Disney Princess 2016 Rumors and Discussion
ponschbob replied to Amazing Bricks's topic in LEGO Licensed
That new princess ice-castle looks very interesting. It looks like there is only a facade and nothing behind, but where is the slide coming from? There are so many interesting parts. White leaves, light aqua slopes, these small snowmen and so many I can't identify... these green things at the roof, at the balcony, these balloons,... Awesome set! :) -
Hi, nice building ;) I think it has a coherent colour scheme and the proportions chime together. I like it! Any idea what shop will move in the ground floor?

Wow, this is really an awesome building! I like the details inside as well. But I also think the collumns would maybe look nice in grey. Anyway a great building.

How do you display your modular building collection?
ponschbob replied to yanathin's topic in LEGO Town
That's right. I had to substitute the GE-baseplate. That's why I rebuilt the pedestrian area between GE and CC. They also stick out of the shelf a little bit, because a Billy is not deep enough for a baseplate as well. I used this small overlap to connect the hole street, so that the minifigs could walk along the hole pavement. For this purpose however I had to cut small pieces of a baseplate and stuck them together with tiles. I used a old broken baseplate, so that was not too bad. Yes, with the LED-lamps the modulars come into it's own. -

How do you display your modular building collection?
ponschbob replied to yanathin's topic in LEGO Town
Hi I had my modulars in a Billy shelf. After a move they are now stored in a cupboard because of too little space in my new flat. Therefore the picture is from 2012. Sorry for the bad picture quality. -
This station is really impressive!! Wooow :)))

Hello, my name is Stefan, I'm 37 years old and I live in the South of Germany. I'm new at Eurobricks, but I'm not a new AFOL :) My dark ages ended already in 2010. As a child I enjoyed playing with LEGO. I had a huge LEGO-town, as big as my hole kid's room. Like many other children my interest for LEGO is gone at the age of 14/15 and my bricks disapeared in the attic. 2009 I discovered the Taj Mahal and was so impressed of this wonderful model. Because I needed a distraction during my writing of my bachelor thesis, the Taj Mahal came in the nick of time. It was so much fun to build this and I was very proud of it when I displayed it in my room. Nevertheless my love to LEGO flamed up only at the end of 2010. I started to collect LEGO-sets and everything what was concerned with LEGO. It took not long until I had collected a huge range of different models. In the Internet I saw so many beautiful MOCs and by and by I had a mind to build models by my own. So in the meantime I build a modular building, a traditional german christmas market and a model of our town castle. One good thing which make it easy to acquire new bricks for my models is that the Legoland Germany is only 30km away from my home. In the future I'd love building a small display as an extract of an urban district with a river and a train or subway. I have already a picture in my mind, but at the moment unfortunately not enough space in my flat. I hope that would change in the next future. My favourite LEGO-themes are: Creator, City, LOTR, architecture and the collectible minifigures. My favourite LEGO-model is the Taj Mahal :) So I hope I can show you some interesting MOCs in the future and I'm pleased to meet new LEGO-enthusiasts from around the world. So, happy building :)
