  1. I have no high hopes in terms of minifigs count… I would say, that Theoden and the trio of heroes from the Fellowship is necessity. There is also potencial for them to have different prints since all of them are slightly geared up (chainmails etc.). Then I would expect at least one horse for Theoden. And then the oprions of inclusion other figures are limitless… I would hope for 4 more on good side (Haldir and 3 Rohan soldiers including Gamling…) and 4-5 Uruks including leader (meaning unique faceprint and no helmet), and berserker… This would mean unique parts for Rohan helmet, Uruk-hai helmet, Uruk-hai shield and thats it. New prints: rohan soldier torso and legs, uruks, rohan shield, new torsos for the rest of the minifigs and possibly some banner for both sides. I am more conservative based on what we saw so far from Lego…
  2. Yeah. But then again. There are rumored 2 sets. 500$ Helms Deep and 120$ Prancing Pony. So i made my assumption based purely on this info…
  3. If the 120 $ Prancing Pony rumour is true, then I wouldnt expect many figs… Aragorn, Hobbits, 2 Nazguls and Barliman? That makes 8 figs in relativelly small set… I dont think so :)
  4. Right, my mistake :D Éowyn is crucial... This makes me think... There are so many important characters in Edoras, but then I guess that if Edoras is made as a set, it will have ppossibly haveossibly 10 figs, no more... Théoden Thédred (on dying bed I guess) Éovyn Éomer Gríma Háma Gamling Royal guard(s) Merry Gandalf Aragorn Gimli Legolas (...) and of course we want to see a few riders of Rohan right? So who is gonna make it? Possibly, in hypothetical discussion... :)
  5. Edoras would be great set… I can imagine Meduseld and then stables along with one small building, perhaps smith… 2 horses, Theoden, Eomer, hopefuly Hama and or Gamling, 2 soldiers, Grima, Gandalf the White (with grey cape), Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli. Also, Merry would male sense, in Rohan attire :) It could be easilly 500 $ set with a bit of landscaping (similar to Rivendell)…
  6. The Shire will be available till the end of 2026, Barad Dur and Rivendell till 2027.
  7. Jedi Bricks is no reliable source at all… he is just a fan with wishes… he speculates a lot, usually repeating rumours and gossips he learned elsewhere. Mumakil and Helms Deep maybe. But Prancing Pony? Lol….
  8. My Guess is 1-2 Haradrim and Legolas and possibly Gimli...
  9. From what we know so far, it is based on the Battle of Pelennor fields. But it will contain only 3 minifigs… but we can always dream right? :)
  10. Maybe it's just me, but I'm not really into bulky armor. I don't even like the Dragonborne Paladin armor as much as everyone else seems to. It just doesn't look that good to me, and it makes the minifig look kinda weirdly bulky.
  11. They are definitelly not better than their original Lego counterparts. Its a cheap knockoff… sorry. But that doesent mean that Lego isnt greedy woth their current politics, locking up these desireble and long awaited figs behind riddicullous paywall…
  12. You mean that Koruit “Lego” Gondorian soldiers are superb? These…https://customizeminifiguresintelligence.wordpress.com/2018/12/11/quick-review-of-koruit-lotr-gondor-knight-minifigures/ ??? LOL 😂😂😂😂😂
  13. It is the most complex and sophisticatwd build Ive wver done, sure. But Rivendell is still a best set I ever had and that Lwgo ever released. For me. Its really frustrating that gondor soldiers are locked behind this expensive paywall… I would love to have more of them, at least 4 more…
  14. Yes, it's nice what you write, but I don't question this at all. I'm just saying that in the photo, the large army of orcs in front of the walls of Minas Tirith looks strange because the facade of the city is microscale... That's all.
  15. I love the new Sea Serpent. Figs are great, I expect nothing more. Zelda shield is weird. But its casued by its shape… New logo is awesome. Hipe for full Black Knight Castle soon :)
  16. This way of displaying MT just makes the set look even smaller and out fo scale… It works woth few guards on lowest wall, but thats it. With army kike that outside the gates, it is just too small…
  17. Depends... :) Printed cloth sail and printed shield should be a basic standard, since we are talking of a redesigredesign/remaken / remake of the old classic set. I am glad that Lego will apparently hold to that. The only question is, wheter the currrent torsos can represent a Black knight faction? Is the Griphon Knight torso allright? Its moslty silver and dark red, so the colour scheme doesn't resemble the original scheme of Black knights. What else do we have...? So... if Lego chooses to do this set right, they will come up with at least one newly printed torso which could be universally used (such as printed breastplate or scale mail on classic red or black torso). If not, we get some mix of existing otrsos (Griphon Knight as a most probable addept) and thats it....
  18. So.. Mumakil. What are the odds that this set includes Theoden, Eowyn and Whitch King? ;) Yeah, I thought that Whitch King and Eowyn belongs to the Minas Tirith set, and voilá! They are not there. And no orc eithet (if you dont count Grond GWP). And, its not just about new parts for Uruks. There would be new parts for Rohirim, possibly Aragorn (Anduril), Haldir etc… Based on previous sets, how many new molds did we get? In Minas Tirith, only helmets for soldiers and crown/hair mold for Aragorn. In Barad Dur? Sauron and his Mouth helmets and pack of orc helmets (and Gollum), in Shire? Nothing… so…
  19. 2 elven soldiers in Helms Deep? Oh please... :D That requires a new mold for the helmet and new prints for torso and legs... I guess that we get Haldir at max. Regarding the Uruk-Hai, I am not sure whether they will be included...I would love to have them, but then again, new molds for helmets, new prints... So Theoden, Éomer, Éowyn in her dress, Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas, and a few soldiers of Rohan (like Gamling and 2 warriors) is the more realistic approach. I guess new Helmets for Théoden and Éomer, Gamling will be without helmet, and regular soldiers with viking helmet (reuse of already existing mold) with possible unique print...Aragorn in his traditional brown outfit, Gimli in chainmail (please!), and Legolas with his light armour. That's enough novelty based on experience with other LOTR sets...
  20. Did anyone noticed that in Dustmarks Keep is a little Sea Serpent ship model? :) see (6:18)
  21. I hope Barad Dur will hold up at least till the end of next year. I want to pick it up eventually but not now, now its a Minas Tirith time :)
  22. Rohan is next almost for sure. But hardly Edoras… Helms Deep most probably. Edoras is harder to translate than Minas Tirith (if you dont want to do Meduseld only or a small portion of the Rohan capital…)
  23. Yeah, I had this direction in my mind as well… Some diorama with Witch King on Fell Beast, Theoden, Eowyn and Merry in rohan attite… Still I think that set like this would be at least for $150 at least. I cant see TLG making Meduseld or Wdoras in any sense. Only Rohan-themed set I can imagine is Helms Deep. There could be Eowyn as well in dress, and also Theoden in his kingly outfitt (as well as in the armored one). Other figures are tricky… few Rohan soldiers (how many depends on how big the set would be), but regardin Uruk Hai Iam not sure…
