bussines :) Sauron has an army ade of Gundabad orc and wargs. That counts as two different armies. Sauron himself has nothing. Exactly not on them. But wood elf archer with helmet? You never shoot from bow did you?
